Re: Games Discussion Thread
Well, after putting quite a couple of hours into the game, I can safely say that those that loved Assassin's Creed II will love Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. It's not just more of the same like many people claimed. You can, for example, leave the Animus whenever you want and get to know the other Assassins better (whose party banter is almost as good as the one in DA II), and the ability to recruit Assassins and send them on missions is a nice change. You can also collect items and sell them in shops or exchange them in order to unlock better armor, weapons and other goodies.
There are a few downsides though. The controls on the PC are a bit awkward, with no less than four action buttons, which are E, left mouse button, shift and space. On some occasions the textures of buildings are flickering, and generally the game looks less impressive on the PC than it does on consoles (I'm comparing it to AC II, which I played on a friend's PS3). Also the games is really bad with using visible invisible walls to limit where you can go, which can be extremely annoying when you can't reach a view point in the area because you can't reach it by 10 feet.
Also it absolutely consumes both time and any other needs you may have, so watch out. (I haven't masturbated since I started playing on my birthday.)
