Assuming Taya could even do anything with the poison wracking her, she'd try to shoot her bow at one of her shadowy opponents.

Combat Round 1

Pre combat: Ellana scooped up a bit of the goo into a vial, closing it without getting in any close touch with the dark, goopy substance.

Initiative:Mara -> Shadow spearthrower-> Ellana -> Taya -> Shadowy guard, Guard 2 ( -> Mud covered guard: 6 (waiting) -> Alice

Mara sends forth an acid splash towards the creatures, though it doesn't hit them, instead forcing them to scatter to avoid the acid splash. Afterwards she takes cover behind Alice, who looks strong and tough enough for such purposes.

The spear-throwing creature readies another spear and its motions indicate it is busy poisoning its next weapon.

Ellana lets loose a bolt of fire, which produces an angry, pained gurgling noise from one of the guard creatures. Its injured, but not enough to drive it off.
The fire arrow briefly lights up the three creatures.. two simple fish-goblins, the one with the spear is wearing a sash like decoration made of colorful shells and what you suspect are human teeth.

Taya lets loose an arrow, and follows up on Ellanas attack, causing an angry hiss from the creature, followed by a painful squealing as it realizes the level of injury, as it retreats back into the shadows and out of sight. That said, Tayas happiness is shortlived, as her mind is wracked by twisted visions, involving the ooze covered trap she had just disabled. She can just see herself smearing her own body with the good, kneeling and offering her body and profane service to indescribable creatures that look more at home in the deep sea than in her memories... (Geesh that roll. Taya takes 7 points of wisdom damage.)
She'll have to spent the next 3 turns resisting the urge to have a taste of that delicious goo. (-1 to all rolls.. unless she tries some of the goo!)

With one of its friends gone, the first guard doesn't seem daring enough to engage the heroes where they stand. Instead it withdraws a step or two into the darkness, keeping its shield lifted and throwing an odd sort of net.. only to hear a tearing noise as the net snaps at it seams, splashing harmlessly to the ground. Blubbling angrily, the creature backs off. (dat nat 1.)

Alice waits in vain for any of the creatures to come to her, her blade readied, but her action lost.

The Elf smiled when her spell hit its mark, causing one of the fish creatures to retreat in the distance. Muttering her words of power, she conjured up another spell, ire sparking to life in her palm once again. Her eyes locked on the fleeing target, she slung the bolt at it once more, hoping to bring it down.

To hit: (I doubt that hit, so I won't bother rolling damage.)

Well, given the enemy backed off already. Alice would start to slowly advance, palming a dart as she tried to get sight on one of the creatures. Whichever she could see clear enough to actually target first finding itself the target of the thrown weapon.

"Just keep it up, they're already breaking!" Always the optimist, Mara kept her voice bright and positive. In reality she was rather shaken by the strange effects and injuries her friends were receiving. It didn't seem this dangerous last night!

Noticing one readying another poison spear, she realized now was the time to act. Her veins chilled and the energy rushed forward, pooling in her fingertip. It felt cold, blisteringly cold. So cold she couldn't contain it, and neither could reality as a beam of pure frost shot out at the creepy fish monster downwind of the party.

Taya groaned, shuddering at the images in her head. She didn't feel very good. At all. Stupid poison. Normally she'd run and go get healed rather than stick around, but now she was angry she got hit with a spear. Very angry.

Snarling caninely she moved up to put the spear tosser in her vision before shooting at them, all two of them in her vision! Now if they'd just stop spinning around in mid air while doing fishy dances!

(disadvantage due to being poisoned so took the lowest of the two, 17 previous was 18 )

Combat Round 2

Mara blasts the shadowy spearthrower with a full ray of chilling cold, causing it to retalite, thanking her with an angrily tossed spear that, luckily, whizzes just an inch past her, at the point where she wasn't sure if she sucessfully dodged, or merely got lucky.

Ellanas attack goes far and wide, it doesn't look as if its going to be sucessful even if the creature hadn't already retreated. She sucessfully chars a bit of wall though.

Taya follows this up with an arrow shot to the spearthrower, leaving it snarling angrily.

In retaliation to that, the goblin-guard intercedes Taya, raising a shield and a hook like looking weapon and striking at her, however, swaying from the poison or dodging with skill, she manages to avoid the thrust weapon.

Seeing its allies being of questionable sucess, the mud covered goblin remains silent and in waiting.

Alice sends a dart flying, which impacts upon the guard, though the little creature still seems to have some fight left in it, if anything the injury causes it to become enraged.

