Karina Attack: Hit
Damage: 9 * 10 = 90 damage. Dead.

Slime2
Attack: Hit
Stealth: Elizabeth wins (Margin of 1)
Damage: 3 + 9 = 12 * 2 = 24 damage. 15 + 9 = 24 * 2 = 48 damage. Dead.

Slime3
Attack: Hit
Stealth: Elizabeth wins (Margin of 3, amusingly).
Damage: 12 + 9 = 21 * 2 = 42 damage. Dead.

(I'm going to assume that you check on the door since it's what you had originally set out to do and this feels like a filler post otherwise. Feel free to correct me if Elizabeth wouldn't do so.)

Stealth: Success

As Elizabeth settled into her defensive stance, Karina redoubled her offensive. The pregnant noblewoman's gaze shredded the first slime, cutting it into such small pieces that it seemed unlikely to ever reform. With the first slime motionless, the assassin was left to deal with the remaining two. The slimes, with Elizabeth between them and Karina, seemed perfectly accepting of the idea of dealing with her first and surged forward. The Badarian rogue was ready for them, however, her knives swung at the two things with such grace and speed that they seemed almost stunned at ending up cut in half. The heiress knew that they would reform if she left them be, however, so she continued to rain a flurry of cuts upon them while they were still trying to reform. Eventually, they stopped moving.

After confirming that the slimes were, indeed, "dead," the assassin continued with her original objective of investigating the contents of door number one. Cracking it open, she spied something hopeful. The heiress-assassin had found the two guards which had abandoned her, meaning her plan of vengeance was not far from fruition. Perhaps both fortunately and unfortunately, the things they were currently engaged with were not Alice. Riding the two, now naked, men, on the floor were two women that looked somehow familiar to Elizabeth. They were both pale, one had long black hair and the other short. One had an hourglass figure and the other was willowy. Despite those differences, the two seemed to be in-tune at the amount of joy they were taking from the guards. The women were also covered in a familiar slime.

"The men, it's like they have no souls left..." Karina muttered as she tried to peek in alongside the assassin. The two women and men seemed oblivious enough to the world that they wouldn't have noticed anything. Elizabeth had a hard time telling exactly what Karina meant but it was not beyond her perceptive notice that the guards probably did not have any wriggling mutations on their bodies when they still held their jobs, yet did now.

Karina once again waited for Elizabeth's direction as the two overlooked the scene.

(Edit: 2 XP for the slime kills!)

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Hmm, fine, so I don’t have to feel bad about killing them…” Elizabeth muttered under her breath, she already had all the justification she needed to kill them, but it always helped to, if questioned, say you were simply murdering a soulless monstrosity, rather than acting out of cold vengeance. However if the slimy women were content to ride the guards to their death, that would work equally well.

Elizabeth tucked her blades in behind her back, again, not sheathing them, but doing what she could to make them less obvious. “If this goes poorly you get the slim one.” She could have sworn she’d seen the women before, though they could have simply been guests at the party, though they looked a little less… pregnant, than most of those were now.

The Silver assassin did what she could to slip into the room unnoticed, leaving the door just ajar enough for Karina to have a clear line of sight. She wanted to search the room without being noticed, but was not fool enough to take her eyes off of intercourse when the last time that had happened to her, it’d been with the older brother of a land-squid, and besides, if things went poorly it would be better to catch the enemy with their pants down, literally and metaphorically.

Stealth Check
And that's fine this was the plan.

Elizabeth had no issue with sneaking into the room, the other four occupants were thoroughly distracted. Karina stayed back, perhaps for the best given that her condition had done nothing to make her more agile or stealthy and she had never been as sneaky as the Silver assassin in the first place. The heiress kept a careful eye on the group as she crept into the room. With a closer view it was easy to notice that the slime-covered women seemed to be enjoying the act far more than the men were by that point, the two former guards looked to be drained husks of their original selves, with an extra appendage here and there. The two women were hand-in-hand as well, even as they bounced up and down, which could be considered as a bit strange. The daughter of House Silver noticed one final important detail as she advanced into the room warily, Alice's dress on the floor. There was no maid to it, however.

