Yawning, Serane pulls herself upright, placing Helena on her arms and heading to one of the wagons. Inside, it turns out to surprisingly spacious, though with the lamia's tail the floor is still rather cramped by the large-ish bed. Serane tosses Helena onto the bed unceremoniously before laying down next to her, her tail curling around both of them and providing a comfortable pillow for helena.

Helena eeped giggling as Serane tossed her onto a bed in the wagon before cuddling up to her, coiling around her again and giving Helena the best damned pillow to cuddle ever. It wasn't long before Helena dozed off in the lamia's arms, sleeping peacefully and feeling relaxed when she did.

Helena wakes up early as usual, feeling somewhat sore from the past night. Serane is still sleeping peacefully, and Helena can just see the sun starting to rise.

Helena, waking early and being an odd mix of warm, snuggly, and sore, wriggled free of Serane and wandered out of the wagon, searching for her clothing, or what was left of it... failing the, Helena would get a fresh outfit from her pack and stretch, looking around for Fenrir, the spiders, and the other women, smiling and in a pretty good mood.

The ground around the remains of the campfires is littered with damp remains of clothes. Helena finds hers easily enough, but they're dirty and wet. As she's looking for them, a couple young lamias come out and start new fires to make breakfast.

Helena found her clothing, or what. Was left of it, and sat down to clean, dry, and mend it before getting dressed. Seeing the other lamia getting fires started for breakfast, Helena wandered over.. "good morning!" She said smiling, wondering how her friends were doing as Helena lent a hand to breakfast and other morning chores.

"Good morning Helena!" the lamias answer almost at the same time. Once the fires are started, the pair starts cooking a heavy-duty breakfast, consisting mostly of meat, though they also make some fresh bread. Eventually other lamias start getting out of the wagons, and so do Aqua and Jasmine, both smiling widely. The breakfast is almost ready when Cindy and Willow walk - or perhaps limp would be a better word - out of a wagon together.

Helena helps with everything she can and waves at Aqua and Jasmine smiling. "Morning you two! Enjoy your night?" She said happily as she continued to work. Seeing Willow and Cindy however made her break into a fit of giggles almost immediately. "You two come here hehehehe" She said, burning the energy to alleviate how unbelievably sore they had to be even as she continued to snicker. "A little rough for lovers aren't they hahaha, But I saw your faces I know you had a good time, now come eat breakfast" She said all smiles, last night having put her in a good mood.

Aqua and Jasmine come to sit near Helena. "I had fun, at least."

As Cindy and Willow see Helena, they head to sit with her as well. "A little too rough." Cindy says, wincing a little as she sits down despite the healing. Finally Serane comes out of her wagon and comes to sit around the same fire as Helena. "Good morning everybody. Did you sleep well?"

Helena stretches and sits down to eat herself. "I enjoyed it" She said to Cindy still laughing a little. Seeing Serane, she waved. "Good morning Serane, I slept very well thank you~!" She said giggling between bites. "damn good night if you ask me" She said to the other girls, still smiling as she scratched Fenrir's ears.

Serane squeezes Helena's shoulder as she sits down. "I'm glad you had as much fun as I did."

It doesn't take very long for the lamias to eat breakfast, and soon everything is packed and ready to go.

Packed up, that was great, really fucking spectacular, because if the vampire had taken her to a guard house, and had official backing, then the farther they got from a position where he had any authority, the better. And the Amber Wastes seemed to be a pretty good fucking way to be headed for dealing with a powerful vampire on more even footing.

Happy to be moving, Helena didn't waste any time on getting her stuff in order and mounting her own horse, thinking the poor animal didn't get nearly enough attention and wanting to be ready to move without having to think overly much about it just in case, inviting Willow up to ride with her if she wanted to at least for a little while.

Willow declines Helena's offer to ride with her, instead sitting on a wagon with Serane. The caravan starts moving at a leisurely pace, first past the town and then turning northeast, following the road across the river. The day goes at a leisurely pace, and the wagons stop several hours later for lunch, followed by another strip of traveling until extending shadows make it hazardous for the wagon wheels.

A peaceful day of traveling and nothing eventful happening was a nice change after the day before, making Helena sigh happily and dismount as the travel for the day ended simply because it was getting too dark. Dismounting, Helena led her horse and tied him off before looking out into the shadows. Sitting down where she was, with her back to the campfires on the edge of the caravan, Helena opened her mind and cast it around. *If you're out there and want to talk... I'm willing to listen, but I wont be going anywhere until this job is finished, it's important to me.*

She didn't really expect to find her pursuer, but she knew who she was sending the message to, maybe she would get lucky. Sighing, Helena stood and kept her eyes on the shadows as she backed slowly into the caravan proper and went about setting up campfires and the like for dinner.

As expected, there's no sign of Helena being heard. When she heads back to the wagons, the fires have already been started and Jasmine is singing with some of the lamias while others cook. Serane is among those cooking as is Cindy, while Willow and Aqua are sitting aside, merely relaxing.

Helena joins Willow and Aqua in their relaxation, not overly surprised to not get an answer from her shadowey unknown, but not overly discouraged either. This was more to protect everyone that sate any curiosity. If she could get him to talk rather then make another scene and put people in danger, then more to the better. Although curious, she was not foolishly so this time. Only time would tell.

Yawning loudly, Helena would drape her arm around Willow and pull her into a snuggle around the fire. "And here we are, with the Vistani, on the way to the Mists. Thoughts?"

Willow leans on Helena, yawning as she does so. "It's been interesting trip, so far. I've never actually seen the mistborder before. I've heard that it can be quite beautiful."

"Beautiful? I heard it was just dangerous and you shouldn't go anywhere near it" Helena said blinking, but snuggling into Willow nonetheless. "What else do you know about the mists?" She asked curiosly, wondering if there was something important to be gleened here.

Willow seems to consider the question for a moment, before starting to answer in a lecturing tone: "Not a lot is known about the mists for certain, but...

"Huh, sounds like a mixup in the magic energy in general... Like bleed through where conflicting forces form a strange kind of interdimensional energy..." Helena muttered after Willow had finished. She knew that wasn't the whole truth, but it wasn't a bad theory. The part about something else behind it however troubled her a little, and the information regarding certain groups being able to travel it safely was even stranger still. It was the mist that had grabbed her in the first place, and it seemed to be a one way trip so far. Jasmine had also mentioned mist when she had formed the portal for the Rope demon, everything seemed to hinge on it. This place was starting to get fucking wierd, even wierded as parts of the puzzle started to fall back into place, and even then it made less sense then before!
