There are status effects that may impede full, or any recovery at all, including severe injury, but otherwise, your fatigue will reset given a short period of only mild exertion or less.

After seeing that game text, Dana feels a bit more confident about continuing on, and indeed her fatigue seems to lessen and the overwhelming tiredness dissipates after several minutes. It seems the major concern, if such things were a bother to Dana, was her lack of clothes. Other than that, she seemed to be functioning normally.

It had red and white paint smeared over its face, and its mad red eyes seemed to change their focus from the imps it had apparently been chasing on to the naked form of Dana right before its path.
