Synthia felt the world fading again, as the game faded out. She felt a little tired and yawned as she stepped out. She could tell it would be dark outside soon, and there weren't too many people around now, as the day shift was leaving and the night shift was heading in.

"Hello?" Synthia looked around but saw no one in the room with her. "Oh... hmmm... I guess everyone's gone home then. Synthia gathered her things and began to walk down the hall, paying close attention to the other people walking about.

Synthia noticed all the techs were friendly as usual, but she couldn't shake the thought that something seemed of. She shook her head and dismissed it as the twilight of the day ending combined with her tiredness and thoughts of the EGG.

She had no problems heading home, wondering when she should return.

Synthia wrote down everything pertinent that she could remember, but left out specific details concerning her sexual activities, choosing to focus on the amazing way the game could alter perception of time and space, as well as altering emotion, creating the feeling of a loving marriage in a matter of minutes. From these notes she intended to write a full review of the technology, but she was mentally exhausted, and not prepared to write it all out now. Besides, she would be returning soon, the day after tomorrow would work best, and she needed to have a complete picture. She also vowed that she would need to do her own out of game investigating of the facility. There had to be something beyond the surface here. Max had been way to vague in some of his descriptions about the AI, and the technology, while amazing, had a creepy side to it as well. It didn't take much imagination to know that Chamber Corporation could misuse such technology. There was a big story here, she was sure of it.

Synthia fell asleep finally, dreaming of Gerald for a bit, then later dreaming of her false memories of her in game son, Bryndan.

Two days later, Synthia arrived early at the testing center, determined to get an early start.

Synthia returned to Chamber Corp, happy to see it busy and cheerful, much like when she first arrived. Already a tester, she was able to easily enter and was welcomed as she was shown to an open testing room.

She started up the EGG, finding a few new options available.

"Hmmm... Computer, you forgot to record my level 3 sword expertise, let's not forget that now."

Synthia selected herself, updating her stats, and then scanned the other options.

"Hmmm, let's try something different,"

For an opponent, she chose to create her own: Naga Dominatrix (boss).

She wanted it to be powerful, so she made it level 5.

Finally, she selected "S&M Dungeon" as her setting.

Satisfied with her selection, she clicked the confirmation button on the screen.

The EGG starts to fade out, going to the normal senseless void. However, when it returns, it seems that something must not have worked, since she's right in the normal EGG again, nothing having changed except the screen.

"Critical Error: Bug report has been submitted."

After a few moments the screen changes to a new notice. "We regret to inform you that the 'Quick Battle' system seems to be broken at the moment. We're unsure as to how long it'll take to fix, but normal gameplay and other options should be unaffected."

Synthia frowned. This seemed to be the first time the EGG had disappointed her, but she shrugged nevertheless and loaded her old game.

Synthia is a little disappointed at the EGG failing her, but at least the world loads up without a problem. Finding herself back in the world, she notices as it cracks and fades back to black for a moment before reloading again.

Confused, she waits a moment before a screen pops up.

"An error has occurred, we're sorry any problems caused, however, gameplay should be able to resume with no changes. Please review the settings below to make sure they are the same as you entered."

As Synthia overlooks the settings, everything seems proper, although the difficult has been changed from normal to hard, though if she isn't careful in looking over it, she may not notice.

Synthia changes the settings from hard BACK to normal. She doesn't want her story to derail into an orgy of failure. She wanted a fair chance against the monsters.

"What's wrong with this thing today?" she murmured to herself, as she changed her settings back to her original set and clicked to confirm.

Synthia changes her settings back to normal, saving them as the game returns back to normal. Max and Gerald seemed to be discussing good ways to perhaps get around the traps that might be laid.

"Well...it's hard to tell, but I think the most like problems may be ambushes by monsters." Max finally finishes. "I think we might be able to do something about that."

"Oh...yes, it's not prefect though, but it's better than nothing." He says, seeming slightly distracted, like he's not paying full attention.

"But regardless, I don't want to give that monster any time to recover, we should probably hurry and destroy him before there's any time for him to recover his full strength."

Synthia nodded her agreement. "Yes, let's find out where he's reforming and put an end to him. We don't want him rebuilding another army at the expense of all those women."

She shuddered at the thought of what it might be like to be one of those poor souls, trapped in a sea of swarming, slimy tentacles - just another notch on the belt of some fiend who would never stop abusing her body. It was intense, and undeniably erotic, but not anything like the end she envisioned for herself in this game.

Synthia, Max, and Gerald moved forward, exiting the forest and approching the imposing entrance to the mountain fortress. Tall spires rose from the mountain itself, an impressive gatehouse, complete with evil spikes, marked the entrance. The gate was up, almost as if it were welcoming them.

The party nodded to each other and moved forward, not at all surprised when the gate shut after them, locking them in the fortress.

"No turning back now." Max said.

Ahead of them was a passageway into an antechamber, it was large, impressive, lit by magic, the party saw three doors, carpets leading up to them.

They weren't alone though, and before long a massive rope demon formed in front of them, ropes crawling from grates in the floor, it was huge, twice as tall as Gerald at the least, the rope body thick as it lashed it's arms, preparing to fight off the intruders.

Synthia grinned, happy to be back in battle alongside Gerald. She let her magic power infuse her blade with an enchanting glow, and then leaped into action, springing herself towards the rope demon without fear. It may have been big, but she was used to ropes by this point, and they didn't make her feel afraid.

She hewed at the first strands she passed by, intent on rolling and tumbling past to the other side of the demon after she made her first contact.

Synthia finds herself suddenly speeding up as she attacks the demon, Max having cast a spell. She manages to attack the demon twice as she leaps past it, only landing one hit, as Gerald does the same. The demon attacks the pair with it's massive arms, landing a hit on Synthia as she becomes entangled. Synthia's harness tightens as she starts to feel aroused.

(Max cast Haste. This doubles the number of attack, and gives a +2 to attack and defense for 3 rounds.)

Synthia struggles against the ropes, using her knowledge of knots and anticipating the most likely ways it wanted to tie her up. She would escape from the ropes, and if she did it on the first shot, she would attack again, using Max's spell to her advantage.
