Great VN; excellent animation, good music, well done character narrations, everything was executed quite well considering the mediocre story. The description of the scenes added to the animation during hscenes. You get to see what and how exactly the characters are feeling that's not shown in the animations. Great game to read during holidays.

The last scene was funny, those girls had it coming though I can't blame them, who would know that you can't lift the curse by copulating with a partner that gave it to you in the first place, you just make it stronger . They did just that, found out what happened, and then the curse spread through the class like wildfire with its vastly increased strength and effect (because those two idiots tried to lift it from eachother a vast amount of times *wink wink*).

I thought Witch's Garden(vndb.org/v8438) had dangerously mesmerizing character animations but this VN tops it off, in a different way.

Wow this game. At first I thought it was straight up nukige, and it still is that, but it definitely has an artistic feel to it as well. It's not particularly long either, which means it should be pretty easy to translate if a method of inserting subtitles as well as extracting scripts/re-inserting is figured out. Might be a little difficult since the game is in flash player?

Small summary of the contents in the game:

There is no precise "protagonist" of the story or anything, as the game follows the stories of various girls who are attending the same school, but I guess Itsuki is the one the most time is spent on. At this school, a certain curse is being continually transmitted, which turns one in to a demon if it is not dispelled. The method of dispelling the curse from yourself is simple: by transmitting it to someone else through sexual intercourse. The person you have sex with will then have the curse transmitted to them, and so the cycle continues. It's mindful to note that one cannot transmit the curse back to the person one received the curse from.

That's not what's particularly interesting about the game though, in fact it's probably one of the less interesting parts. The character relationships are a bit more interesting, so I'll describe a little bit about Itsuki.

Itsuki (Also called snow white): Is the first character you meet. She is introduced as a character with a dark and sheltered past, as her pious father shuts her away from the world in an attempt to prevent her from being tainted. Specifically, this includes talking and playing to other boys and girls, as they would taint her purity. In the introduction we are then told that her father then left her alone, which led her to finally being free, and coming to this school. There is more going on than initially told about why her father left her alone, and neither are blameless. Strong christian symbology. I really like what they did with her backstory.

You then meet Madoka, Kaori, and Haruka, who seem like annoying bitches (we meet them from PoV of Itsuki), but after the first two chapters or so the game begins developing on their relationships with each other as well and they begin becoming more understandable rather than cliche annoying girls(still a LITTLE bit cliche maybe).

Oh yeah, Yuri. Temporary futanari as well (the demon has magic that can make a penis that is apparently formed out of the feelings within someone and disappears once satisfied, handy stuff)

If a translation is not possible I could look to make a summary of the events in regards to the story of each chapter at some point.

Ah......I was suppose to be writing a full Rondo summary but I forgot all about it. if you're going to make one...I'll warn you that it's probably best to do a timeline summary rather than a chapter by chapter....there are a lot of flashbacks and background stories that get told throughout the game.

I intended to do a chapter by chapter one to give a feel of what playing the game is like alongside some commentary, because the order knowledge is given to you is part of the artistic quality of the game. It makes you think certain things, and then additional information is given to you which changes your thoughts about everything all of the sudden.

Yeah, I'm aware of what happened in Itsuki's past. They seem like annoying bitches for other reasons than that though, with how they're all being ridiculously jiggly and over-exaggerated, although that may be a bit affected due to Itsuki's point of view.

I would save energy unless there's a really high demand for some summary TL. In the end, this VN will be used as fap material, no one really cares about the details.

I have a feeling flash was just used to package everything together, all the animation, art, effects, etc were obviously done in some other 3D design program.

It's too bad Tinklebell didn't TL this and market it to West- OH YEAH THE AGE THING!!11 .

Really too bad, would take at most 2 days to TL everything. I wouldn't even try decrypting the flash files and doing it yourself as you would end up putting in as much effort as Tinklebell did to get everything just right. Recompiling the game after decrypting would itself be an issue unless you know exactly how Tinklebell compiled it in the first place. It's just a complete mess. They would generate a lot of sales too... Their loss.

Some random trivia;

1. The father isn't a bad guy. He was just trying to protect his daughter and the mother from the "sin" committed on that day. The sin witnessed by the demon.
2. The demon witnessed the "sin" of the father to which Itsuki was the result. The church was actually a hideout of the demon, she just happened to pass by and witness it. Why is a demon in the church in the first place? She's hiding from the stronger demons which can't approach the church.
3. The demon had two roles given, take the daughter away from the father, corrupt him, isolate the daughter, corrupt her.
4. The demon also committed a "sin", which explains the ending. She wasn't supposed to stay by Itsuki's side and love her.
5. Itsuki gave the demon a human name, which explains the ending.
6. hahahaha... Haruka, it was her aim all along to get raped by Misaki. That was her fourth time being afflicted with the curse, meaning she needs to curse four other students to lift it. Why? Her body got addicted to the pleasure it brings, along with the rest of the students
7. The student body hated and despised Misaki for raping half the school and spreading the curse, at first, but in the end they all ended up being drunk from the pleasure it brought fourth .

You have to hold down the left mouse button on the red button to skip stuff.

On your control box, the musical note icon should lead you to the specific audio controls. (If only there was a way to make the game remember them between scenes.)

I haven't seen 1.03. Does it add anything new or just bug fixes? The DLsite page still shows 1.01.

It just occurred to me. I don't think I've seen or heard of an uncensored version of Rondo Duo. Do you mean that there are different versions with better or worse censorship? I wasn't even aware of that.

Both the game version and video file versions I have are censored, but its not a particularly bad job of it as far as that goes.
