It is nice yes, but it's also one that requires a fair bit of car maintenance skills and gas to keep going. I can only do things like change a battery or the tires myself, if it goes more complex than that I can't do it, plus I imagine keeping one of those fixed via other people can get expensive. When you combine that with the gas guzzling these usually do, nop.

I'm convinced Gaun walks through the streets at midnight, sniffing and licking car exhaust pipes.

Going through inheritance things and will be getting a decent sum of money in the near future, so I have a bit of a car fever going. Finally can get myself a more recent one. Driven Toyotas my entire car life so I'm kinda looking to go to another Japanese brand probly, though I have not completely counted Toyota out from the competition.

Fair enough. I will say that maintenance on older cars is fairly simple once you've been shown how to do it and some even find it enjoyable (I'm kind of on the fence on that issue myself). A far cry from working on anything post 2008ish, where you almost have to take it to the dealer to get a fuckin oil change (something I suspect will become necessary within the next 10 years).
