You carefully move closer to the disturbance, until you see the cause. It's a moving piece of rope. Should ropes move? That seems strange. It's getting itself tangled in your web worse and worse, damaging the web.
What do you do?
1. Free the rope
2. Try to kill and eat it
3. Leave it alone and fix the web after you've finished eating

The rope coils and tries to get free even as it manages to avoid your fangs and the elaborate dance continues for several minutes until your fangs sink into it and go straight through, without releasing the venom. It also tastes bad. The rope continues to coil and squirm, apparently ignoring you despite the bite.
