OOC

Re: OOC

Going to check the rest of the forum then hit the hay. Night fellas!

Re: OOC

Wow, I thought I'd had some bad streaks, but Ashely just managed to lose half her health without doing a single point of damage to that tank...

Re: OOC

Yeah the dice don't seems to like you, Ashley, or Ava.

Re: OOC

So... is there actually supposed to be a monster just before the stairs in every case or am I ridiculously unlucky in that regard? :p

Floor 1 - fled vines into stairwell.
Floor 2 - fled tank into stairwell.
Floor 3 - beat sandworm, encountered pit-thing while resting, fled into stairwell.
Floor 4 - beat kracken, fled to just-outside-stairwell, recovered one and walked in.

Re: OOC

No there is a "boss" monster for each stairwell. Their HP is always 5 or 6 and they are basically a more powerful version of the monsters/bad guys that are in that floor.

Re: OOC

I kinda figured but with some of the luck I've had I couldn't be sure. :p

Re: OOC

Uh... how does a slime "slime" my legs when it's on the ground, and I'm up on the bed? Doesn't it have to jump up to me to get me? Or can they teleport?

Re: OOC

I'm guessing it has something to do with dice rolls. Although they've been noted to actually jump at things a bit, or just cuz they're a slime doesn't mean they're relatively slow, it could have disappeared under the bed as far as you know, then you saw it shoot up at your legs after having crawled up the underside before you had a chance to react.

Re: OOC

I was half asleep while typing those, I am sorry.

Re: OOC

Ugh, I read a 400 page book today in addition to going to school. I feel like this portends a horrible time in the indeterminate future where I run out of good books easily available to me. :/

This strikes at a bad time because I'd usually be reading a book right now, between posts, and I find myself lacking any new books to read in my house.

The horror! I may have to re-read something, but I fear that the books I own may have been re-read to death and I find myself incapable of reading the same book straight through twice.

Re: OOC

Oh it isn't that bad... I've discovered that I haven't yet listened to the "wait wait don't tell me" podcast yet this week, and regular music will have to do for whatever time remains afterward. And if things get horrible I have the entire "discworld" series of 35 books as audiobooks... it'll be pretty hard to wear those out - it would take 13 days 24/7 listening to get through them all.

Re: OOC

Lol, 10 of them. Good luck thetwo.

Re: OOC

That's not actually Dr D is it? If so, he went through the game pretty fast.

Re: OOC

Well, two weeks and more then 160 actions...
