The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I cook a lot of Thai. :3

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I have a cousin who's been living there for a few years, so she's told us all about how good the food was and how friendly the people were, but I can tell it was an understatement.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Nunu does not like thai food; it is bland and what flavour there is does not suit my pallet.

Bland?!? BLAND?!? I ate the little orange thing and about flooded my new contacts out with tears from spice!

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

thats something else i have against it, although its more of an asian food thing in general.

as you said, you just ate a little orange... thing.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I don't know about the food without any of the spices/curry they add, but those spices/curries... you fart fire, piss lava and shit fiery, spiked bricks.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Thai food tends to be rather spicy.

Because the layman cannot handle this, it tends to be 'watered down' so to speak in many places.

The result is something that often only tastes of coconut and/or the meat.

Good thai food is not bland.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

all these things may way heavily on my decision to dislike thai food. However every thai restaurant i've been to has been mediocre to me (very important 4 letters there) at best, so my opinion is probably still quite well founded.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

also chibi i tried those scones you gave me the recipe for, they where quite nummy thank you very much (although i think i accidentally over mixed the flour and butter a wee bit)

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

All that means is you have to try again and make more scones.

I love when my radio soundtracks my Geist game.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

It's nearly been a week.

I love DDO. Glad i redownloaded it <3

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Does it have gameplay after about level 5 yet?

I mean without buying new quest trees from the store.

I know the quest tree is kinda limited, and sometimes it's really hard to solo even with the 'solo' difficulty. I've hopped on a few times the last few weeks after I found Exteel loosing it, and I do admit that DDO is still good, just it does take a bit of friend power to get anyway.

PS. Btw, if anyone wants into the invite to the old guild group, Tendrils of Xalphin, PM me, I got the leiutennant rights on one of my chars.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Eeehh..... I liked DDO, but I think my problem was that we're all on at different times, so I never really got into a group with the people on here who played, and the random groups I joined pretty much sucked - they all either wanted to do the 'safest' quests possible, or hard-as-balls ones that I had no right going on at my level.

Personally, I've been playing more Guild Wars lately. It's not my own account (it's my brother's), which sucks, but at the same time, I'm the only one who has hopped on it in the last year, year-and-a-half. I'm hoping to get my own copy this Christmas, though. Definitely going to look for a bundle pack, too - hell, if I find a really good deal, might have to buy it.
Only have Prophecies and Nightfall, which are fun, but I want my Assassin :(
Ritualist may be fun to try as well.

Of course, I also am looking forward to GW2, but I'll have to try that one before I go buying it. It all sounds good in theory, but theory has let gamers down before.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I love Symphony X. One of the best things to come out of New Jersey. Paradise Lost is, in my opinion, their best album yet.
I probably said this before, but I just felt the need to say it again.

And I've played Guild Wars for a while, but I only went as far as Factions. The other add-ons just weren't worth it, in my opinion. Played a Necromancer/Mesmer I think they're called. Those were good times.
