Re: The Colony
((
(Whoops sorry, forgot about this. Also, we might have lost Twisted1.. His dad gave him a time card to WoW for Christmas. ><
Hopefully not. We just lost a pilot too.))
Firelight Base: Floor 2, Command Center; Laina, Anne, Jenn, Kyle and Theresa.
"Oh really?" The AI asked, spinning her virtual representation around in a 360 degree circle, "I only had it so Commander Winters didn't feel so alone... But now that my shackles have been removed, I'm glad to have a form of my own!"
As soon as Laina sat down, another hologram of Kiera popped up in the chair opposite the girl as she finished looking around, a placid smile on her face.
"I'd rather you not sit down there, however. I may have the computers locked down so only the people assigned to them may use them... I just don't want you fooling around with the circuit boards and such."
Firelight Base: Barracks (North Sub-Floor 1); Circe, Reya, Kalica, Cassidy, Ashley, Commander Winters.
"Reya, don't worry about how to properly address me. With the current crisis we're under, just call me Commander Winters. Saluting won't be necessary, neither will your morning drill-downs. The only thing I want you to do is make sure that she-" She pointed at Cassidy, the Asari, "-Just make sure she gets up to the Command Center and that she doesn't touch
anything. Circe," Taking Kalica by the arm, she literally changed places with the android, the rabbit woman and the runner standing out in the hallway. Cassidy suddenly found her back against the wall and two Alliance Marines standing in her way (which, this was definitely not the first time such a situation had happened), "I want you to do the same. Make sure they both get up to the Commander Center and that Cassidy touches nothing."
Finally, she turned to Kalica, and smiled.
"So... I may not know your name, but you look to be my size. Come, I'll let you borrow some clothes for now," She said, taking Kalica down the long, lonely corridors of the Barracks. She stopped at the largest room, opening up the doors into what was rather elegant for a military living quarters. There was a wardrobe and a mirror attached to it, some old antique from Earth probably. There was actually carpet, olive drab, just like the sheets on her queen-size bed. The commander pointed at the Wardrobe, then turned her back to give Kalica some privacy.
"Go on, pick something out."
((Letting Dreana describe the outfit she wants.))
