Nah, Seregitum's a girl alright. She's my ex that lives with my best friend and Reinhold and endlessly makes things complicated between me and my friends there now. It's a long bullshitty story, but it pretty much is summarized in that she's passively bashing my friendship with someone close to me into a confused blurry mess. Last event was that her current boyfriend told her a half truth and she wound up turning that situation into telling him that I am trying to sabotage their relationship. Was the last straw before I had enough with this person.

I found a stronghold when Minecraft ran out of memory and couldn't load the surface anymore. A waypoint has been set up (Netherrack north/south), and I'll set up a teleporter at the spawn camp.

Just a reminder, there's a waypoint near the teleport hut to get back to town with. Coordinates are N-Glass Pane, ESW-Blank.

Also, the Teleporter near Dragon's teleport hub leads to the stronghold.

Notch has said that he'll be introducing smaller dragons to the main world at some point. From what I've read Enderdragons fly through blocks because Notch didn't want people being able to box them in and whittling their health down gradually. They're meant to be a kind uber boss. Notch has also said that if he can beat it then it's going to be made even more powerful.

Regarding 1.9 - could I ask everybody not to build nether portals until the server is on 1.9? We'd profit from all the nether updates right away instead of having to walk through hell to get them.

EDIT: So I came up with an idea for a community project. It's not a secret that I love building towers, and judging from what I saw, so do many other people. I found a plain past the northern swamp that would make great building ground and is far away enough from the spawn area. My suggestion - a Tower City, or something along those lines. Everybody builds one tower however he or she wants, and they're connected with bridges, flying platforms for transport and farming and all that stuff (and a moat around each tower against Endermen). Would people be interested in something like that?

Yeah, I was actually going to ask that about Nether portals in the new world earlier though obviously I forgot.

And sure, I'd be up for making a tower city.

I'd be interested, although currently on a sneaky(ish) project, and hoping people will also be using the village-esque hill I built up. (Credits to helpers of course.) It has a forge for public use, well stocked, and a dozen or so spaces to be used by anybody for homes/stuff.

I'm just wondering if the plains would be more suitable for ground/normal houses, while areas less suitable for buildings with a wide base (again, 'normal'/ground buildings) would be more suitable? If that made sense at all, just my opinion/thoughts.

Also, about the 'however they want' bit, should a general theme/guideline/whatever be used to better unify the structures, rather then random ish looking buildings linked together?

I'd love to help out with a tower city. It's been awhile since I've been on, but I still haven't really found a place to start working so a community project would be fun.

DT, you've seen that one tower I built. Though this time it won't be so big, it'll still need a bit of space. And that'll be just one tower. And I don't think a certain style will be necessary. As a matter of fact, I think a cluster of different towers may look cool.

There is a waypoint set up at a secure location near the plains. Use the teleporter in the back of my Troll Lair for now - it's under the bridge to SH4K's castle near the spawn point. From there, go down the mountain and follow the trail of torches.
