Protip: you don't have to pay a card as mana tribute in any given turn if you don't want to. Just 'End Phase' to skip that step

@Nordland Hey, first of all that was a great walkthrough! Thanks for posting that! My question: how much is Nutaku communicating with DMM about anti-cheater measures and sharing known cheat strategies employed in Angelic Saga? For a competitive game like this, moderation of cheating will be of utmost importance, right alongside smooth, bug-free gameplay.

good lord, it just release a few hours ago. are people cheating already? are you saying it just to be safe or did you find an opponent that had 100% HR+?

I played against someone who kept getting better draws than me, and I still managed to beat them because the AI is terrible.

Um.... the person i was reffering too is like most their card already lv-ed up too.
For example that Sabine from 1st boss.... when she pop her atk is 1000 pure (original 600, i think she max lv-ed of coz not evolved yet)
this also apply to his other SR HR R card even their 9 cost card atk already on 1.6k -.- how the heck i can beat his atk when my card only on 1k-1.3k atk -.- as soon his turn he cleared all my unit field....
I demand yu gi oh sword of light to hold enemy 3 turn -.- there not even chance to counter back totaly overpowered

I suppose that it's possible, but the game exhibits control lag which suggests that all of the actual logic is server-side.

If you see maxed-out ultra rare cards, then remember that you might not be looking at a cheater. It might just be someone with a credit card and poor impulse control.

For example that Sabine from 1st boss.... when she pop her atk is 1000 pure (original 600, i think she max lv-ed of coz not evolved yet)

That card exists in this game btw lol.

I'm using a darkness deck and just the basic stuff they give me I can counter a deck with strong cards. Turned around a finishing attack against a 1.7k against my 1k. Her card effect gave her an extra 300 and a trap i had gave her an extra 500....instant 1.8k ^^....though I can't rely on that combo to save me all the time, I'm glad to have it!

ah that 300 xtra is only when hit light element
and yeah combo is nice IF.... i got the mana to spend......
So basicaly as ppl mention yeah... on their 2nd turn they already pop that 1k atk card (being 4-5 cost card)....
and then the enemy unit start to pilling more and more with 1k++-1.6k atk.... fricking brute force.... with finisher SR card on 1.9k atk
I already just press give up by this point... strangely i actualy able to stay alive this long due to trap card

This is just a preemptive question concerning the issue. I haven't witnessed anything horrible, just yet. However, I'd rather ask the question now and at least get Nutaku talking about these things amongst their own staff, and with DMM, then wait until an actual issue pops up and then reacting to it. However, the question does stem a lot from the complaints that I've read about PeroPero concerning cheaters/exploiters. That's a pretty serious issue in a game where real people compete against one another, and especially where real life money is involved.

Since i see no hlp menu on leveling up and upgrading, do I need to max each card before upgrading or just find 3 identical cards and feed it to each other?

3 I mean like Tsutaya games. i dont know if this game require more than 3.

this one works differently then other dmm games. you just need upgrade material and you can do it at any time. all it does is increase their maximum level. the card will still be at the level it was before the upgrade. no extra copy of cards required.

Some Tips:

1. Do the questline until u beat the 3rd level boss, then take the rewards from the mission window. You can get A LOT of exp cards that can boost ALL of your good starter cards (SR with high cost, etc) with some leftovers. Not to mention the final reward is Strategist Ryumei, an SR card that is worth 10k battle points (in Arena/Tournament). This is an event related mission, it will end at 8th August 2015.

2. Use some of your gatcha tickets to get other good starter cards. I used around 5 or 6, i got the idol nana & berserker sylvie from them (i might just be lucky).

3. You can get unlimited Gatcha Points by doing arena, with your time being the tradeoff . 400 Gatcha Points for every win, which means 10 pulls every 5 wins.

4. Inventory expansion items goes into Other > Inventory > Upgrade Materials.

I won't delve into deck building as that's where all the fun is .

Ah yeah, I just noticed I'm getting gacha points for both arena wins and losses. So you can just endlessly farm arena for gacha points. Man, I'm so happy I have Thursday and Friday off from work.

On another note, just from what I can see from the Premium Gacha card list, I foresee a pay2win environment, but honestly that's really the standard for all CCG's/TCG's on the market. Maybe I'm just jaded from my previous experiences with MTG, Pokemon and Yugioh, but that fact really doesn't faze me much. So long as I can show up to the events, get my cool promo card and have some fun duels, I could care less about placing for the top-tier prizes. Guess we'll see how it goes, though. If the game uses an event reward system similar to PPS/Hellfire Girls, then I'd be perfectly happy with that.

I still remember ppl making a huge ruckus how Charizard card being auctioned for tons of cash -.-

Although lately i don't see much about TGC game, guess the hype already down for a long time.
and yep this 1 is paid to win.... not just card even exp is sold for money.

1.6k doesn't sound incredibly high for a 9 cost card. Some of the fire deck berserker girls I've seen have been around 2k unbuffed without their first evolution.

if you want to see a overpower card might as well just check the wiki or see what the gacha roll give you -.-

Not sure where I was offensive, just saying you seem to be exaggerating a bit.

Hero Sakura also comes from the Starter Light deck, she comes in full batch of 3, pretty damn powerful once upgraded.

Yup she just a normal rare card, but fighting enemy who have those card max lv is painful, while your own deck still barely lv-ed up...

And i don't mean exaggerating so much....
i was just expressing that even the AI is dumb, but once you fight some overpowered card... it can be a real pain to win...

from begining to the end all i see is his deck out powered me with all those R HR card at his disposal (didn't even see any bronze border)..
Well you can also guess what happen if you fought HR-SR-SSR card fully lv-ed ? (there also low costing high rare card in there after all)

Edit: Woot pulled myself a nice card... low stat but that skill effect..... yummy