So, the rogue found herself on the edge of a sitting room, two women riding the cowardly former guards for all they were worth, Karina at the door and readied, and as of yet with the element of surprise on her side.

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Upon seeing Alice’s dress, Elizabeth cursed under her breath. Why was it that whenever she wanted to kill someone, she always needed them to do something for her first? Now she needed the guards to tell her what they’d done with her maid, hopefully their intercourse of death hadn’t robbed them of their minds too thoroughly, yet.

Then as the Silver heir was drawing her blades and turning toward the sex in the center of the room. She tilted her head and looked the women over, paying particular attention to the lighter one, it wasn’t Alice was it? Dark hair, light build, slime coating. Elizabeth had never seen Alice completely naked before and the slime coating and frankly the bouncing seemed to make it harder to tell.

Elizabeth had to reposition to get a better viewing angle, slowly creeping along the side of the room. From the side, however, it was obvious that the lighter woman was not Alice, she was much too tall and, from the most intimate detail Elizabeth recalled about the maid, her chest was much more pronounced. From her new spot, the assassin got a better look at the guards. Their eyes were glazed over, they didn't seem to have much sense left in them. From the corner of her eye, the heiress could see Karina fidgeting anxiously.

Before Elizabeth could do anything else, however, a small bumping noise issued from the corner of the room opposite the assassin. A quick glance revealed a simple shuttered door that likely lead to a closet or storage room. The interest of the two naked women appeared to be peaked, however, and they carefully dismounted the utterly defeated guards. The slime covered women rose, still hand in hand, seemingly oblivious of the seed leaking from between their legs. A copious amount of cum, making it look as though they had well and truly sucked the men dry. They began to walk over to the door, leaving Elizabeth with the question of how to handle the development.

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Elizabeth made mental note to stab the guards in the face, just to make sure they didn't feel like getting back up, and because she wanted to, see really wanted to, but with the thumbing and the closet it seemed clear where her little handmaid was, Elizabeth had found her in virtually the same situation in the first place after all. Only this time she had the good sense to distract the naked slime maidens, with their backs turned toward her the Silver heiress crept up toward them. She felt like she should have felt bad about stabbing a nude woman in the back, but she didn't, it was just one of those things that you knew was wrong, but just couldn't seem to care.

Elizabeth gave a quick and silent glance back toward the door, and the fidgeting Karina. Giving a quick nod to the young noble, Elizabeth slowly stood up as silently as she could, raising her knives toward the more boxum slime covered woman, preparing to strike.

Attack: Automatic Success
Damage: 5 + 9 = 14 * 2 = 28 damage. 6 + 9 = 15 * 2 = 30 damage. Dead.

Karina: Telekinesis.
Attack: Hit
Damage: 7 * 10 = 70 damage. Deadx2.

Elizabeth slowly stalked up to the distracted women and, when the opportunity made itself available, deftly placed both of her daggers into the back of one of the two. The assassin's target opened her mouth in surprise, though no sound issued from her lips, twitched a bit, and then fell down. The other one dropped immediately after, dead before she even hit the ground, but Elizabeth hadn't even touched her. Both laid unmoving in front of the closet door, quite obviously finished. It seemed as though the rogue's search for a creature among the invaders that reacted appropriately when stabbed wouldn't end anytime soon.

"Eep! Lady Elizabeth, watch out!" Karina called out from behind her. Spinning to see what was happening, the heiress immediately spotted the source of her counterpart's concern, the two guards were starting to get up. They seemed like zombies as they tried to bring themselves to their feet, unaware of the world around them. Their efforts were ended suddenly, however. A heavy storage chest floated up and into the air and dropped onto the two with a sickening noise and a crash, ending their attempts at upward mobility quite permanently. Then the chest came up again, then down, then up, then down. Sickening squelches issued throughout the room as the chest repeatedly battered the increasingly gory corpses of the two zombified guards. It took Elizabeth a moment to realize that it was a panicked Karina directing the chest and, as a result, making such a mess in the sitting room.

