Thanks to JAB's effort to help me out with my concern, and to my sudden interest to this game, I explored with the options.

Now I would like to share them with you!

New update on the blog, looks like the game is complete and he's bug testing now. it also features a bunch of H-animations, one of which suggests that the mother character will have some H of her own.

As a fan of Barrage! I'm looking forward to it, but back when I tried the demo, I couldn't make heads or tails of the menus. I'll be more inclined to give it another go with a full game behind the confusion. Hopefully there is a rough english translation to some of the menu content because even with the help on the first couple pages I couldn't get anywhere.

I dunno why not enough people monitor this game. It's perfect for me, especially, if not because of, the sprite sex animation.

From creator's blog:

"In the future, I'm going to do the translation work to find the spare time.
As soon as the translation is finished, I will start on sale in English page.

But, as consideration for the English users who purchased the JP version,
I'll do an update that is included with the EN version of the JP version.

So we can expect an Official English ver from Eng DLSite. Just dunno how the quality of English will be.

So far, honestly, the animations are just spectacular, but the gameplay is fucking infuriating to me. I'm getting really frustrated playing it, and I'm thinking of just waiting for someone to get a save going, or if someone finds a way to cheat and get a shit ton of the in-game currency to buy the gallery animations. Other than that, I may not keep playing the game, I'm not really having fun.

There's an OMAKE zip file in \bmp\picture\GO that's password protected. I'm going to assume that the password is offered when beating the last stage.

It seems like the alternate character skin color isn't available after beating the first stage like someone said earlier - maybe its another game clearing reward?

There's also a bug in which if you get defeated in a level and the first game over CG screen comes up, you can then move your character and even go to the end of the level. This doesn't work when defeated by a boss, though.

Nvm, I unlocked all the animations...but not the ones with human skin. I'm not actually sure how to unlock those at this point. If anyone gets a better save than mine, please, post it here.

I don't know. Gameplay is fun and simple, you just need so spend some time with it, scenes are... Ugh-h, you're basically playing as a black silhoutte with the outline of a woman. So you can't see shit. Author has left lots of space for your imagination. Well, fuck that, I'm a lazy fapper.
Anyway...
You can cheat crystals with Cheat Engine and unlock everything you want. Don't know if there is a different skin color, because I haven't finished the game yet.
Blue button -- press another Blue button below to choose stage with arrows and then start it by pressing C.
Bright Pink button -- two buttons below: 1) Purple unlocks new summons. 2) Dark-ish whateveryoucallit Pink button unlocks scenes.
Green button -- save menu, you need to press X in order to find an option to save or load the game.
And finally the Orange button, which has Pale Pink button below and this button shows the gallery. You can press C to show the scene fullscreen and press S to change the backround.
I don't care if someone already posted this info, I just know how lazy you can be to not want to read even only five pages.

That doesn't seem to be working in the full version, it did in the demo.

Has anyone seen how you save? I don't see any menu options for it, and I'm pretty sour from quitting out of the game and it not having saved any progress. EDIT: Never mind, just saw in the instructions above, thanks.

-x - After checking the gallery, it seems the author might've not finished the human sprites in time? Half the gallery is under 'future content'.
