Remake or Original?Im actually making it in RE1, and im putting up with the controls better than i was. I also took down the giant ass spider in the caves of the courtyard. I know that doesn't seem like a huge accomplishment, but i have a big fear of spiders, i almost cry when i see one. But i took on the boss head on and stomped it into oblivion. I feel kind of proud of myself for not breaking down and crying.
Playstation 1 Directors cut, I'm playing on original mode with Chris.Remake or Original?
Oh, God. Dune was ruined forever for me by my mother. She pointed out a similarity between Dune and an old cartoon.Just got myself aquainted with the backstory of Dune. There's just something about timelines that span thousands of years that makes for a strange feeling when reading about them, as well as space feudalism.
The remake on the DS? I would think that would look WORST...huh...DS must've done a damn good job . Also, the spider was still decently frightening. The ones im most terrified of are in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic..jesus monkey balls those face huggers are frightening as shit.REmake is definitively better, however I feel as though the first one would probably be scarier in some ways, so more ups to you for killing the giant black tiger
*edit* never mind, forgot how it looked, thought it was more scruffy from pixels, turns out its not really scary at all.
Also I hate "official" wikis of game series that constantly undergo retcons because the wikis sometimes don't even address the things that used to be true.
Wait, it's full moon? *checks* Crap, I didn't even notice. And here I've spent all night inside. I'd go out if it wasn't so frickin' cold. Not that I'm complaining, since I'm sick of people complaining about weather. The remake on gamecube, ya fu-el.
What made me giddy today was walking outside about 10-20 minutes ago when my roommate flipped out about how gigantic the moon was, not to mention its orange/yellow color and yelling "Jesus Christ! That's a Castlevania moon!"
I played it for PC and got some extra shit nearish the start, but I think it's all pretty much the same game. I wouldn't recommend the N64 version though, as I can only imagine the horrid control scheme.Quick question, since you guys seem to know remakes better, What do you recommend? N64, PSX, or Dreamcast version of Resident Evil 2?
