True, but Paypal also doesn't ask.

It's pretty simple to send money through Paypal "for goods and services", pay a small fee for the transaction and have no questions asked about what the "goods and services" actually were.

This is how artist commissions often work, and I imagine it would work the same for H-games, though the dev would have to handle to each purchase personally.

No, only the boss that's available so far to be selected from the beginning, like earlier demo. On this current demo, you need to beat Slime/Samurai/Nurse first to unlock Wrestler/Whip

if i can, i really don't want to take such risk. Maybe when the game is released, you can pledge 10$ or more in patreon, wait until they successfully process it, and then you can receive the game? you can stop being a patron afterwards

I've been researching payment options outside of Paypal recently.

0. Paypal -- Uggghhhh... right?

1. Bitcoin -- The preferred black-market coin right now. Through Coinbase (Company is funded by YCombinator, very big California Venture Capital Angel fund) , it is very easy to setup Bitcoin.

Its possible to set up an anonymous transfer through Bitcoin, but I suspect that it is illegal to do so (since it is equivalent to automated money laundering). There have been recent FBI stings and such with Bitcoin since Silk Road was taken down. (Silk Road apparently had illegal Drugs and Murder-for-hire going on...)

In any case, BTC is the preferred online method for money for "unsavory" purposes. Its decentralized and impossible to stop really. The main issue is the reputation (which... companies like Coinbase seem to be improving significantly).

2. Altcoins -- while BTC is the most popular coin, there are others like DOGE and Litecoin. Since there's no big company (like Coinbase) supporting other altcoins right now, I find them hard to recommend for the general user.

3. Dwolla -- This one uses bank ACH transactions to transfer money. And as such, Dwolla is free to use. Unlike Paypal, which takes like 3% off... Dwolla's costs are much nicer.

It does take a day or so for the money to be transferred, but its a very small price to pay. Dwolla has a couple of more advanced services they offer.

Dwolla's "Terms of Service" seems to allow ponography but NOT Bitcoins (

Dwolla seems like the most legitimate service right now. What do yall think? I've got BTC of my own (through Coinbase), but only enough to play with. I guess there's no harm in trying Dwolla and seeing if it works out?

Just wanna emphasize that Dwolla ONLY accepts bank transactions; NOT credit cards. I foolishly tried to set up Dwolla for a project of mine and didn't check the fine print. So long as you're alright with having funds transferred through bank accounts, rather than through cards, and your customers are willing to do the same, then Dwolla really can't be beat.

Cards are easier...but cash is definitely safer. Here, we have problems with people putting card skimmers on the readers...so that way it reads their card info and sends the info to the card company AND the thieves all in one go. Sucks...

Personally I find it easier to use a secondary credit card with an account that had no money. If I want to buy something, I move the specific amount of money I want into that account, then use the card. If the card gets compromised it doesn't matter because there's no money there.

It wasn't this slow when I played older version. did you do something on your game?

This is made in game maker right? I noticed that sometimes game maker runs REALLY SLOWLY if it knows I had a joystick or controller plugged in before but those aren't plugged in when i open it. If I plug the controller back in, it goes regular speed.

I always have a joystick plugged in, didn't experience any slowdown on the latest version (though I did sometimes in older vers).

I updated my blitzmax x__X .. I'll try to recompile the game with the older version ..

for now, maybe try to mark the exe with compatibility options? let me know the result.

Edit: full screen + directX works fine but slow? How about windowed OPenGL, also slow?

it's made with blitzmax, let me know if you know how to fix it. It seems very random T__T (people with onboard VGA will most likely get it & that's understandable .. but sometimes it's also happen to people with fast PC too x__X)

just finished coding the update/save system, the GUI is just a quickwork & reusing the other menu's GUI though. Ideally I want to make a better looking one but it's not a priority I guess lol. If you check my patreon news a few days ago I said that the loading menu is only available in-game but not anymore since i manage to make it accessible from the main menu too now!

Hopefully this make testing easier in the future
