Re: Do you remember the nineties?

Bill Nye is still the man.

Kratt's Creatures was good, but I preferred the lemur whose name I can't spell.

Zaboomafoo, really? I hated it when that lemur showed up. They didn't need a mascot, and it changed the tone of the entire show, made it all kiddy and less awesome, in my opinion. That's what I liked about them and Bill Nye, it was made for kids, but they talked to them like they were actually intelligent, I didn't feel patronized like I did with most other kids' shows. I mean, high school teachers use Bill Nye in their classrooms, that's gotta show something, eh?

You have a point. In my defense, however, I must point out that my reasoning may be because I got home when KC was either finished or halfway over. So that might be why I preferred one over the other =P

Bill Nye and Kratt's creatures were win and awesome sauce.

The Jratt brothers still have something that comes on National Geographic iirc.

I'm sorry Chibs, I can't. I've sworn off creating abominations of nature, I'm not allowed to 'breed' with anyone. ;)

And yes, they were the two shows that defined my childhood, I luved them so :D

Re: Do you remember the nineties?

Well I remember this being a chain message on sites like Myspace...

But yeah. I remember all this. First thing that comes to my mind when I think of the nineties is Blur. Fucking awesome band. Song 2 is still the best damn song title in the world. My all time favorite song too.

I also remember when wearing nothing around the house was considered indecent.... Or is that still indecent?

~This is the song that never ends,~
~Yes it goes on and on my friends!~
~Some people STARTED singing it,~
~Not knowing what it was,~
~But they'll continue singing it forever just because,~

I remember watching Bill Nye AND Beakman's World, just because they were both awesome in different ways :D

And, of course, talking about the WB, can't forget HYSTERIA! :p

Re: Do you remember the nineties?

Most of the really good super-hero cartoons didn't start till the 90s. Batman & Superman, Spider-man, the X-Men, Batman Beyond. And Cartoon Network was just a big ball of win.

Re: Do you remember the nineties?

Dexter's LAH-BOR-AH-TOREE!!

That made CN full of win, even without any of the other awesome stuff they had on there.

DEEDEE! GET OUT OF MAI LABORATORY!

One of the reasons I lurve Blleedman's comics is because he's using the characters from the 'good' part of CN, not the shitastic stuff nowadays.

Re: Do you remember the nineties?

What, you mean to say that Ben10 isn't as good as stuff like Swat Kats, DBZ, and Dexter's Laboratory?

The fact you put DBZ in that list makes me wary on saying more on this, because:

1. Never seen Ben10. Probably the newest stuff I've seen is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's first few episodes and some of the newer seasons of Code Lyoko
2. DBZ: 15 minutes of increasing power levels, 10 minutes of comersials, 5 minutes of anything worth watching. Not my favorite anime.
3. It's more personal tastes in comparison. Isn't that how all intraweb drama starts? :p
