I'm not sure why you had to bring up 'Feminist & SJW groups' seeing as Japanese censorship dates back to before WW2.
I'm not talking about censoring crotch lol ... .

Before rapelay incident that was instigated by SJWs and Feminists there is no bill about protecting imaginary girls in japan (and in US too) & none of the japan eroge companies' website IP blocking foreign access.

So I'm not sure why you're insists that SJW & feminazis are innocent lol .. are you one of them?

This discussion is going in a potentially dangerous direction, so how about we just go back to saying how hyped we are about this? This was a pretty big surprise to me, so yaaay. -aboard hype train-

I played halfway through this (or maybe a third? it's a long game). The H scenes have AliceSoft's sexy art, and tons of variety with fetishes for everyone. Every kind of monster/kaijin rape and lots of exhibitionism/mind control, but also consensual sex, corruption, consensual and non-consensual BDSM, even a few romantic light femdom scenes. And nearly every H scene is optional, so you can pick what you want to an extent. The two main heroine are both cute, especially Narika.

It's an entertaing story, but I sucked at the gameplay. The inability to grind is rough, and it got progressively harder to win until I couldn't beat one particular mission. I'm curious where the plot was headed, so maybe I'll try it again when it comes out.

Yes, there are. In both countries. Canada has similar laws as well.

Oh and for the record, Canada dropped the case after a YEAR of fucking him over through the legal system. But lets blame SJWs and feminists right?

Just play Sengoku Rance. If you like that, than try the older stuff.
Which one is that? And why that particular one?

As for the game(s) itself, I'm not too interested in it. I'm more interested in the prospect of more games being localized in the future. This is nothing more than ICE SHAVINGS compared to the Antarctica-sized iceburg that is the hentai industry.

dude, the japanese bill for protecting imaginary girls is created after SJW & feminazis make a fuss over Rapelay. That's why we arrive at this state: japanese eroge dev blocking foreign IP etc, censorship towards imaginary girls (I'm not talking about mosaic, I'm talking about the removal/changes to the content to suit the stupid law - like everyone suddenly age 18+ despite the game is only ecchi with no actual sex content).

And your links is only support the fact that Feminzai has make canada government super paranoid against adult product with imaginary girls (lol?). The incident described in your link happen after the Rapelay incident.

So yeah, it's caused by feminists & SJW bullshit.

It's really appalling when i see people supporting SJWs & feminazis ... . The site is about stopping bullies who write misleading hatefull reviews about books in stores like amazon, etc but recently feminist sites & SJWs are included in the list of dangerous people doing the bullying lol.

yup, SJWs & feminaziss not only invaded video gamess & comics, they're attacking novel authors too.

for the mods, feel free to lock this thread, it's the only way you can save imercenary from my facts filled wrath

You know, you can call that censorship, that's just this ;)
Protecting a bunch of drawn pixels is the weirdest thing these people can do. In the same logic, any game with violence in it should be banned because a bunch of pixels is killed in them.
But that had to be expected, modern feminism evolved from a rightful movement (men and women having the same rights) to a self proclaimed Thought-Police that tries to bend women and men to their crazy ideas. These people are more fanatic than religious extremists.

Fixed

but it's cool either way, i played a little bit of haruka and i enjoyed it. i wish escalayer reboot was being translated first.
I love Narika more than Escalayer though ;~;

Although I want both games to be translated <3

Re: Beat Blade Haruka (Alicesoft - Official English Release)

I think is simple a test, maybe alicesoft wants to know how many of us will go and buy the game that why is not one of their "big" titles (and i mean rance!)
dude, alicesoft give no fuck about gaijin. the thing about why they'd like to localize Haruka is because someone is pushing them, again, because someone pushed them to. read from this site

Alicesoft is really didn't give a single care if there are fan translations (or illegal translations as they said). they never view the outside world as profitable enough to buy their games.

i would rather have Rance 6 over Haruka just because it's near 88%. now look what happened.

Personally, I never cared for the Rance series. I've never tried them, but I can never find anyone who can explain to me why I should try them without immediately going total fanboy on me.
then what the fuck are you replying to me for? gtfo, right now

You should try them because it has nice artwork, heroic rapist asshole protagonist. its also funny.

Translators going legit huh? does this mean i'll get a Daiteikoku translation in 11 years?

make it 50 years. as Mangagamer absorbing more translator, you'll expect to get Softhouse-Seal stuff than anything else from Mangagamer. or basically any bad Nukige. they're prioritizing Nukige over anything else. this collab with Alicesoft is just one thing, if not, one time.

