okay so that took longer than i thought it would, but i blame that on bugs...

now i'm sure there are much much better ways to code this, but my way works and thats really all that matters isn't it.

on the downside if you want to add a new object it has to be named and placed inside all five entries, two in each button and onces in the actions of frame 2.

the change in girl is fairly simple though. just two frames and the button flips between them.

It seems I will need some tutoring in the Actionscript ways. Looks pretty difficult, I might need some help figuring out how to build coding. Or, is it pretty simple, and just LOOKS complicated?

code always looks complicated...

once you know what does what thats actually really simple. the thing is though everything i programmed for you is terribly inefficient, so i could probably cut the amount of code to one third of what it is (due to all the repeated stuff). that would require much more thought though.

How would I go about learning how to code? I'd like to learn how and at least know what I'm doing while coding. The codes i've used in the game are copy-and-pasted things, sadly.

well i started off with a basic knowledge of coding and from there i just tried to apply that to flash.

given the current interest in flash i suppose i may as well write up a little bit of info on coding.

... have you considered using the flash help file? its quite helpfull.

also part one was put up in blank page yesterday. the flash help itself might be sub standard help because programming is more about a way of thinking than anything else. if you can think right figuring out the rest is just a matter of time.

I'm gonna assume that you typed out your request very, very badly, and aren't actually asking this royally stupid question, and are in fact asking:

"How do I run the game? I downloaded it, and it seems to be a .SWF file."

First option: Your web browser of choice should be capable of handling a ShockWave Flash file. Right-click the .SWF file, choose "Open With...", then "Select the program from a list", and finally choose your web browser from the list that the computer shows.

Second option: Download and install

, or any one of a number of other standalone ShockWave Flash players. Then use it to open the .SWF file.

The Nunu edited one has them but much easier to access. Not bad for a first flash though, if anything everything works as far as clicking and dragging goes...^^;

That is the one I was using. That must be why, I probably was looking for things that weren't there.
