Re: [RJ132102]MATURE QUEST(own bought)

I think this will be the last save I'll be uploading for this game. The main story is complete and I'm pretty sure I've beaten every boss, including the hidden ones. I've watched the ending, "Fin..." and all, and afterwards they drop you back into the game so you can explore and collect any scenes you've missed.
The problem is certain scenes, particularly two-three scenes with children in the first town, are apparently bugged and unattainable. The developer claims to have fixed them in 1.05 so until that version shows up we're SOL.
Like before there's an item in the inventory for defeating the strongest hidden boss that unlocks all scenes and CGs in the gallery. So you can use that if you don't want to wait for 1.05.
To view the ending again you can complete the final dungeon again, though most of the floor switch puzzles should be complete so getting to the end again shouldn't be too tedious. This way you can check out the different endings after collecting the rest of the scenes (using the gallery unlock item will not change the ending).

Here's the fixed walkthrough for what to do after you get the boat if you don't want to use the complete save.

-Get the world map if you haven't already. It's located in a well near the northwest tower, the one that has the old man who makes keys. Use your boat to get to it.
-Next go to the large, northeastern continent. You'll notice three inlets on the southside of the continent leading inland. Take the middle inlet where you'll run into a floodgate
-Disembark and travel to the town nearby. Speak with the residents who will complain about the lack of water and talk about the old man who went to the cave up north to solve the problem.
-Trek north and go through the cave. Defeat the demon at the end.
-Return to the town where the water has been restored. Speak with the old man to get him to open the floodgate. Also make sure to interact with the water to get some of it. This is necessary for later.
-Take the boat through the floodgate and all the way upstream until you get to a shrine/cave at the rivers end. Go through the cave until you get the last key. This key will open up any grey, iron gate door. (Use the warp out of dungeon spell to leave since you can't leave normally).
-Head to the rock formation that's on the very northeast edge of the map. You'll find a dilapidated ship. Go through it and grab the Sailor's Diary.
-Go to the destroyed town (the one surrounded by poison) that's near the castle city. Find the spirit that is in one of the destroyed houses and give the diary to her. She will then allow you to grab the sea gem from her corpse.
-Go the castle that gave you the boat and head south to fight the Kraken. Defeat it to gain access to the underwater shrine. The gem will grant you access to the rest of the shrine. Defeat the boss at the end to rid the ocean of path-blocking vortexes.
-With the vortexes gone you can head to the icy, southwestern continent. Go to the shrine there and speak with the man there. He will give you an item capable of destroying mountains.
-If you haven't already, go to the brothel town at night and defeat the thugs harassing the nun. Now head to the inn/church that's surrounded by forest. Speak with the nun and, using the water you got from the town with the floodgate, she'll give you an item that you can use on the twig looking thing east of the inn/church.
-Go through the newly grown tree dungeon. Collect the stick at the top and defeat the boss.
-Head back to the bar in the starting town and speak to the woman behind the counter. She'll ask you for 10000g to add a second floor. Do so and check the pots in the new expansion. You'll get a stone of thirst.
-After witnessing the events at the elf village head to the bazaar, which is on a sandy island on the eastern part of the map. Speak with the NPCs at the slave auction and one of them will tell you that the Elf and Jewel you're looking for were sold to a rich man who lives on a tiny island that's on the southeastern part of the map.
-Go to the island and the man will ask for two items in exchange for the jewel and elf. First is the Earth's Umbilical, which is located in a dungeon in the eye shaped land that's to the left of the eastern continent.
-The second item is Orc sperm. Warp to the floodgate town and take the boat through the river towards the shrine/cave with the last key. About halfway there you can disembark to get to the town of Yamato (has brown NPCs wearing green clothes) and the shrine of Yamato, a cave located north of the town. In the third floor of the shrine walk around until you fight a pink orc creature. Defend yourself until it rapes you in combat. Defeat it and the boss here for good measure.
-Head back to Yamato and speak to the woman standing near the bookshelf in the large, northernmost building. She'll extract the sperm. You might have to beat the boss here as well before you can extract the sperm.
-With both items in hand return to the rich man and he'll give you the jewel and the elf. Return the elf to her village and head to the center island on the map that has a ton of poison on it. Use the mountain destroying item, then the stone of thirst to gain access to the forest and castle.
-Make your way through both and beat the boss at the end.
-OPTIONAL:go back to the cave where the bandits took your husband at the very beginning. There will be a hole there that you can enter, followed by a lengthy dungeon. Defeat the boss (it's probably the hardest boss in the game) at the end for the gallery item.
-Return to the demon's castle and enter it. There will be a hole you can enter that will lead to the final dungeon and a destroyed town.
-Enter the destroyed town and beat the boss, then talk to the bandit leader in the cell underneath the town. He'll give you an item.
-Now go to the tower located at the northwestern tip of the eastern continent. The man will let you through. Finish the dungeon for the Sacred Jewel, an item needed for the final dungeon.
-Warp to the final dungeon (it's the shaking red castle) and the Sacred Jewel will automatically illuminate the area. Examine the back of the large throne to reveal a hidden staircase. Continue through the dungeon by activating floor switches. Finally, beat the boss.

