John's Revenge?

Aperently, this chick cheated on this guy and screwed him over. Whatever, you can read the details of whatever it is in the link below.

Anyways, what's actually intersting, is how he is doing the revenge. Basicly, he wants to humiliate her by posting some 'video'. I am assuming this video is bad for her, fun to watch, if you catch my drift?

The catch is you can only unlock these videos by getting people to click on the link. So, as more people click, you will eventually see all the videos.

First, I gotta say this is pretty creative revenge. Not the best, but points for originality. Second, I wanted to discuss the viability of his 'marketing scheme', as in how viable is the tecnique he's using to other markets.

I'm really not sure if I approve of this. And its not that original cause I saw a very similar setup awhile ago, but different girl. But I mean, how do we know this guy is telling the truth, all we got is his word to go on on the internet, and even if none of it is true (aka, just some people trying to post porn) it still seems weird to me.

The posting of nude photos/videos of someone without their permission is illegal. Whether or not this should be allowed because we all want to see some naked woman is a good question, even though she'd be horribly embarassed and ashamed that she's been plastered all across the internet.

And is it not just as easy to go looking for naked pictures that were put up consensually? There's millions of porn sites, and hentai, and everything, why do we have to add to this girl's, whom we don't even know, shame.

And plus... the guy sounds like a prick.

I agree with that, I can't really take someone's side if they can at least spell their argument. Also, yeah, bit of an asshole.

I was posting this more out of curiosity than anything, since I hadn't seen anything like this at all. So there are a lot of these? That makes this seem really stupid now. Oh well, whatever, mods feel free to close if you feel it necessary.

I don't really care about the whole revenge part. The only thing I notice is that the pictures of "Julie" seem a bit... shiny. Almost like how porn pictures have a sheen on the girls because of the perfect lighting, makeup, and all that junk. I'm not exactly convinced that that isn't just a clever way of popularizing porn.

And megamickel and rule are right, this is a new porn marketing strategy, lots of poeple get linked meaning they roll in the money.

Even /b/ is getting flooded with these stupid threads.

While I am unsure on where I stand on the law against putting naked pictures of people on the internet without their consent, I definitely agree with the "there's tons of easier-to-get and superior porn out there, so really this is quite unnecessary" argument.

I also agree with nunu that there's something hot about things you're not allowed to do, which I assume a lot of people share and is why hidden sex in public places is as popular as it is (i.e. broken down/stopped elevators, airplane toilets, secluded places in parks, beaches...)

Sorry guys, marketing ploy or not, I agree with Sin. Even if it is a ploy marketing scheme (which I believe) and therefore legal, to me the idea of posting something like this to embarrass the girl is just creepy.

I would agree or disagree... on many things.

For me to agree, if the girl willingly let him take those pics come on... really you wouldt think he would show people? I mean she is just asking for it if she let him do some thing like that, but it does show how low the man is...

I would disagree, if the girl never let the pics be taken if a spy cam or hidden cam during sex would be very wrong.
