Glad you said that since other people are already trying to make second characters.

I kinda like Azure as a "good guy" though, so I guess that puts my question out of the question for my charry.

Perhaps if the first woman goes beyond saving (and the player expresses an interest in sacrificing her for the sake of good story) RJ could allow making a character to replace her?

:) That way RJ doesn't feel like he has to save EVERYone all the time, and gives the illusion of more danger, even if the player originally asked to have her character sacrificed? XD I don't know, it's just a suggestion.

So if we say that we're going to be absent, you won't NPC our characters when they're with groups? My only concern right now is that I'll have to be absent for a day while I'm at work and it's busy, and I'll come back to see five new pages of stuff that I have to read over (and possibly cringe over if the character's played differently! XD) with my character NPC'd because I couldn't stick around on the forums all day!

Only if you're in a group mission, and you just leave without saying anything, online players can decide to let your char be controlled.

I think the idea is you offer to let your character be NPCed and leave suggestions of how you want her played.

Or you special request the character be removed for the day you're gone somehow...

or something.

Besides, RJ said he'll try to keep your character as close to how she'd actually act as he can. So don't worry too much. RJ is doing a great job thus far with everything, especially considering how overloaded he has been at times.

(PS, medic thread our other active changed her post instead of posting again, so game is on.)

Like in my case where I 'closed my eyes', my team paused instead of going, which I am glad cause RJ would turn my Char back into a insane person...
So, now I just hope my team gets on while I camp on this thread, talking to people and explaining things like this while RJ is busy.

XD I look away for two seconds and Claire's getting screwed silly by a mysteriously familiar dinosaur-like creature. So long as it's not wearing a toga or no halo is adorning its head...!

Can our characters "evolve" over time?

Like learn new skills by developing new disadvantages?
Or just as we level do we get more points eventually to get new skills?

I've got some quirks I envision Azure developing as the game goes on, she's already being 'tainted' by her interactions.
