Nysa glanced a brief gaze at the visage and let loose her fires towards her. Obviously the Kitsune didn't quite hear it was Emi, nor see past the gore. The flame tongues quickly enveloped the roof, but didn't quite reach the samurai girl... though if she stands there for long the magic will surely be in range soon.

On the upside any gore or corpses there quickly caught fire, so in a way she was doing what Emi suggested she'd do... right?

Perhaps it was more shock that she was almost killed by some random arrow in a random town, than rage that fueled Nysas assault on the town. HER the great Wildfire mage, the cutey girl suffering so much from this darn town?!

"NYSA! I GAVE YOU ONE WARNING SO DON"T BLAME ME FOR THIS!" With that Emi grabbed a large apple from her pack and baseball pitched it right into Nysa's Boobs! "I said stop the town didn't do anything to you and those that hurt you are dead!" Walking to the girl while wiping her face clean of blood. "You have a choice burn a building or help me find the townsfolk and clean up the dead." If all went well and Nysa was pacified Emi would bring the girl into a hug hopefully stopping the fire hands of doom from inflecting further damage to the town in question.

Nysa continued to fan her flames when suddenly *BOOF* the continous flames interupted as the girl slightly jerked back from some sudden impact. Nysa looked down only to be surprised by the sight of... an apple? An apple lodged between the girls great big assets.

The Kitsune blinked a few times, her craze fading away "Emi? Emi is that you!" Nysa leaned forward carefulyl looking at the visage... wait that's no visage that was just the samurai girl covered in blood! Nysa laughted merily "Don't scare me like that stupid!" the samurai girl finally approached the scantily clad Kitsune.

"You have a choice burn a building or help me find the townsfolk and clean up the dead." with a harumph Nysa crossed her arms and looked away poutfully "2 apples and Nysa help."

Emi's eye twitched did the girl really expect to be paid to help Emi find the villagers after she almost set her on fire. "No one apple to help me sense you almost set me on fire and its the right thing to do." Hopefully the Kitsune didn't argue or barter to much with Emi so they could search the dead for money and clues to where the villagers may be taken. She doubt they could have gone far with a good number of their force just waiting in the town for random passer bys.

"Stupid towns own fault..." Nysa didn't let up "And Emi scared Nysa too." the Kitsune childishly stuck her tongue out. She was not going to help without proper incentive, especially with the moral ground not having much sway on the girl at all. Ignoring the samurai girl the Kitsune used some more healing magic on herself, there's no denying the girl will take some time to be back to her healthy self, there was absolutely no reason for her to travel in pain.

Emi simply shrugged "Fine Ill do it myself." With that Emi bold as brass reached in and grabbed her apple back and took a big bite out of it and proceeded to search the bodies for supplies money and clues. "Oh and Nysa put on some pants."

"Hey~! That one's mine!" Nysa swished her tail back and forth in an agitated manner, though for all the samurai girl cared she took a nice big, juicy bite from the apple. Not much for Nysa to do, but just glare at the samurai girl, slightly antagonized and just follow her around... but goodness forbid actually helping the samurai girl with anything. Perish the thought!

And what does she mean put on some pants! Was the Kitsune supposed to magic some on her... oh the samurai girl will rue this day... Soon.

Anyone arguments or particular problems with the situation were cut pretty short as a panicked, but muffled scream was heard from the nearby building the Kitsune had set ablaze in her temper tantrum. Seemed everything wasn't uninhabited after all... Who was making the noise was impossible to tell but they were very afraid and from the sound of things, unable to exit the building on their own even as the flames continued to spread up the wall. It should have occured to Nysa that Slavers probably had other captured people nearby, but that thought had apparently been driven from her mind by the combat, getting shot in the stomach could do that to a person...

How they reacted was just as important as how quickly they did so as the magical flames continued to demolish the wood of the building, but if there were people trapped inside, then the real danger wasn't the flames, it was the smoke, and both adventurers could already hear the voice getting weaker...

"DAMN!" She didn't know how she missed it maybe she was to angry at Nysa to notice but one of the building did indeed catch fire. Throwing an accusatory look at the pyromaniac kitsune. Emi didn't even bother to ask for help it was assumed that Nysa didn't care or at lest thats what Emi was starting to think. Dashing to the building in question Emi burst threw the door trying to find the sources of the cries while covering her mouth from the smoke.

Nysa eyed the samurai girl curiously, running in to a burning building blindly. Such a wierdo... still a hint of guilt did take root in the Kitsune. She wasn't heartless, just selfish "Wait for me Emi!" Nysa quickly casted a spell on herself. The real danger here wasn't the fire as much as suffocation... and trying to smoke screen a wind mage was a lot effort. Wild winds quickly bursted outwards from the Kitsune as she ran in. Sure it may entice the flames, but it should give fresh air and went the smoke out wherever the girl went. Not to mention give clear vision to both girls.

Emi was assaulted by thick clouds of black smoke from the normally weatherproofed wood that Nysa had set ablaze with her tantrum, making her skin burn before Nysa came charging in after her with winds billowing and twisting around her body, forcing the smoke back. As the winds filled the room they had entered, they heard crying... It was children, this building had been holding the children, probably for sale later to whoever would by them, and in any underworld circle, there were always people willing to buy... The children, and the pair could see 4 of them, 2 girls, and 2 boys, about 7 or 8, were huddling in a corner in shackles and rags, eyes wide with abject terror as they looked at the pair, Emi still covered in blood and Nysa surrounded by a swirling maelstrom of wind and flames, the smoke forced to rise and push out the windows even as the power of the flames themselves increased. They had to move quickly, but there was a slight problem. The shackles themselves were all on a runner chain locked to the wall. They were on a clock, and there wasn't much time left... Because the metal of their shackles was starting to heat up...

