For anyone who was excited by Rule's Mortal Kombat trailer...
Warner Brothers apparently picked up the idea for a 9-10 part series of web episodes from the same director, including the actors for Jacks, Scorpion, and possibly Sonya. It might lead to a movie in 2012-ish if successful.

Just for you info peeps, it wasn't a "trailer". It was just a short flick done in like two days with a small budget, which was more or less just about trying to sign a deal.
Now at that time, a third film was already in progress. However, there were complications with Warner Brothers and the company that was signed to the film franchise. So Kevin (creator of that short) had just picked the wrong time to throw out that... incentive... This is also probably why it's being made into the web episodes thing.

I clicked on that video with my roommate watching and immediately went "Oh my god, kusa just posted the fakest fight." Then I finished it and many laughs were had. Then he turned to me and said "That might have been fake."
