Seeing Moira come in to sever the ropes holding her, Lynne tried to escape by pulling away from the coil that was entangling her, forcing the ropes holding her to stretch taut. The way the ropes were snaking around made them hard to predict, so maybe this would at least help Moira hit them.

Sanae cringes, shifting her grip on her sword... she steps to the side, shifting her weight and leaping at the rope creature, swinging her sword across, trying to cut the ropes that are tangled around Caitlyn at their source...

The girls fail in their attacks, the demon dodging or resisting the effects as it continues to attack. Sanae has some bad luck as she stumbles in her attack, tripping over one of the coils on the floor. As Sanae starts to get tied by the ropes, Moira also finds herself harshly whipped by the rope demon, the ropes stinging and ripping some of her clothes as they start to tie her. Neither Lynne nor Caitlyn are able to make progress on their binds as they tighten around them.

No... Someone, help! I can't get free! Caitlyn screamed as she tried desperately to slash at the ropes that held her increasingly tightly.

Moira grunts, frustrated and flush, knowing that her struggles are being watched closely by some jerks getting their jollies from her misfortunes. She hacks and twists to get free of the ropes, refusing to cry out.
