Re: LEWD, an online erotic text adventure
I think my writing is very different(You'll need to go to the wilderness area to see more of it. Just 1/3rd of the starting area is my writing), especially the characters I make. It's also not furry or transformation focused.
The only thing I think I took from CoC is that the focus is on erotica, so I'm very curious as to why you'd like erotica but not like this~
The advantage of multiplayer is that all the players can not just change the grid(which would be something like a quest, maybe building a bridge or something to connect two areas, for example, with a quest given out so players can extend it a tile at a time until it finishes. Then you can go back later and see it changed), it's that the NPCs can react to what people do with them.
For example, I was thinking of something in the wilderness, that if one player ends up doing something it could have negative consequences. The plantgirls could get sick, for example. There will be entirely different writing for that, and someone will need to fix it.
Players actions can keep changing the story around, so whenever you log in again, you can see different things.
Sure, it could just be random, but randomness can be extremely annoying when the dice never rolls what you are wanting. This makes a procedural story, basically.
And yes, I would like to have players make their own content. I'm going to try my best to make tools as simple to use, despite how powerful they are.
I would like to at least have something where a player can have their own ship, and write their own NPCS in it.
Maybe you're traveling around, dock to a station, and can leave your ship unlocked so others on that station can go look inside of it and see what you have. Again, that's something that can make the content really dynamic.
Hm. Interesting. It is an erotica focused game, like Corruption of Champions, but what is it you don't like about that? One thing though: I can't stand Corruption of Champions. I hate everything about that game. And, this one seems similar to it, except things happen on a space station.
But, maybe I haven't played enough to see the difference. Anyway, I've got a pretty sizable backlog of games and things waiting for me, so I unless something catches my interest right away, I move on.
What advantage does the multiplayer aspect to this have? I notice there's a chat, and then you mentioned the grid possibly changing, so maybe people will write their own stuff? I tend to think I wouldn't be interested in what players would write though. Maybe I'm wrong about that.