Before the assassin could say anything, however, a naked Alice burst out of the closet and wrapped her in a teary-eyed hug. "I was so scared, milady! They grabbed me and brought me here. I knew you'd rescue me but they wanted to rape me anditwassoscaryandwhoknewwhatbruteslikethatwoulddotosomeonecutelikeme..." Elizabeth's handmaiden became incoherent to the point where the rogue could no longer understand her as the hug tightened around the pregnant daughter of House Silver, though Alice's babbling didn't cease by any degree. Any semblance of order, not to mention the ability to make out any the handmaiden's words, wasn't helped by Karina's continued efforts to turn the two guards into a fine paste.

Elizabeth's burdens only seemed to be growing.

(Gain 2 xp.)

Alice & the Guards
"Oh, come on!" The man using his nubile prize's mouth all but shouted as the knock at the door came. The other guard was a little more sensible, however, and went on alert when the noise had come. "I told you this was going to cause us trouble. Come on, get over here in case our door guest is hostile." The guard gave a resigned sigh and pushed the eager maid off his dick. "Fine. We'll finish this later," he promised the stunned girl before pulling his breeches up and sauntering towards the door. Alice seemed to snap out of whatever lust-induced haze she was in and went scrambling towards the closet door which only produced a derisive laugh from the man. "Oh yeah, you hide in there, that'll keep you safe," he spoke with biting sarcasm as he drew his weapon and moved towards the door. The other guard gave him a look, which he nodded to in response.

Alice had managed to conceal herself in the closet just as the door swung open to reveal two naked and slime-covered women. They grinned seductively at the two guards and began to move towards them. "Oh man, it's our lucky day!" One exclaimed as he began to willingly lead the two women into the room against the other guard's protest. "I don't know, they're covered in that slime." The first guard scoffed. "Oh come on, what do you have against fun? It's just two women who need a little relief after getting slimed, what could go wrong?"

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Everyone just stop!” Elizabeth raised her hands and barked at the two girls. It was hard to tell what was more annoying, Karina’s continued smashing of the deceased guards, or Alice’s endless rambling, but something was turning the heiress’s stomach… then again it could’ve just been the events of the ballroom coming back on her. Elizabeth still had a, taste, in her mouth. She spat onto the guards’ corpses, or whatever remained of them, both to spit on their graves and try and get the taste out of her mouth.

Alice” Authority dripped from Elizabeth’s voice like venom. “It’s nice to see you, don’t bother getting dressed for now, you’re just going to get dirty. I trust your healing powers are still intact?” The noble woman turned to the more girly noble woman just outside the door. “Karina, I’m pretty sure they’re dead, you can stop that. Now get in here and lock the door behind you, see if you can clean things up a bit while you’re at it.” The room was pretty filled with, well, dead things. “Alice; first, that closet you were in, it doesn’t lead anywhere right? Second; there’s a servant’s entrance to the manor correct? And third; where does the servant’s entrance lead, and can you show us to it?” That about summed up everything she needed to know from the young maid, that just left one more thing to be done before they could head out once more.

Karina could you come over here for a second?” Elizabeth’s voice shifted from drill sergeant to sugar queen as she beckoned the noble girl over, sheathing her Long Knife back in its place inside her thigh. She flipped her Short Knife over however, holding it in her right hand pointed down. “I apologize for this in advance.” Elizabeth stepped to Karina doing her best to act before the daughter of house Silrocio had time to think, stabbing her in her pregnant stomach with her Short Knife, quick and short, like popping a balloon.

That’s because Elizabeth is The Batman, also she should have like a +16 bonus to stealth by now. It’d take some serious bad luck on her part, and some good luck on their part for her to lose a stealth check. :p
Also if Alice answers her healing powers have somehow dried up, ignore the last paragraph.

"Er, yes, milady. I am still capable enough to heal." While Alice had responded positively to the first command, the naked maid did take a few glances towards her discarded dress when she had spotted it. Karina did as she was ordered, stepping into the room and locking the door. The daughter of House Silrocio seemed wary of the guards, what little was left of them, tiptoeing around them as though she expected their nearly flattened corpses to jump up and begin chasing her around the room.