As Alice and Taya rush forward there is a snapping noise on the ground. Before Taya can shout out a warning a shadowy webbing snaps at the two of them closing in on the enemy.
The spearthrower is chittering with its teeth, still feeling the chill. It doesn't seem quite enthusiasitastic about this fight anymore. Its guarding buddy, carrying an ooze-covered sort of shell-shaped shield seems more determined and gives you a victorious sneer as the trap is triggered. It seems almost gleeful in imagining the things it could do to you, if trapped properly..

"See? Just like that. Let's wrap this up with a bang!" This was an easy one, if tiring. She whipped her finger around, drawing the paths out mentally before pointing at the fish monsters. Three sudden bursts of power launched from the tipped of her finger, each swirling bolts of colorful power. Each of them flew forward at incredible speed, finding their marks quickly. Unfortunately for the wounded spearthrower, that meant him. All three smashed into him, battering him with the force of weird chaos magic. Mara hoped it'd be enough to put him down before he threw another spear at her.

Alice finds herself stumbling and entangled in the net. Infact, it squeezed her so tightly the pressure pushes out her chest and seals of the bloodflow to them, leaving her tingly and sensitively exposed in her unwanting shibari trap. (unless you free yourself you can't use melee attacks)
Furthermore, the net seems coated in a strange substance, similiar to the first trap in the entrance (cons save and as you got so hoplessly entangled, you have disadvantage.)

The Wild Elf frowned as her attack went wide, the bolt sputtering out and dying as it hit the cave wall. Still determined to knock the spear wielding goblin out of combat, she conjures another flame in her open hand, arching her arm back and beaming it toward the creature. (Not sure if the severely injured goblin is still in range, if not the attack is directed toward the other goblin.)

Alice tried to wiggle out of the net hoping to get some bloodflow moving again as the current position was...uncomfortable to say the best. Not helping was that the goop on the net was doing something to her. Getting in through her clothes as she tried to escape.

Mara unleashes her bolts of vibrant energy.. and immediatly after she begins feeling itchy. Like.. really itchy and its just her clothes. While nothing -compels- her to strip, it would most definitly help, its as if her clothes have been filled with tiny crawly scuttly things..

On a more sucessful note, her three icy blasts impact upon the spearthrower.. causing him to stumble back and flee, holding his side. Taya could potentially pursue and finish him off, if she wanted.

With both of his allies gone, the third creature needs little encouragement to retreat as well, which it quickly gets in the form of Ellanas bolt grazing its head, giving it a nasty cut. Cussing her out in a blubbering language before retreating.

Alice finds her body neatly bondaged up in the web, suddenly fantasizing about her entrappments being the only thing she wears as the creatures gaze upon her with her fishy eyes. She shakes her head clear but feels less aware (2 points of wisdom damage)

Taya managed to, barely, escape the snapping net to the side and has the luxury of seeing exactly where the creature go, well, she has a good idea of where they go, though looking ahead its pretty clear which way they'd have to take anyway.

The muddied up guard retreats a little further into the mud and stays very still, seeing no opportunity to strike and indeed, its mates beaten up.

You have won the fight!(Winning doesn't alway mean dropping your opponents hitpoints to 0.. that said, those that flee might live to fight you another day.)

A hint of daylight falls through a crack in the ceiling, to give you the view of a natural cave, displaying two more tunnels, both pretty much in the darkness. One of the tunnels requires a short climb and seems to be leading upwards, perhaps into the mountain, the other seems to bent and twist, just beneath the earths surface. This latter, larger entrance is also the one decorated, propably indicating the entrance into the creatures main den.

Along the walls are scratchings and markings, showing you what appears to be the fish people you have just fought, comitting lewd acts with various species of humans, elfs, animals.. its all rather blasphemous and despicable and the only common motiv seems to be the voluptous female with a lobster head and claws you've seen before again already.

Taya and Alice only:
You can see those lewd depictions moving, making the act that much more real.. no, no that was just your imagination. Exspecially the part where a few of those simple artworks turned to look at you..

If her foe died she'd snarl in satisfaction, growling before staggering. "See! S'why just rushing in isn't... Is not good! Planning and... prepara... Prepa... Plan! Plan and do plan! Urgh, it's hard to think... All right of you! We need to plan... a charge...? No! No charge... Maybe."

She glared at the pictures, growling at it. "No! No lobster girl riding my cock! That's for alphas not food fish things! Goway!" She moved over and smacked them with the hilt of her dagger.

Taya rushes after and finishes the spear thrower, though the crude spears and poison you can find on the creature aren't really useful to you. Perhaps the pearly necklace could be stripped for its pearls and be sold for a few goldcoins to the right merchant, but right now you have bigger worries.

The wall resists your attack valliantly and the hip-thrusting of what looked like a cross of human and sea-life only increased before Taya as the goblin poison made her body heat up a little to compliment the lewd visions.