Thanks for your work Cnby!

I don't know if this has been stated earlier, but I think I have found another spot where you can get infinite gold balls. It can be accessed earlier than the one in Rinne, it's in Daruhaka, the town where you get the pickaxe. The spot is to the right of the stairwell that leads to the sickly men.

Hey Guys,

This may be a bit off topic, but I am curious as to whether anyone else is having this issue. I am using the 1.1 version of the game, but when I try to start it, I get to the initial title screen and press ok, then a message box pops up saying something like:

"(Japanese letters)Audio/SE/Decision1 (Japanese letters)"

Has anyone else seen something like this or know of a way to fix it so that I may start the game. Please reply or inbox me if you know of a way to fix this.

Can buy the bunny suit and the anal skill book from the gold ball(?) collector. I think at least.

Do you have your applocale set to jap? If so then maybe it became corrupt and should redl it.

Re: [RJ132102]MATURE QUEST(own bought)

Wow, spent a lot of time playing this game... Only made it to level 19 but here's what I got so far:

3 - しっぷうづき (Shippuzuki) - 0 MP, first strike skill w/ reduced damage.
5 - ホイミ (Hoimi) - 3 MP, minor heal spell
6 - メーラ (Mera) - 4 MP, small fireball spell
7 - キアリー (Kiari) - 3 MP, antidote
8 - ノーム (Gnome) - 4 MP, debuff, causes enemies to miss physical attacks more
9 - マバリア (Magic Barrier) - MP, buff, mitigates magical damage
10 - しのびあし (Shinobiashi) - 0 MP, command spell, decreases encounter rate, ルカニ (Rukani) - MP, debuff, lowers enemy defense, うたう (Utau) - 0 MP, command spell, increases encounter rate
11 - ディフェンダー (Defender) - MP, buff, increases self-defense
12 - マフージ (Mafuuji) - buff, makes enemy spells miss more? ワクチー (Wakuchi) - cold cure, ラリホー (Rariho) - makes enemies sleep?
13 - もろばぎり (Moroba-giri) - 0 MP
14 - べホイミ (Behoimi) - 8 MP, greater heal
17 - さみだれぎり (Samidare-giri), 0 MP, hits all enemies, みかわしきゃく (Mikawashikyaku)

Messy, messy list. Anyway, Majin-giri should pop up at level 20 or 21, but I soon found out that it's not as necessary if you open up all the chests at the gold collector's place.

Also found out that you can't invite Gustav at all stages of his event chain, and there doesn't seem to be anything beyond getting whored out. Even though there's supposed to be according to the dev blog, so I'm hoping that was fixed in 1.05.

Speaking of which! Can the original uploaders update their links to v1.05? That'd be great!

Hey, I in fact do have my system locale set to jap and have tried re downloading various copies of the game, could it be a possible bad rgss202j.dll file download or what other reason could there be?

If possible could you link me to a version that has worked for you of the game?

Image Capture of the issue is included as an attachment for anyone interested or with a possible solution.