"There's nothing else in there, milady," the handmaiden nodded towards the door she had burst out of. "I can put them in there then," Karina said a little shakily. After the maid gave a nod the door opened, a product of the busty noblewoman's powers, no doubt, and then the remains of the guards and the two slime covered women simply levitated themselves into the closet, the door closing behind them. When they were out of sight, Karina gave a sigh of relief. By that point in the day, Alice didn't even begin to question what had transpired. "Yes milady, I could lead you to a servant's entrance. I'm a little off of my bearings but it shouldn't be too difficult to find."

Then came Elizabeth's final 'request,' her change of tone leaving Karina in obvious confusion. The pregnant noblewoman stepped towards the assassin timidly. The look of confusion upon the youthful girl's face deepened at her counterpart's apology, followed by her chocolate eyes widening in shock as the dagger plunged into her stomach. "W-why?" Karina managed to gasp out the question, looking at the wound incredulously, before she fainted and slumped to the ground. The only thing that stopped unconscious girl from slamming into the floor was the quick intervention of the handmaid. "Milady!?" Alice blurted out towards Elizabeth as she helped Karina to the ground. As if on instinct, the handmaiden moved to begin stopping the blood loss and mending the wound.

...

Nearly half an hour later, the maid wiped the sweat off her forehead with her forearm. Alice's hands were a bit too bloody to want to touch any part of her own body with them. "The lady probably won't wake up for a while but she'll survive." Karina laid on the floor, looking as though she was sleeping peacefully. The noblewoman's pregnancy had come to a very visible end, at least, and her stomach seemed to be returning to normal fairly quickly. Alice, for her part, only seemed capable of looking at her mistress with confusion.

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Elizabeth cleaned her knife on the nearest chair. That had gone better than expected. Elizabeth wasn't about to stab herself in the stomach, even to end a creature pregnancy, without a little experimentation before hand. Unfortunately for Karina, she was the only other monstrously pregnant woman Elizabeth had access to, so she'd drawn the short stick. Though who knew maybe she'd thank her for it later, and after all, Elizabeth had apologized, beforehand even, that had to be better than apologizing after the fact, plus if she had warned her it would've just hurt more. Besides this way she didn't have to suffer the indignity of birthing a squid-child.

Elizabeth had lots of good rational reasons prepared for Karina when she woke up, and yet, however, her unconscious state did leave the Silver woman with a bit of a problem. She had hoped to offer Karina her knife to 'repay the favor.' She didn't trust Alice enough to stab into any part of her, even a swollen stomach with a creature baby inside. Still, it had to be done... Elizabeth began to strip down, removing her clothes and setting them neatly in the nearest, cleanest chair she could find, no sense in putting another hole in her armor. "When she does wake up be sure to convey my apologies for my actions. I had good reasons." Elizabeth looked down at her bare, swollen, stomach with revulsion, holding her short knife in both hands once she was nude. "I assume I'll be out for a similar time, during such, you're responsible with our defense Alice. Blockade the door, do your best to stay quiet and if someone knocks don't answer it..."

That instruction gave Elizabeth some pause, if the Captain and his remaining guards were still in the building they might come searching for them. Not that they seemed to have any doubts about leaving Karina and herself raped and pregnant on the ballroom floor, but perhaps the battle had gone poorly... Elizabeth would have left them if the positions were reversed. "Unless it's the Captain, whathisname, D-something I think. If he knocks, demand he and any others name themselves, keep tally of how many their are and try to wake myself first Karina second. If there's more than three, lie to them, instruct them to meet us someplace, the ballroom, or the servant's entrance, remember where we're to meet us, write it down if you have to." There was also the matter of the stranger... "There's also that stranger... they were in the ballroom." An unknown factor, Elizabeth had no clue where this person was, who they were, what their intentions might be, or what they were capable of. "If they're alone, let them in, if they're with a group... wake me."

Elizabeth ran the list of things through her mind... she couldn't think of anything else that might need to be dealt with. That just left one thing. The Silver heiress took a deep breath and look down at her swollen stomach once again, raising her Short Knife like she was about to commit Seppuku, which essentially she was. "Try not to leave a scar..." Elizabeth closed her eyes, wincing visibly as she brought her blade down.

