Which Rape subgenre is most popular?

So I haven't seen a post like this after a short search, so i started this poll.

Please vote for the Rape Genre you are most interested in and if possible, state why that is the case. In this poll, Rape also includes reverse rape.

Short explanation for the categories:

• No Rape: You dislike the whole genre.
  
• Tsundere "Rape": The victim seems to object to the act but the reader/the characters soon realize that is not the case.
  
• Happy ending Rape: The Victim truly objects to the act but the act itself manages to arouse the victim to the point where he enjoys it. The Mind objects but the Body acts on its own.
  
• True Rape: The victim objects to the act and on top of it, there is no point during the act where the victim enjoys it (physically or mentally).

These 4 categories should include all subcategories in some way and are an easy way to summarize all the other subcategories. Again, please state why you enjoy your specific subcategory if possible.

Personally, Category 3, Happy ending, is my favourite. The gender of the victim does not matter at all. I like that subcategory because of the "I can't control my body" type of implication.

Yeh, I can understand your way of thinking, but even with Monster Rape, one of the 4 categories should apply (even though either category 3 or 4 can be assumed i guess).

EDIT:

On a sidenote, I would love to hear an explanation of someone voting for category 4. I mean, I have seen content like that, but it does not really appeal to me, I would love to know what the appeal of that category is.

It's probably either:
- It's the most realistic reaction.
- The (probably outdated) thinking that women should protect her dignity, and "lusty" women (physically or mentally) are not worthy.

And personally, I think people who dislike rape should stay away from topics like this altogether.

English is not my strong point, but there should be many ways to classify sub-genres.

You can classify rape by its target (schoolgirl, people's wife, ...), by the situation (GoR, battle rape, ...), etc.

The OP may simply want to do it with the target's reaction.

Then I'd go with true rape. It's more realistic, and rape is generally quite painful. And a woman should protect herself from sex that she doesn't consent to. Everyone should. Nothing wrong with a healthy sex drive, but enjoying your rape just kinda throws it out on me.

Call me weird for wanting to be immersed in my porn.

The True Rape. I can accept any subgenre (monster, machine, etc). But I love seeing the character got raped endlessly without any hope to escape but still trying to escape/resist (to no avail) until the end.

And what's tsundere rape? o_o

tsundere rape is no rape, but the girl/boy is too embarassed to admit she wants it until she's screaming his name...pleasure overrides pride eventually

I don't know. The reason I like monster is partially because it doesn't seem to work like the True Rape of your 4th option, even if it should apply. This ends up being kind of important for me because if any story has anything far too similar to true rape, it actually makes me pissed off to the point that it'll take a while to cool off.

This doesn't happen when it's a mindless beast, for some reason. My brain also seems to accept it if the MC is going to kill a lot of bandits and they end up doing that on the way.

I guess it's because it also changes the way you think about it? If a dog humps your leg, you laugh about it and push it away. If a man does that it's... complicated. Probably something about intent?


Yeah. I think this is the kind of thing I prefer. "Rape as inconvenience". Kind of weird. Not sure I like knowing that. Although I'd prefer "No rape" actually. It's just that that kind of game is hard to pull off. Most BFs aren't that good because it's hard to make it good, it's easier to just make a normal game but make the enemies try to grope you or something.

Haha sorry for the inconvenient names, but nothing quite like this exists so i had to come up with names and explain them in the first post.

So far im quite happy where this topic is going, still not sure though how many more appeals for the genres will come up.

About my opinion on this: Most RoR games include no pleasure for the victim and I still enjoy them, but if there is a bit more in-depth story involved, I sometimes dislike the game alltogether. That is part of why i asked for opinions on all of this.

Perhaps it's just a trifle too unique.

Done while canoeing on a moonlit creek.
The gothic rape!

It's done completely in a cheap saloon.

Needs a blue lagoon.

Or without a moon.
Moonlight is expensive but it's in demand.
The military rape:
It's done with drummer and a band.

I prefer Tsundere rape. I find realistic rape scenes to be a total turn off. I want my porn to be set in a happy fantasy land of big titted bimbos, big dicked ever ready dudes and tentacle monsters. If I wanted reality, I wouldn't be here.

Reverse Rape only.

A male raping a helpless female simply does not play into my fantasies at all.

I'm all for two ways Battlefuck (I don't know if it can be counted as rape since I guess the sex by itself is consensual, is the orgasm that isn't) where the man has the chance to come off on top.

I also like true rape because it offers a chance to make it part of the gameplay. Character gets raped, they get some sort of permanent or very long lasting debuff, as a shorter debuff for physical damage caused by the rape. As the character is raped more, their mental state continues to deteriorate. You would have to do something specific to recover from the psychological trauma, and as you recover you would be able to affect the character's personality in a positive way (while the damage it's self would obviously do the opposite).

Ahh, but perhaps a bit too complex for most H-games, no?

Even if you put them as sub genre the presentation can easily make the impression completely different.

For example, take tsundere rape.

The way it's described, the reader know of the girl's feeling in the middle of the act.

However, let's say the author delay that to the very end of the story, making it a punchline of JUST AS PLANNED, would it be true rape (she 'objects' the whole way), happy end rape (she gets him to do what she wanted), or is it still tsundere rape? (since we realizes her aim at the end)

It's like the Action Adventure genre of games these day.

"Happy ending" rape.

"Lusty mindbreak" ending works just as well or better.

Hard to say.
In part it's because sluts are awesome.
So if you take a prude and turn her into a slut, then that's at least twice as awesome, and probably squared.

The control you have when you take someone's body and play its instinctive reactions as your instrument regardless of the intelligence's wishes is also REALLY awesome.
Bonus points for hard mode if you don't cheat by using drugs.
But drugs are perfectly okay too.

Normal rape is forcing your own way on the body, which is fun and all, but since I like to see orgasms, "happy ending" rape is even MORE forcing the body to do what I want.
