I can never be sure if you're always trying really hard to come off as a jackass, or if you're just this way naturally.
I specialize in smartass, not jackass. Ironically, people are negging for the least offensive things I do. I saw no comments about my exclamations of this invisible character having no social skills, but suddenly point out their obvious mistake and they get defensive, but in being defensive, they claim me wrong. So I went out of my way to show that they are the ones that are incorrect.
So although I am definitely continuing when there is no reason to, you see yourself that you are doing the same. I have plenty of friends who pull this whole "No you're wrong, no you're wrong" and continue it over and over until they are finally proven wrong themselves and turn around with "So? Why'd you make it such a big deal?" That is what just happened.
Also, I don't really see Oni as whining, but I guess anyone who is reading this would assume that's because I'm doing something quite similar. But I guess forgive me if going "Wait, what? How is this nonsensical?" in reference to what is essentially an attack makes me the villain