"Oh no, not again!" Alice managed to blurt out as the heiress drove the dagger into her own pregnant belly, although how the act surprised the maid was anybody's guess, given the lead-up. Elizabeth felt the skinny girl's hands grabbing to support her, guiding her slowly onto the ground next to Karina. The assassin didn't lose consciousness as quickly as her counterpart had, however, being a bit sturdier. Excruciating pain wracked her stomach where she had driven in the blade. The daughter of House Silver could see her handmaiden frantically working over her. It was a few minutes into the process when the black clouds that had taken up her peripheral vision finally encompassed her sight completely, everything fading away.

...

Elizabeth stirred from her impromptu nap, slowly at first, at least until the waves of agony renewed themselves. It was difficult to ignore the feeling brought on by the combination of Alice's healing and a self-inflicted knife wound in her stomach. When the assassin chose to open her eyes, she found that the room was fairly dark. The lack of windows in the sitting room didn't help in matters of vision, though it had proved useful for security. Still, it wasn't difficult to tell that she, herself, was no longer pregnant, even though someone had covered her with a blanket. Peering hard enough, Elizabeth could spot a pile of furniture, most of what had originally been in the room, in fact, being used to barricade the door with a now-clothed Alice leaning against it, dozed off. Karina sat in one of the newly bare corners of the room, simply staring at the ground, not seeming to notice that the rogue had awoken. It was difficult to tell what time of day it was.

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

Elizabeth groaned to herself quietly, shifting in place before opening one eye and raising one hand to her head, adjusting her hair and sitting up. She was careful to lean up slowly; she had no idea if she’d hurt herself inadvertently, but was pleased to find herself feeling significantly less round than before. A second groan bubbled up however as the Silver heir’s eyes strayed across Karina, stabbing someone was seldom a smart social move, and the young girl was likely the type to hold a grudge over such things.

Perhaps a little feigned weakness to turn the young girl’s sympathy in her favor… Elizabeth gave her best theatrical groan and sat up fully, reaching one hand up to hold her head, and reaching the other down to run across her stomach as she tried to look as sickly and frail as she could manage. "Uhh... that may have been worse than the rape."

"Your handmaiden told me why you did it," Karina replied coolly, ignoring the assassin's comment. The formerly bubbly noblewoman didn't seem angry. Instead, it was sadness that was in her dark brown eyes as she finally looked up from the floor to gaze at Elizabeth. The girl's expression was one of a woman who had been betrayed. It had been a difficult day for the daughter of House Silrocio, not that it had necessarily been easy for the much sturdier heiress to House Silver. The cause of the noblewoman's mood might have been a bit deeper than her knife wound.

Before Elizabeth could say anything further to Karina, however, her handmaid awoke. Still propped against the furniture like some sort of discarded maid doll, the girl groggily scanned the room before her eyes set on her mistress. "Milady! You're awake!" The thin girl all but bolted to the assassin's side to see to her comfort and needs. After fussing over her blankets and checking the padding that was serving as a pillow, the maid produced a canteen from somewhere and offered it up to the woman. "It's water," Alice explained. "You're probably really thirsty after all that," she stated the obvious, as only she could.

Elizabeth took a deep breath, stood, and accepted the canteen from Alice, taking a light sip while she looked across the room at Karina. "Somethings simply have to be done." She said as flatly as she could. "I thought it better if you didn't see it coming." Elizabeth returned the canteen to Alice and began redressing herself. Karina could hold a grudge if she wanted to, but ultimately Elizabeth was convinced she had done what was best, and besides she didn’t particular care what Karina thought of her as long as she could be counted on to do the same.

"No visitors Alice?” The young girl had done a markup job on barricading the door, such to the point that Elizabeth began to wonder how much of this day she was going to spend unconscious, if it was even in fact still the same day as the Dreslin ball. It was going to make getting back out a chore, but there were always ways around that, and Elizabeth did enjoy being unpredictable. She’d just have to think up something.

Elizabeth's pragmatic words didn't elicit a response from Karina, who proceeded to stare at the floor some more. An awkward silence ensued, lasting so long that it seemed fit to burst. Finally, it did shatter, when Alice spoke up to answer the question asked of her. "No milady, no visitors," she replied with only a hint of genuine cheerfulness. The maid seemed to darken when she realized that she didn't have much more to add than that, leaving the silence to return. After a moment, during which the handmaiden fidgeted uncomfortably due to the atmosphere in the room, she brightened up. "I can start removing the barricade if you wish it, milady." Her words did little to lighten the mood but the mousy girl seemed content with the idea of largely removing herself from the situation.

