Did you crash somewhere? Where was it? I downloaded all the files and reassembled the project, it seems to work fine for me.

No, it's when I convert the xml files back into lsb files. Typically, I always got a constant result screen. It was the same every time I used it on all the files.

Now however, THIS shows up and I have absolutely no idea what it entails. This only happens when I use the files in the Google Doc Folder. My back-ups don't have this.

Could be my paranoia and the whole thing is a false alarm, but I'm still worried.

I see the problem. It's a broken reference in 00000031 that actually got in there with the September 27 update. I'll have a fix in a few minutes.

edit: holy crap no it didn't, that broken reference has been in there in every single translation since 2015.

edit: holy shit it's broken in the original Japanese. uhh. wtf.

It's referencing a command with the ID 1376 in 00000031, which doesn't exist. Go into 00000031.xml and check out the part around line 16247. See how the command IDs go up one by one until then? Id="1371", then Id="1372", Id="1373", Id="1374"... and then there's a visible break in the file where someone hacked a piece of it out, and it continues with Id="1377"

Now, apparently you have an .lsb script that's trying to call the nonexistent Command 1376 in 00000031. The weird thing is, I don't have an .lsb file with that name (the long Japanese name in your screenshot), which is probably why I haven't been getting these errors. Where the hell did you get that file from? It's not in the translation files, as far as I can tell.

Fixing the error should be easy, I can just put a dummy command 1376 (that doesn't do anything) in 00000031. But I'd really like to know what this file is that's trying to call it, first.

Memory, I've managed to replicate your issue, it's a locale problem. I don't have an easy fix for it, fortunately one is not needed: as far as I can tell, your files will still assemble/disassemble flawlessly (despite the error messages), with the possible exception of the five files with Japanese names. I checked those five files and none of them seem to have anything translatable, so we shouldn't need to touch them in any case.

What I'm saying is feel free to ignore those error messages. They shouldn't cause any problems

Sooo... we've just had an impassioned debate about the term Meat Toilet, which is one of the classes in the game. (If that surprises you: welcome to Princess Sacrifice )

My point of view is that Meat Toilet is a terrible Engrish translation that got popularized through a bunch of doujin fan-translators seeing "肉便器" (literally Meat Toilet in Japanese) and translating it word-for-word. It's an actual mainstream phrase in Japanese, but not one in English. You can tell by the way that it only ever appears in doujin fan-translations in English.

English has plenty of terms that are good translations for the phrase: Cum Dumpster might be the closest, but Cumslut, Cocksleeve, Fucktoy would all work as class names too.

Anyway, I'd like to rename the Meat Toilet class in the game to one of the above terms, but I want to get people's thoughts on it first. Meat Toilet: yea or nay? Hot or not? I think it sounds amateurish (from a translation POV), but if folks are in love with it I can learn to live with it...

Oh, you. XD Don't you know the more degrading the title, the more awesome the pleasure? (Or however that went...)

We could also call it 'Toilet Princess' if need be.
便器 = Toilet
姫 = Princess

My opinion: I would go with this. It's like a step down from Sacrifical Princess. Instead of being a princess that needs sacrificing to appease the gods, Feena is now a princess who needs to appease lustful men/monsters.

EDIT: This is actually how it is written in the JPN files. I copy-pasted the Class title, '便器姫'.

Hmm, I do actually like Toilet Princess a lot more than Meat Toilet. It's cute the way it refers back to her original title of Sacrificial Princess.

Meat Toilet in English really just sounds like an avant-garde art exhibit or something.

Either go with Meat Toilet since it's the standard Japanese term or use a localized one like Cum Dumpster. The other ones just sound worse. Literally any other "Toilet" variant sounds scatological since they aren't familiar to people like Meat Toilet is.

Gotta love that in Japanese the same kanji can mean Princess or Prostitute depending on context.

If you want to go for a title referencing the original title of Sacrificial Princess, you could do it as follows:

1) Go to

You must be registered to see the links

2) Find a 2 or more word synonym
2) Replace the appropriate word with Princess

So you can get names such as "Fallen Princess", "Loose Princess", "Princess of the Evening", "Princess of the Streets" etc.

Or just not be as classy and go for "Slutty Princess".

I wouldn't go with "Meat Toilet" at any rate. It sounds terrible in English - more something out of Lovecraftian horror rather than anything else (though I suppose there are tentacles in this game...)

To tell the truth I've been dragging my feet through the mud and procrastinating on this translation (also my first)

Huh. No error message? Is your system in Japanese locale?

I've had my share of crashes with this game, but I always got an error message.

Also, try running it as an administrator, the readme file says that might help.

Alright! We're making very nice progress with the translation, but we find ourselves needing an Editor, someone who will read our drivel and fix it, and/or tell us what's wrong with it. I thought I'd put out the call.


Why being an editor is awesome:
You get early access to all our work! There are already quite a few scenes done that no one outside the project has seen.


Why being an editor is not awesome:
The writing is (hopefully) not as good as it'll be once you're done with it. You might find bugs. I'll keep arguing with you about stupid nitpicky shit.


You don't need to know Japanese, but an editor needs to be very proficient in English. I can't stress this enough. To be a good editor, you need to have impeccable grammar, an instinct for tone and cadence, a good feel for the "flow" of a scene, and lots of patience. It helps if you find the game's premise hot, since you'll be critiquing a lot of very rapey scenes. We need to know if a sentence breaks the mood or just doesn't work or whatever, which is much harder to judge if it squicks you out. If you think you'd be a good fit, please let me (or Memory, or Divadeo) know! Or just post here in the thread, that works too.
