I don't know if you know this, but I've been putting any translations I can find into the threads they belong. It's the same game and will remain in the same discussion like every other thread

But let me be clear with the details for fairness sake. Are you saying that the people who download your link are only getting translation files and they should have the game already in order to put them in? Or are you saying people who dl your file will get the full game in English?

What? It's the full game...

But, I can't see any text at all. Do I need to be in a specific locale? Or have a certain font or RTP installed?

No try going into the game.ini file and changing the dll in the config to 2J instead of 2E. If that doesn't work, take the RGSS102J.dll file from another PRGMaker XP game and put it in, it should work then.

Well, I got it to work. But I had to change it from 2J to 2E, rather than from E2 to J2...

Yeah that was my fault, you CAN do it the 2E way but a lot of the formating and non unicode characters won't show up, if you can get the dll file from another RPGMaker XP game and copy it over and change the ini back.

Hold on, I'll post an updated version with the fix. I just hope people keep reading the thread if they get the same error, lol.

Updated my earlier post too, can't update the OP, you guys will have to wait on Toxic to update it, or keep reading the thread like everyone else xD

Anyway, now that it's fixed, merry christmas. Back to lurker mode.

Because the game was very complex as I can remember. XD
The Japanese I can not google translate and haunted as well em ...
often NEN mysterious guess from the read. XD

Then this game goes in this game thread, absolutely no reason for it to get it's own, and I'm getting a sense of deja vu from this discussion

Getting "Invalid access to memory location" error on attempting to run the fixed version of this. First time I've seen this error in an RPG maker game, any ideas?

okay man, so you gotta delete the DLL file that comes with it, and you gotta replace it with the one that the one guy supplied. and you know man, do what Monkey said.

EDIT- Ninja'd by Rrezz, nevermind.

Seeing a full translation pop up out of nowhere is pretty awesome. Makes me feel good about the dedication some people have (even though many would mock what that dedication is to).

Actually, our translators aren't mocked at all in our community, if any, they're HELLA praised.

I was more meaning by the larger part of society as a whole, which mocks anything and everything, really. I don't think anyone in this community would mock someone for translating any H-game, even a 'bad' one.

I agree. I don't know why anyone would feel a translator would be mocked here.
