ULMF thread

The translation is more or less complete.

1. Text getting cut off and not fitting the text boxes.
I'm not exactly sure what's causing it, but you could try changing your locale to japanese if you haven't yet.
A workaround for now is to use the in-game message log (A key) to read the cut off lines of dialogue.

2. Some characters have default RPGMaker portraits in dialogue.
You're using a wrong version of the game.
You can always purchase the latest up to date version from the dlsite link above.

Good choice. I actually enjoyed the game play in this one. Looking forward to running through it again in English.

Bleh, bit of a waste translating this one if you ask me. The art is nice, but it was a real grindfest with mostly linear h-content progression. But maybe that's just me, corruption scores that are nothing more than a formality (pure stat tracking is fine, but railroading you down a very specific sequence of H-scenes is annoying) are a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

I personally would like to see as many games possible translated for complete enjoyment into a native language. Was your post just to say it's a waste of time for someone to do this? Comments on the game itself should probably have been in the game thread, and not the translation thread at this point. Bit of a downer for anyone doing translations or newbies wanting to see a game in english...just my take on this...

Fair enough, I just wanted to say that there are a lot of untranslated games out there that are, in my opinion, much better in case you had just jumped into translating this one without playing it first. Don't mean to discourage you.

I'm sure there are, but I guess I'm just that overly picky. I swear I've searched DLSite top to bottom looking for something that would catch my interest, but since I don't have much time these days to play through every game and really delve into their gameplay, as unfortunate as it is, yes, art and fetishes have been the main selling points for me. Out of the handful games I picked out, half of them were too enormous for me to even dream of finishing, and out the other half this one just looked the most appealing. I might regret this pick yet, but it definitely hasn't happened yet. And hey, I'm no stranger to linear progression.

Suggestions for other game translations should best be made on the Translation Requests thread...get other ones going, and encourage more..
 
Finally some1 translating a game from hukidamari, god bless you.
 
Apart from some stuff like the credits that can only be accessed through the engine, raw translation of the game should now be finished, leaving only the editing, QC and some technical aspects I want to see if I can do anything about. Not going to name any dates, since honestly, given how excessively meticulous I can be, this could easily take just as long, if not longer.
 
So ewn, is this going to be based on v2.02?
Also, don't burn yourself out! Already we owe you a great deal of gratitude... :)

Yes, it will be based on the latest version.
And no need to worry about me, really. I know my limits. Or at least I hope I do.
 
It's good to see you back translating ewn. Although i haven't tried that game you chose yet it looks promising and i think you made a good choice.

Whew, the editing should be now done for the most part.
I'm going to do another full run to see if everything is in order, but it's probably safe to assume that the release is going to be somewhere within the week.
