this was a good game but holy crap i tried like 7 times to escape the reactor room before i eventually had to search up how to jump certically(high jump+double didnt work) until i found this thread and the existence of screw attack that i didnt even use lmfao

I was excited until I realized you left out the part we necro'd this over an alt skin and not a new game
 
It's a shame Grimhelm seems to have dropped off the face of the earth, the three games we got are really solid and he had a lot of potential to take it even further - AQE's animated game overs were a great addition. Hope he returns one day.
 
At least they've left on a high note and didn't sell themselves to profit and start making trash for the pile. Y'know what I mean, the usual slideshow VN rpgmaker bullshit the H-game market funnels through on a regular basis. It sucks so much the actual H-games that are games tend to be better in every field and are usually animated, but the best slideshow H-games generate so much more profit. I feel for those devs, they're real ones.
 
Eh, I wouldn't count him out just yet, he disappeared for quite some time before releasing AQE. And iirc he even said something to the effect of going silent until the next game was done or nearly done.

I blame short attention spans. A large portion of the modern audience doesn't want to bother playing the game, they just want instant gratification.
Even threads for some of the "quickest to the H content" kind of games take no time at all for people to show up begging for full saves (on F95 anyway).

It's kind of hard to blame it on this, given the content we're talking about. Not everyone wants to dedicate large portions of their days/lives to porn, but they still are into the style of content only found in porn games. So, they get the full save, jerk off for five minutes, and move on with their day.
It is unfortunate that the pipeline has begun catering to that crowd, but I can't really be upset at the end users for consuming the medium in that fashion.

Really disappointed it's just a 3D animation and not an outfit modded into the game.

is there a way to actually reset the gallery? like when I want to replay the game and "collect" them all anew

its probably not happening, man said he was tired even before he made alien quest eve, complained every step of the way, and when it came out, disappeared off the face of the earth. he was forcing himself to finish the game. let the man retire.

That's a load of crap. I don't remember him complaining even once. He posted a demo, disappeared for 2 years, then came back, closed his patreon, finished the game and released it for free. There was nothing about him being tired or retiring. He even posted a concept art for his next game. If I have to guess, he's just continuing to be busy and doesn't have time to work on it.

he said after he finished dungeon & maid that he didn't want to make H platformers anymore, and that he'd stick to gallery games or simple sex scenes, then he announed with "here we go again" energy that he was making alien quest eve