Re: Beat Blade Haruka (Alicesoft - Official English Release)

Pretty happy to see Alicesoft stuff coming over though I was a little distracted by another title announcement. Makes me wonder how many half translated titles from translators end up approaching companies like MG to go the rest of the way. After that how do they somehow approach a developer and go "well we've already been translating your product for a while now how about we go officially all the way. I've omitted which one I mean intentionally.
Quite a few official translators now started out on fan translators but theirs obviously a few Japanese companies that get bothered by fan translation works in the first place.
Pretty certain and above comment is in regards to MG absorbing Translators which is pretty interesting to see when I hear other similar companies fuss that they don't want more competition in the overall amount.

Ha. Just before you posted, I got told to 'gtfo' instead. I don't think the Rance games can be that good if asking for a reason to play them is enough to be thrown out.

And translators have always been going legit. Its just that people don't like to share information like that because 'fan communities' are batshit insane.

the problem with you is your attitude and but you don't even realize it.

this is where should you start the saga if interested
and why it's good for a lot of people (so ignore this if you know what rance is about)

where do i start and why?

-you probably don't want to play a super oldschool game like rance 1 without knowing what you are getting into but...
-if you can swallow old school graphics, play kichikuo rance (which is a spinoff and doesn't follow canon story, yet showcases you almost all characters)

-if you can't play an old game without context, play sengoku. why?

-its the best translated rance game
-deep rpg system (different allied clases, powerups)
-deep strategy aspects(different factions, resources management, extreme time limitations)
-Extremely deep story: rance wants to fuck all the princesses (and other women as colateral damage) and he has come to japan to fuck kouhime, yet he finds himself in a civil war wich historically takes place in the sengoku era (if you are an anime fan or just know japanese history you will find it Surprisingly accurate) and allies with nobunaga, to unite japan, and fuck all women!!!!!!
-good cg
-rance is honest, strong, horny, a stallion, an asshole to men, a gentleman to women (will try to fork them lovingly even if it's rape)

¿and why is the saga good?
-extremely deep universe story: the god of everything ludo, has three underlings that created everything for his amusement, they give every living being a level cap (i.e weak humans can grow to lv 10 and strong ones go to 70)they have skills like swordplay, cooking, archery,blacksmithing,etc...(lv 1 is skilled, lv 2 is a prodigy, lv 3 is a chosen one) and they set a war between humans and the demons, the war is balanced by the presence of a hero and the demon king (super high level caps)... Rance is a glitch in the system, he has no level cap (so he is potentially the strongest being even above ludo) he is misteriously atractive to women (even if they don't realize it) and he does not realize it, so he never activally takes action in the war untill.........

that is just a tip of the story the saga has going (and the universe is shared between other alicesoft titles, the hero o-man and kentarou come from other games for example)

Re: Beat Blade Haruka (Alicesoft - Official English Release)

Rance lore makes me regret not playing and understanding all of the Rance games. Unfortunately, I can't bear to play the old games for many reasons (mostly old-school graphics and out-dated/extinct gameplay mechanics), so I make do with reading up on the universe. It's very easy to forget said universe/lore exists when you're playing the games though.

There here a recap of what happen in the first 3 game available on the web it's called Rance digest , it let you read the stories without playing the game . If you really , really don't want to play the game yet want to know about Rance that's your best bet .

Re: Beat Blade Haruka (Alicesoft - Official English Release)

also, the lore on the alicesoft wiki is a good place to read interesting stuff, though the content isn't organized by game, it's organized by the timeline (from the first demon king to L.P)

EDIT:better not turn this thead into a rance one XD

Come on guys. Beat Blade Haruka is one of, if not THE most faptastic game in Alicesoft's lineup. Or maybe of all nukige ever released, even. That's good news enough to celebrate for.

(Personally I find the Rance game to be pretty meh beyond the involving gameplay that was Sengoku Rance)

I agree with you that the gameplay of Rance series beside Sengoku are pretty meh, just old school turn base RPG and nothing more.

However, the charm of Rance series to me is not the gameplay nor the lore but the titular character himself. After you play all the game, connected all the dot about Rance personality and background, you could see he has a deep characterization and consistence character development through out all the game. Grown out from a passionate youth to a respectable man in a span of 7 year.