Emi nearly choked on the black smoke but thankfully Nysa entered close behind her the winds she conjured clearing the smoke for now. Seeing the plight of the children Emi acted quickly. Drawing Warrior's Reach her naganata she channeled her spirit energy to enhance the blade. Looking up with a brief passing glow to her eyes she would find out if her families steel was more than a match for baradian iron. "Nysa chill the running chain!" Waiting only a moment to see if Nysa complied Emi made her attack.

Well that's easy for her to say. Nysa could only either conjure a small amount of pure water or a freezing attack that could end up doing far more harm than a heated chain could ever manage... the kitsunes ears quickly stood up! Idea~!

Nysa quickly placed her hands on the ground as a bright magic writings formedi infront of her. A moment later a water elemental emerged from the created rune! "Give hugs and hold chain!" Nysa cheered out her command to the water elemental, proudly pointing her finger towards the children and chain, the constant winds kept splashing water onto the children to cool them as the elemental itself gently grabbed the chain halting the heat spread for now.

Though both commands wrecked havoc on the summoned creature, Emi better be fast with her slashes.

The children all screamed in absolute terror as the water elemental sprouted into existence and wrapped around them protectively, it's liquid form protecting them from the heat and the sudden change in temperature on the hot runner chain causing what sounded like a thunderclap as a hunk of metal flew across the room, drawing blood from Emi's cheek as it whipped by like a razor edged bullet. But there were more important things to be done. As Emi drew back with her largest and heaviest weapon, and smashed the impressive blade down onto the runner chain, it shattered, showering both woman in a hail of stinging metal shards, but it broke and the children, all cowering in fear of everything that was going on, tugged and pulled.

Because it was unsafe to stay for even a second longer, Emi and Nysa brought them outside, and they were only too happy to get out. All crouching on the ground, coughing violently, the water elemental sought about cooling any burns on the children, and there were a fair few, stopping the worst of the damage to their sensitive skin as they huddled around each other, looking at Emi and Nysa in abject terror, having no idea how to react, having been ripped from their families and nearly dying in a fire shortly after. What happened next was up to the two women, but the children were still firmly shackled and hobbled, and one was wearing a sealing collar, and badly bruised, as if he had been beaten repeatedly. If either of the women tried to get near him, the other children would crowd around him protectively and start screaming. They'd seen a lot of pain in a short time, but if they didn't help the injured lad, he would probably die.

"Hush little ones their might be more bad men who did this to you." Emi put her weapon away in an effort to look less threatening but considering she was bathed in blood she doubted it would be of much use. "We won't hurt you we just want to help your friend is that alright can we help him feel better?" Using as soothing a voice as the normally stoic samurai could muster she hopped the children would listen to her.

"Yay~! Nysa did it!" the Kistune cheered out and jumped around in victory. Nysa quickly turned to the terrified children and leaned over them "Say "Thank you, Nysa. You're prettiest and cutest girl evar~"... Nysa waiting..." only a few whimpers escaped the bunch, well one almost tried to say it, but he forgot what Nysa demanded he'd say.

The samurai girl approached the bunch of kids, doing her best soothe them. Who knew Emi could have a such a warm and soothing voice... still unfortunately Nysa noticed the very injured child aswell "HEY! You're hurt bad!" the girls eyes widened as she quickly made her way towards him the bunch of kids surrounding him deny entry and started screaming... which ofcourse made the Kitsune scream alongside them too. So now Emi had a chorus a bunch of children and her companion screaming at the top of their lungs to deal with...

The noise was getting out of hand quicky and Emi didn't know if there were more enemies about. Speaking in a commanding but not harsh voice Emi tried to bring some order to theis chaos. "Silences please there could be more bad men who hurt your friend around. We are only trying to help my foxy eared friend can help him feel better if you let her and if your really nice she'll let you pet her tail." Okay so the last part was outright bribery and given the kitsunes nature most likly a lie. Nudging Nysa with her elbow Emi tried to convey that she wanted the kitsune to play along. "But you have to be really really nice and not pull it. Its very soft like a puppy or kitty and you don't want to hurt them right."

No matter how much Emi nudged Nysa kept a stone face "not amused expression" HER TAIL? As if she'd let these dirty brats mess up her wonderful, soft (oh~ so soft) and clean tail! Nysa swished her tail around for a bit, agitated at the very thought and sighed.

Unless the kids gave in to Emi's persuasion. Nysa would just use the winds surrounding her to gently nudge the kids aside, it had more than enough force push the children aside whether they liked it or not. And upon clearing a path would use the same spell she used to heal herself. Even if the children tried their best to fight back, healing their injured friend should forgive any transgresions Nysa commited and earn their trust.

Emi could see that she was getting no where with the kitsune and leaned over to her and whispered in her ear. "Nysa please give me a hand here if you want all the apples for payment then fine but please give me a little help here just name your price."

Nysas ears stood up at the offer "Okay Emi~ I'll help!" the Kitsune grinned happily and looked at the kids warmly "Poof~" the winds surrounding her quickly made their way in between the children slowly pushing them aside. It wasn't a slam of wind more like a stream the kids couldn't fight back.

The wind magic quickly arced around the child, who badly injured and petrified just looked up at the wind mage. Nysa had lowered her ears in case the other children tried to protest. The girl knelt down and smiled at the kid "Let Nysa help" hopefully her earnest expression was enough to persuade the child not to fight back, worsening his condition. Either way Nysas was all set to heal up the child.
