Do you guys think there are enough english rpg maker games?

I intend to make more once i've finished this one.

Next game will have no rape and hopefully a good enough story and gameplay that i will be able to sell an all ages version also...
in fact i might complete the non H version first since i'd be removing content instead of adding it.

I've always wanted to make a RPG Maker game. In fact, I have like a dozen .txt files on my computer filled with concepts for different games, some incredibly detailed and others not so much. But finding the time and motivation to actually script and create a game has always been difficult for me, which always ends up killing any plans for making one.

I think most of the scripting work you can just grab off the shelves and plug it into your system.
If you have a plot and some direction, I think you're ahead of the game.

I can't make a good story so I usually don't see the end.

Do you guys think there are enough english rpg maker games?

There are english RM games??

Oh well..ya I guess there's one or two outside the one you're making...but they're sort of random.

I meant more general event creating than creating custom scripts. Fucking about with the character movement, writing the dialogue, controlling the switches, and all that crap gets pretty tiresome pretty quickly. The few times I've actually gotten to even creation, I usually just used a simple 'lewd' variable for what sex content the player had access to at the time.

I also have no artistic ability, so I usually rely on 3DCustomGirl... which doesn't have the most fluid or intuitive of controls, which leads to even more frustration.

yeah i'm using some mini game scripts and yanfly's multi direction script
and one of my selling points is no relying on custom girl because they bug me...even if im not such a good artist

A lot of circles actually produce resource packs specifically for game-making needs.

For example,

You must be registered to see the links

You must be registered to see the links

You might find them being used in other games you've played.

It's a viable option for non-artists out there that can't draw even if their life depended on it. Some of them allow you to distribute your works commercially, with due credit.

Of course, you won't get anywhere with H-scenes with those but if you just need some eye-catchers they might be enough.

Yeah, the maker of Saki quest uses them a lot, I actually had to turn it off cause it kept confusing me :L

no voices in my game unfortunately, far too much work for a game that will be sold for around 10 dollars (or less if you donate and hunt down an illegal link) at the minute the pirce is set to high because the options were in yen (so it might be 12 dollars atm) but yeah no issue with people getting links of my game if they donate what they can, but pay the dlsite price if they can afford it since, otherwise im risking getting my paypal banned due to profiting from obscene materials

Yeha I'm downloading it now, it SEEMS suspect so wait a few minutes and I'll tell you ( i say that cause dlsite says it's 545 megs, and this file is only 103)

Edit: Yep, the files kaput. Not infected or anything, just a broken file

I'm betting its fake. Its also probably password protected. Files from that site usually are from my experience.