Karina, for her part, merely sat in the corner, with her arms wrapped around her knees. Her saddened chocolate eyes stared at the floor as though she were looking off the edge of the cliff into the abyss.

Elizabeth smirked at Alice’s offer. “Actually I was hoping Karina could offer a way around that.” Elizabeth, now fully dressed, set her hands on her hips and walked over to the brooding noble girl, setting a hand on her shoulder. “Care to give those powers of yours a real test?” Elizabeth smiled down to the curled up Karina. “The halls are bound to be teaming with those things,” She tossed her head toward the blocked door. “Alice, what would you say is above this room?” Elizabeth took a step back from Karina, setting her hands on her hips once more and giving the ceiling a good long look, before procuring a chair from the barricade and doing her best to drag it into one of the room’s corner, hoisting herself up onto it and beginning to tap the ceiling to feel for a soft or hollow spot.

With the halls full of creatures, I thought we might try going up.” Elizabeth smiled to the other girls, before hopping down. “What do you say Karina, think you can open the way?” She had some hopes that a little action, and perhaps the chance to take out some misplaced rage or anxiety on the ceiling would lift Karina’s spirits.

Perception Check to discover a weak spot in the ceiling.

Perception: Success.

Karina looked up at Elizabeth with a little bit of surprise evident on her face as the assassin's hand touched her shoulder. The darker noblewoman's demeanor shifted into one of suspicion after the initial surprise had left her but the trained rogue could easily identify a tinge of curiosity in the girl's eyes. Alice didn't hide her curiosity at all, her eyebrows raising noticeably. "Possibly one of the guest bedrooms, milady. Otherwise a hall near one." The maid responded to the question, distancing herself from the barricade as her mistress worked.

Elizabeth found some difficulty in reaching the ceiling, even in the sitting rooms the estate had been built to some measure of extravagance with overly high ceilings. The lean noblewoman had to put her balancing skills to good use, ending up with most of her weight on the back of the chair, which threatened to tip, before she could lay a hand on it. When she had reached her goal, however, the assassin began to tap. Knock against the ceiling as she might, Elizabeth couldn't find any specific weak points. The Badarian rogue wasn't entirely unsuccessful though, she did manage to find spots that would be easier to breach than others.

The rogue hopped down from the chair easily, barely making a noise as she landed on the floor. After Elizabeth had issued her suggestion, Karina's look of curiosity only deepened. The noblewoman nodded slowly and brought herself up. After the assassin pointed out the spot on the ceiling, the more psychically inclined girl wordlessly ushered her away from the spot. Taking her own position away from the soon to be destroyed ceiling, Karina focused herself on it. Almost absentmindedly she swiftly drew a line in the air with her finger. It would have looked odd at best if Elizabeth couldn't feel a sudden force in the air. A second later, a long cut appeared along the plaster of the ceiling, causing chunks and dust to fall free. With two more sweeps of the woman's finger a large chunk of plaster fell free, shattering as it struck the ground. Then she focused herself on the newly exposed lathe, going through it much quicker and easier. The joists had a few chunks taken out of them as well in Karina's strike against the ceiling, though nothing so serious as to compromise the integrity of the room above. Finally, she struck at the exposed section of floor, cutting it like a trap door with as large a hole as possible in between the wooden support beams. It fell free and hit the ground, eliciting yet another crash.

By the time it was all said and done, the sitting room was covered in plaster dust and debris but there was a access point into the room above. Karina grinned slightly at the toll she had taken on the estate. Alice looked around nervously, as though she would somehow be in trouble for the mess that had just been made. No monsters had come pouring into the room, which was probably a good sign. A quick glance into the room above revealed the slightest hint of light stretching across it. The assassin would have to go up if she were to find out anything more.

(I figured it'd be best to go ahead and have Karina use her psychic removal talents on the ceiling rather than short-posting again, since Elizabeth wouldn't have been able to tell if there was anything above or not.)