I'm having that same problem, the files in the audio folders are named as if they are in a language not recognized by my pc, which would explain why the game can't find the Japanese labels for the files but not why my pc decides to forget Japanese only when I extract this game -.-

Will give advice if I get my titlecard audio issues ousted.

Thanks Anonolurker, just in case you want to see my Audio/SE directory I will include an attachment to this reply and for anyone else following this issue who may want to offer some insight or interest into this issue:

What a weird problem, I don't have a file called Decision1 in my copy of the game but it still runs fine...

Make a copy of one of the audio files in that directory and rename it to the missing file name, see if that works.

Well, I got mine working, not sure why it worked but basically a generic "did you try turning it off and on again" got mine to work, I changed all my region settings to USA and then back to Japan/Japanese. Well got passed the Title card anyway.

I don't think that would solve your problem though, I can't read a single character of the Japanese language, but that all looks like your pc knows what it means.

Hey Plate,

I just tried that actually, but it sadly did not work, I am so confused I have never had this sort of an issue with an RPG maker game before.

Do you think it might have to do with the rgss202j.dll file used?

If not do you think maybe I could see or get a copy of your Audio directory as maybe mine is mislabelled or something due to setting my system locale to Japan?

Re: [RJ132102]MATURE QUEST(own bought)

Ok I found a solution to the Decision 1 audio file missing in the SE Directory.

Essentially, for anyone else having the same issue, look under your program files (x86) folder then go into common files and then enterbrain. If you have the RPG Maker VX RTP installed then you should see a folder called RGSS2.

In that folder open RPG Maker VX then go to Audio then the SE folder. Copy the Decision 1 and Decision 2 ogg files from that folder then paste them into the SE directory of Mature Quest.

Try running the game after that and it should work now.

Uh wish I could help you there, but I haven't gotten that far yet since I've restarted.

I'm a little stuck myself actually, I'm trying to get the orichalcum in the quest chain to obtain the Sword of the Valiant (or something like that) and I'm just... lost.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the above sword is one of the Hero Equips you can obtain, and is probably the most annoying to get. You start off in Miore, go to the well at night with 100+ lewdness and let the old guy bury himself in your breasts, he'll give you a brooch.

As it turns out, that brooch was what the rich guy in Port Gar was looking for, give it to him and he'll give you a Diamond. Go to the Desert Bazaar. You'll need to have sex with the guard blocking the way to the stairwell. Once he's out of the way go down and open the cell with the Last Key and talk to the Nun. Give her the Diamond and the the child next to her will vanish, use the pickaxe to obtain an ammonite fossil. Take the fossil to the guy who will sell you increasingly expensive things (capping out at 10k), he'll trade you a vibrator for it.

Go to the forest village at night, give the vibrator to your exhibitionist nun friend and she'll forever be your bestest friend in the world and will also give you an Abnormal Book. Teleport to Rinne or Karai and sail north until you reach the well with all the books. Go to the left most bookshelves, the man will stop you, but will let you proceed. Obtain the memo.

And here's where I'm lost. The memo will lead you to the first floor of the tower where you got the first two keys from. (It'll have the huge face pattern on it).

From what I could get from google translate, apparently I'm supposed to mine the left cheek or something... Then from a pillar in the northeast, go east 4, north 6, west 2... But unfortunately, no results. If anyone has gotten the sword, could they tell me how to proceed from here? In the meantime I'll continue to try to figure it out :x.

EDIT: HAHAHA. Figured it out a minute after I was complaining. When the memo means left, it's from the perspective of the face its referring to. So from our top-down perspective, it would be the right cheek. So head to the right cheek, at the very back middle of it (You'll know it by the farthest set of carved tiles) there will be a hidden staircase, go down it and you'll end up in a room with four pillars. Go to the bottom of the northeastern pillar then head right 4, up 6, left 2. There will be another hidden staircase on the tile you end up standing on. Go down those stairs and open up the cell with your Last Key and obtain the orichalcum!

It's pretty random, took me a couple of tries before I got him to appear, try going to the underground holding cell a couple of times as well.

Once you become the No. 2 hostess you'll have access to a room that's right next to the No. 1 room. In the drawer you'll be able to obtain the dancer outfit!
