VN/TEXT RPG NTR [Makura cover soft] Dungeon and Bride (RJ01431277)


It's pretty easy to level from about 1 to 12. I don't really recommend changing jobs though since it nukes your bonus points. It's alright if you're willing to save scum a bit to get your stats back up. CCmod has an option that changes it, bonus point cheat, it sort of has the opposite problem though, your stats end up to high.

Some classes can be changed with item special powers, that's the ideal way. Unfortunately the only 2 I know off the top of my head are

Thief >assassin = with thief dagger
Mage>sorcerer = with some late game wand

I'd actually like to know if there are other class change items? I get the thief dagger by midgame in most of my runs, it's a good option for max.
 
I dislike ntr and got baited into the game. played blindly without reading anything and not knowing the circle.
I got hooked because 'MC suffers injustice' and I'm into that stuff, but not the ntr stuff. The storyline looked interesting and fun, but unfortunately the ntr appears only after 10h into the game (instead of being some kind of opening bullshit that "is passable"), and in the game it even gets "tragic" as the girl ends up rejecting the MC. The dungeon mechanics was pretty good, but unfortunately it's ntr.

I mean, if the MC decided to simply murder the bully with his full party, outside of the duel system, I think that could have worked for me. Before the "tragic ntr" part or something. I was wondering if I made a mistake of not picking "evil" MC but after checking the thread, nah, its indeed full ntr.

Edit: that aside, on the mechanics itself, I really liked them. Like a lot how the mechanics aren't just tossed all at once at the beginning, the mechanics keep unwrapping and evolving in a natural way, incentivizing you to explore and try stuff. Got quite disappointed when I figured it was ntr lol
Edit2: oh except the job changing shit. I didn't know I was going to get back at lvl 1, and after trying a job for a few hours and going back to my original job, I still got back to lvl 1 again. Bull shit.

This is mostly my take too, sans the ntr, because i don't hate it, i just don't care, but this feels designed to be cheap ntr.

The job changing isn't so bad since you keep hp, spells/spellslots and equipment, which is where a lot of your power is coming from. going back and forth though, not great, and some stat pots drop from normal fights, so you can basically cap your stats anyway.

I know offhand there's also the red staff with metal ends that can do Druid -> monk (which seems really strange), and a warrior -> lord sword.

i haven't checked yet, because the thief dagger refuses to drop for me, but how about the spell slot progression for assassin? do you get them relatively quickly, or is it a real grinds since you've already gone up a decent number of levels?

They get the normal half caster spell progression, like Monk, Spellblade, Valkyrie, etc. They use alchemy spells. You won't get any spells when you class change with an item, but you'll get them very quickly when you level up, all the way up to the normal progression for your level. If you're not planning to bring an alchemist, then switching one of your thieves to an assassin is a pretty good idea, aside from the instant kill attacks, it's nice to have someone who can use the utility alchemy spells more than once or twice.

I usually don't have any trouble getting a thief dagger every run, but currently already level 20 without one. I'm wondering where a good spot to farm one is tbh.

I remember get a thief dagger from locked chest, but I forgot which chest it is, funny thing is, if your Max is an assassin carry over in NG+ he will turn back to thief in the beginning with same level, then he goes back to assassin again after rejoin, and that somehow gonna screwed up his level

For Lord job change, you need Excalibur an end game holy sword that somehow drop from mobs in hell, it's appearance is really similiar with the fake one excalipur or something that made out of gold
For Sorcerer, you need Star Wand, drop from mobs in hells too
 
I find it amusing that they call it "defense" when it's AC, and it works exactly how it does in D&D afaik (basically as an evasion stat), meaning they've never played D&D.
I thought that was 100% my fault, but looking at the original image file I edited, the JP text I replaced used that term too. Looks like the dev changed to calling it AC in a later version and I didn't spot it since it was in an image. So only 50% my fault. It'll be fixed next patch.

I haven't used your translation so i didn't know you did as well, i was only talking about the mod that was mentioned, but yea, i guess if that's the case... nice, appreciate the fix, lol.

So they'll quickly catch up spells/slots if they're way up in levels? that's good to know. i think in one of the older pre-release demos i tried it and it didn't work that way (they started gaining spell slots as if they were lv1 of the new class, and would gain them slowly.

That does make the class-change items far better.

I think Faith or Int stat affects the number of available spell slots.

I think sometimes before, someone said that INT affect how early a character learns a spell, which also affect how many instances of it you can achieved at lower level.
( for instant, if you learn Tier-9 spell at level 23 with 3 charges, with another 6 levels or so, you can have Tier-9 spells at 9 charges before hitting level 30? )

I'm currently playing on Free Mode,
- How do you get Maria to join as permanent mercs in your team?
- Is it just me, or In version 1.28 transl, you can hire Milday from Blue's Hideout. But if you make a fresh New Game on Free Mode for ver 1.34 transl, Milady and the Rat were not inside the Hideout?
Also forgive me for asking, wasn't there a Boat and a Ladder? So, how do you get them again?

・Fixed an issue where the pure love event for the second and subsequent Sylphs would not trigger midway
・Fixed an issue where some full barrels were not displayed on the map screen

<Adjustments>
・Increased instrument performance
・Slightly reverted the excessive reduction to character light equipment bonuses
・Reduced experience points and gold gained from Undines, Pixies, and Phantoms (for some reason, fairy-type enemies were unusually lucrative)
・Slightly boosted the performance of lower-tier spells
・Slightly strengthened the Three Great Demon Lords, Thunder Dragon, Earth Dragon, Lich King, and Demon Lord Moolmool
・Restored the ability to block “Claw of Destruction” and “Claw of Crush” with Missile Shield
・Changed Missile Shield's duration from infinite to finite, now expiring after several turns
 
Interesting changes to Missile Shield. I like making it limited; it was kind of overpowered before.

Allowing it to block the "Claw" abilities is a godsend though. Means "having a Lord in the party" is no longer a requirement.

You get Magic Boat spell from underground city, and for Magic Ladder you'll need both Sluice Gate Key from Water Dragon Temple and Magic Boat in Sapphire City Sewer

Recollection modes are finally in! Translation patch updated to 1.35. Link and instructions in thread.

I suspect there will be a few bugfixes relating to this (I got an "object is already invalidated" crash a few times when testing which will be from base game), but it seems broadly okay.
