Re: Question and Discussion: Futa, why do some people seem almost afraid of it?
I used to dislike futa as well. I used to only like yuri. Then I realised that yuri wasn't popular enough in hentai and such you were going to miss out.
I got into liking futa because it happened to be alongside other fetishes I had developed. While I'd prefer yuri over futa, I'd take futa over heterosexual.
But, let me explain my views.
Futa is disliked, in my eyes, because many people see it as an indicator of being a homosexual. This (at least how it's been explained to me) is because, while heterosexual porn is a man and woman having sex, that's seen as 'natural'. When it's futa (which is a make believe creation, while technically exist in real life, they'd look nothing like the vast majority of futas in hentai) it's a chick with a dick having sex with (usually) another woman. Now the detractors of futa would say this is a sign of homosexuality because the viewer of the futa hentai ('you') is not comfortable enough with their sexuality in that they can't stand a man on screen. So they swap the man out for a woman with a penis and claim that they're not gay because it's a woman with a dick instead of a man. The idea being that the viewer is so scared of having attraction towards a man, that they remove it from the equation, but deep down still crave to see penetration and a penis.
However, the problem with this argument is that I've seen it used for yuri as well. Where people have said that I'm a homosexual for liking yuri, as I can't stand to see a man so I'm over compensating. I am also in belief that the detractors who use this as an argument are usually the type of person who "self-inserts" as the man and can't do it with any other character. This is also used as a argument to claim the person who likes futa is transgender or homosexual as well, claiming that the person self-inserts as the futa in order to pretend to be a woman, but with a penis to understand how it feels to climax. This goes on.
More stuff obviously progresses from this idea, which has gotten into silly territory when I've discussed it with people.
But, I look at it like this. Men have a penis, therefore, even if they're a virgin, they know what it's like to have an orgasm. I don't think there are many men who have not masturbated in their life (and technically many do without knowing it), so it makes sense when it comes to hentai to understand the enjoyment. Men also like penetration scenes and ejaculation scenes. However, many men do not like other men. Either they don't like the male form, the male voice, the grunting or the idea of another man fucking a hot woman, cartoon or not. Therefore, a woman with a penis doing it covers all bases.
It goes even further in that the futanari can then be penetrated in either the vagina or the anus, whilst still doing stuff with her/his/it's penis.
Basically, people think that by distorting what is 'natural' then you're basically doing something or being attracted to something which isn't 'normal'. Getting turned on watching a man fuck a woman, in modern society, is considered to be 'normal'. Watching a chick with a vulva and a dick fucking another chick or another futa is considered 'not normal'. Same goes with stuff like monster, inflation, gore, vore, cervix penetration, stomach bulge etc etc.
That's it. It's not considered 'normal', so it's attacked. At the end of the day, futanari's are not real. You cannot be biologically a woman and have a big, normal sized penis which produces sperm, whilst also having a vulva and uterus and being able to get pregnant. Sex based genetic defects exist, but they don't exist in this way. Just like you can't penetrate the cervix (well you can, but good luck surviving the punches and screams) in real life but you can in hentai with no problem whatsoever.
Oh and fear of porn escalation, that's another reason.
But, if people want a guide on "What's Gay?" then I do this.
[The following is a joke, but if you want to take it as a stance to have, go for it!]
1. If it has fewer dicks than heterosexual, it's not gay (yuri)
2. If it has the same number of dicks as heterosexual, it is not gay, or is at least as gay as heterosexual porn (futa, hetero, monster, beast, etc)
3. If it has more dicks than heterosexual scenes, it is gayer. However, there are levels to this. If it's double penetration with two men on a woman, it's not as gay. If it's double penetration with two futas on a woman, it's slightly less gay than if it was two men. If it's two men/two futas double penetrating a futa/man, then it's gay.
So, basically, count the dicks and check to see what the scene focuses on. If it's a bukkake scene or an orgy, then it's fine if it focuses on the women and the dicks aren't shown a lot. But if the focus is on the dick, then it's gay.
