Cindy smiles at Helena as she asks her question. "A little." The girl seems to be tired, too, though not quite as much as Helena is.

No one seems particularly enthusiastic to start conversation, and Jasmine is meditating herself by the time Helena starts. Once again the flame is easily reached, perhaps faster than before, but this time it seems more fickle, answering her commands only sluggishly. Still, it's giving some insight, and Helena feels that there's another minor trick or two within arms reach.

Helena works on her control rather then the corruption slowly eating its way through her soul, trying to direct to ebb and flow of power and to give it shape as it moved. Sluggish or not, it seemed to be more in control than it ever had been, reflecting her progress.

Helena can feel the flame on the verge of changing yet again, but it remains the reddish shade from before, and continues responding to her sluggishly.

She wakes from the trance just as the caravan is stopping for lunch. The wagons stop one by one and soon a fire is made for Helena and Jasmine and Cindy to do the cooking.

Helena sighs and hops out of the wagon, getting lunch started and working on a spicier dish then usual, something energizing and easy on the stomach with a good amount of salted meat and onions. Potatoes would have made it all so much more delicious, but the odd root was nowhere to be found. Shaking her head and yawning again, Helena stopped for a moment to stretch and twist, trying to wake up a little more fully.

The drivers talk amongst themselves during the lunch, and a couple even compliment the food Jasmine and Cindy helped to make.

Cindy sits next to Helena as they eat, mostly quiet as usual. "This is really good."

Helena smiles and blushes a little at the compliment, looking up at Cindy. "Thanks" She says smiling her way. Looking at Jasmine, she chuckles. "I never thought I would be cooking my way to progress" she says finally laughing a little, more awake then before and glad to have something warm in her stomach.

Turning to Cindy again, Helena wonders how to get through to the girl. "What are you good at, surely there must be something you take pride in being able to do well." She asks after a moment.

Cindy hesitates, looking uncertain. "Oh, a little this, a little that. I did odd jobs in the guild, but mostly I was out in the streets... you know, pickpocketing and other stuff."

Helena widens her eyes a bit. "Sounds rough on a kid, but you're still around, you must have be good at your job!" Helena smiles and gives her arm a playful poke. "Currently I'm good at getting in trouble and poking things I shouldn't" She says after thinking for a minute and laughing.

After finishing eating, Helena rises slowly and begins to clean up, collecting dishes and getting everything ready to move again, asking the men if they enjoyed lunch and being nothing but nice to everyone.

Many of the men smile at Helena, and they all thank her politely. As the caravan gets moving again, Cindy is smiling and looking at Jasmine a lot, who manages to remain nonchalant.

Helena looks at Cindy, then at Jasmine, the back and forth between the pair. "What are you two planning......" She says, narrowing her eyes.

Helena glares at Jasmine, wondering what kind of surprise the succubus had in store for her. Still, whether it mattered or worried her at all, Helena was once again overcome with the need to move around and soon found herself walking alongside the wagon, stretching her legs and enjoying the open air.

The forests of the past days have turned into grasslands and farms, and Helena can see numerous farmhouses in the distance, as well as several farmers closer. Strike seems inconvenienced by the change in landscape, though she hasn't fallen behind, yet.

Helena comforts the Spider as best she can over their shared link, talking to her as she walked for a bit and admired the new landscape, happy to be out of the forest. After a bit, she hopped back up into the wagon and passed the time by introducing the mighty and feared card game, "Go Fish" to Cindy.

Cindy picks the game up quickly, managing to defeat both Helena and Jasmine, embarrassingly enough. Cindy is no longer looking at the succubus constantly, but she seems to be smiling all the time.

Helena ponders that cursed smile, knowing she was going to either enjoy or hate what was coming. Regardless, she was handily defeated by Cindy, who she was certain had to be cheating somehow. It didn't matter and Helena ended the game with a tune or two, waiting for night to fall and just goofing about until it was time to prepare dinner.

Mostly for her own amusement, Cindy starts juggling several small stones, managing to keep as many as five in the air at one time. It's not long until the caravan stops, and once again the drivers make a fire for the three woman to use for their cooking.

Helena hops out and waits for the fire to be done, before making something a little more filling. Not salty this time, but sweet and tender, using whatever supplies she had on hand, but more specifically adding apples to the mix, the sweet flavor mixing with the heavier food teasingly. Wondering what meat should go into it, Helena finally throws up her hands and lets Jasmine decide, unable to make up her own mind, but not before throwing a healthy amount of cabbage into the mix.

Finished cooking, she takes her serving and takes her spot by the fire, eating happily and relaxing, getting ready for tonights training.

Jasmine adds lamb meat to the mix, the sheep adding their own flavor to the food. The food is tasty as usual, as Cindy comments readily. "Did you used to be cook or something?"

Helena laughs at the comment before shaking her head. "No, I live alone, and I picked it up out of boredom and curiosity more then anything"

Finishing up, Helena sets her bowl aside and stares into the flames. Waiting for the others to eat their fill, Helena shakes the thoughts of her old life from her mind and cleans up before going to take a spot in the wagon and closing her eyes. *Shall we keep at it?*
