I put together a program to rip the sprites to WEBM.

The next enemies are going to be goblins, called "Goboliy". They're armed with oversized knives, can apparently get erections while standing around, and will doubleteam Aya.

Attacks

Those alredy are implemented, someone can correct me if i'm wrong but the apear in the lizard level after you kill them a couple of times or completed the stage (Don't know the triger for sure)

Converts GameMaker .gmspr files to .webm or .png, depending on whether it's animated or not. I made it for the sole purpose of ripping the sprites from this game, so it may or may not work on other games.

Doh. The next enemy might be the feral pig in "sprite/photo/Entelodon.gmspr" then. Just an image right now though.

Gentlemen,
I've been seeing people talking about events after the fly (Garbage Mountain), ork (Daigo Woodland) and cockroach (Subterranean Tunnel) levels.

How does one trigger these events? I understand that the cockroach one is when you're injured (which I believe means crawling on the ground) and then exiting the level (not giving up).
The fly and ork ones I have no idea about, however. Any ideas? Have I missed any other events?

The ork one is a separate location entirely (you fly there in your ship), available in the latest patch and unlocked after talking to Fio.

The fly hunter and goblin events randomly occur in the garbage mountain and lizard stages respectively -after you've cleared them at least once-. You can keep leaving (back to the ship) and re-entering to try to trigger them.

So how do you get the ork one? I've completed that stage, but obviously this is a different stage that I haven't found yet. When should I talk to Fio to get this one?

I keep getting the following error when the game tries to load up the defeat scenes.

Is this a coding issue, or is this something that I can fix?

Edit: Seems I forgot to tell the update to run as administrator. Disregard this.

I downloaded the latest version of HOTB with the mega link(935.6MB. which i finished downloading) i only got 497MB which is weird. Maybe my internet speed is too slow? Any suggestions on other ways that i can download HOTB? And how can I make wessex voice pack work?

Doh. The next enemy might be the feral pig in "sprite/photo/Entelodon.gmspr" then. Just an image right now though.

The feral pig enemy is shown when talking to Fio before unlocking the orc stage. I think she sends you out there to kill pigs but then tells you to watch out for others who may be in the area, who just so happen to be the orcs.

I don't believe the pigs are in the game yet but it's pretty much something that we already know.

Could you tell me the folders and filenames for the Game Over animations. I've looked everywhere Yesterday for them but could not find'em.

If you're using the program to rip them yourself: all of the files in the game's /anime folder. It's in the base directory instead of /sprite so it's easy to miss. The names are self-explanatory -- "Fly.gmspr" is the fly Game Over, "Org.gmspr" is the orc Game Over, etc.

If you're browsing the archive of content I ripped: they're the files with the "*_*_VID_*.webm" filenames. Everything's organized by the type of enemy, so the fly Game Over is "Bug_Fly_VID_Doggy.webm", the orc is "Humanoid_Orc_VID_WallSex.webm", etc.

The other types are:
"*_*_CG_*.*" : status CGs
"*_*_ECG_*.*" : event CGs
"*_*_EFA_*.*" : event portraits
"*_*_FAC_*.*" : in-game portraits
"*_*_IMG_*.*" : images
"*_*_SPR_*.*" : in-game sprites
"*_*_VID_*.*" : videos (mostly Game Overs)

Actually, the fly hunters and goblins events happen if you go to the same location 3 times in a row, (enter, leave, enter, leave and enter) at least it was always 3 times when I tried it.

Please help,
love the game but when i copy over the folders of the newest translation from wessex it does something to the game. It worked fine before but then it gives me this message when i try to load my game,

plus when i try to start a new game i cant see anything but the text, the screen is black with this message in the top left corner (cant read Japanese)

What did i do wrong?

i did read to fast and didnt see the word save file
here is mine but i think its broken somehow (the game crashes at the fly hunter stage/end scene cg of the goblins and one more end scene cg, everything else should work)

Did someone uploaded the patch from the site? The patch to fix the bugs? I cant download it from the site.

Edit: I downloaded it already. But it seems like every gameover is still bugged i dont know why except for the orc
