So I'm still stuck at the 2nd town in the pub with the stupid questions ordeal.
I've even replaced the translation after decrypting the file, but it didnt work.
I'm guessing I should download the whole translation patch, but I'm also feeling that that shouldnt be the reason the last patch shouldnt work..

U must remove extracted file from directory as well

Easily one of the best H games I have played for a while. I especially like all those repeatable mini events. Too often you have a completely undressed heroine and people just ignore her.

Is there any way to have a completely transparent dialogue panel, to see the characters cg?

Ummm... I think you should be able to transfer over Skills, Items and such from my translation over to this version without any problems. Common Events, Scripts and maybe some maps are probably the only thing Clymentia messed with in the updates.

If I understand well, I need to download your Data.rar, but only keep :
- Actors.rvdata2
- Animations.rvdata2
- Armors.rvdata2
- Classes.rvdata2
- Enemies.rvdata2
- Items.rvdata2
- Skills.rvdata2
- Weapons.rvdata2
- Troops.rvdata2

So that it's compatible with 1.03?

edit: I compared 1.01 and 1.03, and it seems something in Items.rvdata2 was also changed...

Ok, quick and dirty change to the palette to make it transparent when characters talk (but not when characters are only thinking for themselves).

Simply unzip attached window.png in \Graphics\System

for anyone who still needs to get past this guy, I've went ahead and translated the correct answers. so, when you talk to him, the right answer will be in English, and the rest will be in Japanese. toss this on top of my partial, and only use if you just want to get past this guy.

hmm the partial works fine but this does not change anything for me, his answers are still in japanese. I just copied this over the default map137.rvdata2

Could someone please share a non corrupted audio folder or explain me how to fix it?

Its not corupted, open your adudio directory and most of files will be like that one, if you will get to work that file, in diferent scene, wont work diferent file - the reason is that windows don't understand japanese characters
-solution, change your system locale to japanese and extract game again.

I've tried it.

I ran windows in Japanese.
I ran windows normally and then switched to Japanese (I have the lang installed)
I've used Applocale/NTLEA
I've tried also extracting these files with all above methods.
I've also tried to run 7zip with Applocale/NTLEA and then extract the files.
Finally I also downloaded a hotfix from microsoft.

Nothing works...

if you find how to make it work, you should share : there probably people with the same problem who didn't found a way to make it work. They'll be thankfull (well, mentally at least. Dunno about how many will actually say "thank" in the thread or gave you a reput thump up).

Well there are no problems, I can share it.

Basically my issue was that I wasn't switching properly my local setting to Japanese. My bad.
When you go switch your local setting make sure to change the current language in the last tab: Administration Options > Change current language for non unicode softwares.
Otherwise it will only switch the visualization language and nothing else.

Second thing, don't use WinZip.

Zip files are probably the most common ones among compressed formats. However while .RAR and .7zip do support unicode encrypting the .zip format doesn't.

In few words:

1 - If the software has been compressed with WinRar / 7zip > Just extract it, will be fine.

2 - If the software has been compressed with WinZip > Change your local settings and extract it with WinRar / 7zip

In some cases if you open the sound tracks with a audio player, such as WinAmp, you can rightclick on the tracks and check information. It might save the right filename there so just copy it and rename the file manually. Repeat it for all the audiofiles which report a wrong name visualization.

追記1.06にアップデートしました。
ご報告いただいた、ミニイベント『訓練』後に移動速度が低下する場合がある
不具合の修正と、追加ミニイベントの回想をフルオープンにするレバーの追加です。

- fixes a small bug where the player will move slowly after the "訓練" event.
- adds a lever that unlocks all recollection room events (I think).

Clymenia's really outdid himself this time (uhhhgh, so many events; I love it). Loved his 3rd game (Witch Act) as well as this one. He's now among my favorite 5 indie devs (since House and Poison started slacking, and Sugar Star's art never evolved); already looking forward to his 6th game.

So, I've taken it onto myself to make a quick hotfix for those unwilling to redownload the game just for two small fixes. Attached to this post is just a fix for the event.

Note that the bug is not game-breaking as it has a workaround: even without version 1.06 (or this fix), one can still fix their slow movement speed by using the speed changing "★速度変更★" item found in the chest on the 2nd floor of the CG/recollection room. While the fix isn't exactly mandatory, I just thought it nicer to have a bug-less game.

Instructions for using the attached hotfix (also included in the .zip in a .txt file):

1. Extract the contents of this .ZIP into the game folder (where the "Game.exe" and other files are)

2. Drag the "Game.rgss3a" file over the newly extracted "RGSS Extractor.exe". This will extract the compressed rgss3a file's contents into two new folders, "Data" and "Graphics".

3. Move the "Map420.rvdata2" file (that was extracted from this .ZIP) into that new "Data" folder. Overwrite when prompted.

4. Rename (or delete) the "Game.rgss3a" file.
- (I recommend just renaming it to "Game.rgss3a.bak", as standard practice for backing up original files.)

5. Make sure that you did step 4. If you don't do it, the "Game.exe" will still run off the "Game.rgss3a" file instead of the contents of the newly extracted and modified "Data" folder.

6. Rejoice.
