Re: Viocide (Xi Company )

nice
download is brutal so far, looking like an hour each for 2 parts, and someone talking about it stalling on the second one.

I could of sworn the speed on that host was a bit faster...@@

I'll try to get a mirror up for this later if I can.

What about

Jokes aside, huge boobs are ugly in real life, be them white, black or polka dotted, and they get really ugly as time passes...

Re: Viocide (Xi Company )

The censoring is pretty heavy, just like previous XI games. Seemed slightly smaller in terms of unlockable h-content, but was actually a fun game to play.

Had a standard 2d sidescroller feel, acceptable difficulty, downright hard in places. Unlocked areas through things like key cards and jump boosts, as well as 'required' weapons for some enemys. A bit of backtracking here and there, but overall quite small of an area.

I am not sure how the hell I would be able to kill the end boss, but I got up to him and eaten so I unlocked all the scenes anyhow :) Maybe by wildly grinding the money for the highest gear in the shop. meh.

Standard controls:
Z = swing sword
X = jump
C = Shoot gun
A = Open menu (pauses game too)

In the menu, top option opens inventory, middle option teleports you back to the start, third option quits to menu screen.

Shamelessly lifted from hongfire, level up screen options are:
1. Sword atk focused(put most stat in Sword)
2. Life focus(Put most stat in HP)
3. Shooting Focus(Put most stat in Gun)
4. Speed/Luck focused(Put most stat in Agility and Luck(Crit)

The stats in the list, the top one is hit points, the second one is sword attack rating, the third one is gun attack rating, and the bottom one is movement speed. the ones in the middle, I'm not sure, but they didnt feel too important.

Haah, well finally finished uploading the mirror. Credits to Sizustar of HongFire for the original upload.

Uploaded to Mediafire like last time.

Here's the links for the individual parts if anyone can't access the folder.

Required weapons? As far as I could tell, equip ice beam + never change weapons again = kill anything. It's primarily used to get by those tube worms. You can technically try to jump over them with the high jump, but more often than not, you'll get caught.

Re: Viocide (Xi Company )

The game works great, I absolutely love this!

However, the Game Over movies start to drastically slow down after a good-running first 20 seconds or so (like 10 seconds per frame!) Then when the movie is almost over (15 minutes later) it speeds back up to regular speed. I had this same problem when I was trying the demo out of this and was hoping that it was an issue with just the demo. I've played both the VARPG and VARPG2 and never had that issue with those similar movies. So my question is: is anyone else experiencing this? any ideas to address this?

Oh, and silly me, look. I seem to have dropped out of all my lurkyness. *waves at the crowds* ^^

I'd say not so much 'required' as 'preferrable' (I.e. the slimes are weak to the Fire beam and resistant to the Ice beam)

Once your stats are high enough there's really no reason to switch beams ever again.

Also, in case no one noticed: holding down and pressing an attack button cycles through the beams you have (all three of em....)

@Oberon: You don't really need the best gear to beat the final boss, just stick to a single weapon focus, and hit him when the gauge is full (maybe one or two hits and he's down.)

Honestly, the only item I've been unable to obtain is in the Ice area: An "E" powerup that's behind a wall that apparenly you need high-jump to get over, except even with high-jump, and jumping from the raised section of the floor, I still can't get over it.

A low character level method of beating the final boss is to exploit the fact that its range attack can take you down to 1 hp, but can't kill you. Your character needs to be strong enough to kill the jellyfish, but that's about it.

First, clear out all the jellyfish. Then, find the maximum distance from the heart where you can still hit it with charged range attacks (I used the ice/light beam). Keep staying at that distance or further, and just popping off charged attacks from that point (corresponds to a dark spot on the floor) and retreating. You can tell when you hit off screen enemies by a damage sound.

Eventually, the boss will die. You'll probably just have 1 hp left, but it doesn't matter. All the jellyfish that were spawning during that time (for me it was 10-15) will be stacked on top of each other because your character was too far away to draw agro. You can hit the whole stack at once with melee attacks, so they go down fast if you know how to kite properly, even with only 1 hp.

because this is vore?:D
It's not just vore, there is tentacle rape too, besides as vore it's pretty lame, few animations(not even particuarly good) and they all look the same, but the game is enjoyable.

Re: Viocide (Xi Company )

By required I mean if you dont have the fire weapon, the ice slimes will tear you up unless you overlevel them a good bit. There are still places where the range of the base gun is better than the fire.

Once you get the ice beam, it is a pretty good all purpose weapon, but you wont get anywhere without it once you get it due to needing it to kill tube guys
But if you venture into the ice area again, the fire gun will still be better on slimes than the ice one.

but regardless, the point is that there are certain areas you really cant go until you get the right weapon.

As for the boss, the problem I had was the sliding. it was much harder to dodge the jellyfish guys when I was getting pulled along constantly.

I dont think I got to even level 15, and didnt buy any of the second best gear, never mind the top end stuff, so maybe I was a bit low level, but the basic mechanics of the boss room looks like it would be more annoying than fun.

Is there anything cool for killing it, to be worth taking the time/effort, since you get the h scene just for dying to it?

End result: Killing the heart sets off a pseudo-self destruct sequence (I say pseudo because there isn't a timer and it doesn't seem to matter how long you take..). Behind the boss is a teleporter that leads to a sealed room back near the beginning.

you 'win' by going back to your ship.

nothing fancy for winning.

Would someone mind explaining how to get through the colored doors to the rest of the game?

keycards you get as you move through the game
you cant go a lot of directions right away, but they open up more over time.