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

"Good work." Elizabeth stepped up behind Karina, setting a hand on her shoulder as she looked up at the new opening in the ceiling. She also took the opportunity to dust a little plaster off the both of them before stepping up to stand directly beneath the hole, hands on her hips as she saw what she could through it. "Well, who wants to go first?" She said almost jovially looking back to her companions.

Elizabeth felt good about this plan, heading upstairs without means of the stairs, sure something was bound to have heard all the noise they had made, but with any luck that would attract them to the room they were in, not the room above it. "Alice, see if you can't find a table and some chairs to help us up there. Karina, think you can lift me like you did the trunk?" She referred to the trunk the buxom noble had used to bludgeon the ghoulified guards. Elizabeth had elected herself to go first, drawing both of her blades from their places. She was the only one with any real weapon, and the one with the most nimble frame, plus putting herself almost literally in Karina's hands couldn't have a negative effect on rebuilding the trust lost by stabbing her.

"I don't know if trying to lift you up there would be a good idea," Karina answered after a short, thoughtful pause. "I'm not sure how steady I could keep you." The curvy noblewoman's worries did at least seem related to Elizabeth's safety. From the sound of her voice, Karina was a little less completely drowned in despair, at least. Without asking, she began to move a few pieces of the furniture barricade over. Alice stood impassively as it all happened, apparently having seen too much today for anything to really surprise her by that point. After a few short seconds, there was a suitably stable stack of furniture underneath the fresh hole in the ceiling.

Assuming that Elizabeth was willing to accept any path to through the ceiling, she could climb up the furniture. If she did, Elizabeth would find that her impromptu stepping stool was a little short. However, a hop later she would find herself able to grip the small ledge that the improvised hatch had left. Thanks to her rigorous athletic training, the rogue would find herself able to bring herself up by the handholds and peer into the room while still remaining fairly silent.

The room above proved to be, as Alice suggested, a guest bedroom. A fairly luxurious bed was against the wall opposite the doorway, almost taunting the sore assassin who had just moments before been sleeping on a much less comfortable floor. A chest, likely filled with sheets and other such amenities, was at the foot of the mattress. Two windows were on either side of the bed, the curtains were pulled tight over one but a slight gap had been left in the other set, leaving a small crack of light to shine into the room. From the look of things, dawn was just barely breaking. The assassin had spent quite a bit of time in the last twelve hours unconscious, it seemed. A further look around the room revealed a polished oak dresser in one corner. In the other corner was a vanity mirror with a table. The whole room seemed meticulously cleaned.

There were only two doors, one seemed similar to the closet door from the sitting room she had just remodeled, the other looked to be a way out. To reinforce that, Elizabeth heard footsteps shuffling around outside of the main door, though they appeared to be walking past the door rather than towards it.

Re: Elizabeth Silver (AshPrince) GMed by Hafnium

After a hop skip and a jump, Elizabeth was within the upper room, crouched low, staying quiet as she could. The Silver heir, crept her way to both doorways, locking if she could, before returning to the hole Karina had carved in the floor. She set her blades down beside her and laid prone across the floor stretching her hands down to help her less nimble associates follow her.

Once the other two girls joined her in the bedchamber, it was information gathering time. Elizabeth would make her way to the windows, stay behind the curtains as she parted them, just encase there was something outside, she had her hopes that the dawn would bring the end of the creature plague, but wasn’t so naïve as to instantly assume that the creatures were repelled by sunlight but more importantly, wherever the window looked, was outside.

Whatever was going on outside was almost more important that what was going on inside. Inside things could be avoided; you could cut a hole in the ceiling for example, but outside, if there were anything such as those titans that Robin encountered roaming about it would make things, difficult. Of course it wasn’t like she had much better an idea as to what was roaming around inside, other than that she knew the lizards & the squids, and those slime things, and the sticky naked women… and god knew what else.

This was a depressing train of thought, Elizabeth turned her attention back toward the room, feeling her shoulder ache as she looked the soft sheets of the bed over. It had been a long day, and it wasn’t over yet. She still had to escape this house, get to her cousin’s murder him in cold blood, then report back to her father. Hopefully by the time she actually got to stab something human the other things would be gone or dealt with.