Mara did a little fist pump as the remaining fishface broke and ran. Great everything was- oh dear. Something itched, or that irritated, or rather crawled under her clothes. She quickly patted the thin gossamer, trying to find whatever it was or if she had just imagined it. Had they struck her with something? A few tense moments of checking herself and grasping at the phantom touches she concluded it was another one of the side-effects of her power. It was a bit relieving honestly. It'd pass in time and it was never too detrimental. She slid her top off along with her pants with little ceremony, making sure they didn't touch the grimy floor as she stuffed them in her satchel. It wasn't like she was unused to it. She had grown up rather isolated so some of the social taboo had worn off. Besides it wasn't like she was naked.

She stood, shivering in her undergarments as the rest of the part was distracted with chasing things down or looking over the pornographic imagery in the cave. She didn't have much interest in it herself. Weird stuff was weird, nothing too revolutionary.

"Alright, new plan. We keep moving, don't let them catch their breath. We can come back and do a real thorough exploration once we've cleared the majority of them out." Mara started down the larger path motioning for people to follow. She wouldn't go much further than that, just enough to encourage a quicker response.

Ellana gave a silent cheer as the fish men began to retreat, their scaled forms disappearing further into the dim cave. With the immediate threat ended, her attention returned to her current allies. "I saw a couple of you get hit by the gooey stuff, give me a few moments and I might be able to treat you..." She mentions to those afflicted, following the group as they continued.

Investigating the filled vial, she sniffed its contents, trying to identify the poison. Herbalism Roll:

Mara leads the way, not giving the hallucinations-distracted Taya a chance to examine the entrance closer. Propably no good reason for it either, its not like she has to check if she is dextrous enough to avoid some sort of poisoned dart pricking much of her exposed skin at a disadvantage.

The main cave opens up before you, dimly lit by Ellanas fire magic.

its a 100 ft large, uneven circle, with small, muddy tent like buildings partially submerged in water at the end of the cave, and a small stone pyramid with a statue of the lobster-woman you've seen about before atop of it, about man-high in size.. higher than any of the fish-creatures.

At the end of the cavewall is a perch, within which you see a trapped woman with dark hair, though the eye is more immediatly drawn to a larger figure and another blonde.

There is a total of 4 goblins in the cave. One, the guard you injured earlier is blubbering quickly with a larger figure in actual armor wielding a staff. Two more are attempting to drag a woman with a swollen belly and a dazed smile back towards the slave tents.. its not like she struggles, rather, she doesn't move much to aid her captors either.




The fish creature turns as soon as you enter, growling and blubbering. The other two 'goblins' let go of the prisoner, who just drops where she stands, masturbating furiously, rushing to the air of their leader, whilest the guard you priorly injured takes up the flank. It seems you got yourself a fight. worse, with the lighting conditions in the cave, the enemies might have the upper hand on you! Distracted by the visions and the bad lighting, you are faced with a dangerous challenge, as the creatures ready themselves.

The trapped slave observes you, her expression seems hopeful, though, trapped as she is, she doesn't seem in a position to help you, neither does she seem to try and break out seeing you there, even with the cage not looking too sturdy, considering the fate of her companion, none can blame her.

The fishy guards pull forth jagged blades and smirk, as they lift their loincloths. their eyes leering over your forms as they stroke themselvs, bubbling contently, with the half stripped Mara winning most of the attention, even if all of you seem to be quite comely to the creatures as they climax, their nasty inhuman shafts release a gushing of .. black.. goo.. that answers that riddle, and might make some of you feel more apprehensive...

They take the goo and coat their weapons with it, rubbing it into the jagged edges. you have a feeling it'd be dangerous to be hit by that. Even the injured one seems.. encouraged by having a bunch of friends around.

The 'goblins' leader chants in a bubbling language, turning to the idol upon the pyramid and bowing down.. you see a shimmering shield of energy engulfing him, a dark glow with a hint of rippling and bubbling at the edges, as if it was deep waters. You have a bad feeling about this one.

You are 20 ft away from a group of Kuo-toa guards, 25 ft from their leader behind them. You are in a natural cave, containing a set of obstacles, on the northwest wall, about 60 ft from you is a slave pen, halfway to there is a that seems too dazed to take any action.
In the slave you spot who remarks, in common, with a slight accent: "Oh hey! Could you deal with those icky fishy peoples please? I'd rather not become a breeding slave for them.. and have you join me on top of it! Finish off that injured one and try to distract the one with the staff, don't let him just cast all those nasty spells!" Her spirit doesn't seem as.. broken as the other ones, for certain..
