Nothing is wrong with the word Fag as nothing is wrong with faggots.
I mean, unless they're being faggots, but that's completely their fault.

To me, it's the gay equivalent of the 'N' word. I know that may not be a common perception, but there ya go. Anyway, my only big issue with the word is when people use it as a homophobic slur. It's other uses (sticks and cigarrettes), don't really bother me, as that's just a freaking noun. Or used in chan-speak.

It is used as a common derogatory term not affiliated with sexual orientation. What irritates me is the high and mighty assholes who try to give me a hard time cuz I said a video game was gay or something because they're ignorant in more ways than I care to describe, aside from the fact they do more harm than good to the cause they're trying to make. As for someone who specifically uses it against someone who actually is homosexual? It's not the word that should piss you off, but the fact they're giving you shit.

Heh, probly best to forget that movie. I mean even the 3 minute scene dedicated to breasts can be overseen by the many many other movies that have nice breasts in them.

And friend of mine bought it and was watching it up in the barracks when I saw it. Shit movie but we laughed our asses off making fun of it the whole time.

However I think the word has moved on from being a homophobic slur. It's more just a simple insult to someone else these days much like 'gay' has. Both are words that have changed a fair bit over the course of the English language, I mean once upon a time gay meant happy.

Even homosexual just meant monogamous. Either you listen to the context argument, in which those words have grown to mean more, or you listen to the definition argument, in which those words weren't racial or homophobic in the first place.

The thing is, I use faggot and nigger all the time. My victims are almost always straight white guys. And if someone questions me, I tell them my gay black friend said I could use both those words to my hearts content, because it weakens their offensive meaning.
