Re: [RJ131698]Sword Princess Cistina - The Chosen Saint(own bought)

did anybody else realize that if you only open the demon lord's chest and leave the rest for after the petrification event you can start the game with over 600k in gold?

Puff..

I'm gonna give it another month, then I'm gonna carry over the translation. I might even do my own translation of armor and weapons ^_^

Re: [RJ131698]Sword Princess Cistina - The Chosen Saint(own bought)

In my mind, if there is one recent h-rpg that would deserve thorough attention by skilled translators it would be this one. Only con to it really is that my princess destroys everything in front of her, single-handledly... still it remains fun.

Anyway, I've started another run by by giving her weaker gear (nothing bought from stores, only can use if found). This time I also pay more attention to side quests.

Does anyone know how to get behind these walls ?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Re: [RJ131698]Sword Princess Cistina - The Chosen Saint(own bought)

Enter the labyrinth, go east until the last room, then you will see hole to jump down, there is a switcher to open 4 door portal (in the upper west area of the labyrinth).

The one thing I really didn't like was the cloth destruction. The worst thing you can do is tie it up with HP.

Thank you, my princess shall go and investigate.

I agree with you about tieing clothing status with HP being cheap design, but correct me if I am wrong, the game doesn't exactly do that.

Once your health drops, the protection of your clothing wears down, which kind of makes sense (battle wear and all that). If the clothing status drops to a certain level, you get a yellow buff (I can't tell what it's called, it doesn't get translated with AGTH). If clothing wears even further down, you get a red buff. Both buffs remain for the duration of the battle, even if you heal yourself. They disappear once you leave the battle, which again makes kind of sense (the princess has time to rearrange/fix her clothes). I assume that the red buff gives a significant bonus to enemies to have fun with the princess.

I can only guess from what I see happening in-game, but if I am correct, I thought this system to be rather clever. Better than a "have to walk around naked till you can buy sewing kits or whatever" system, and definitely an improvement over a basic "fix your clothes with a healing spell" system, yeah.

The best way in my opinion would be to do like Moonlit Witches or Virgin Island where it's a chance on hit to damage clothes. Meaning whether you're at full health you can still have clothe destruction or still keep you're clothes at low health. There was other games that also did it by skills. Every enemy had a clothes ripping skill.

But I do agree that assuming she'll fix her own clothes at the end of battle would work best BUT that's not entirely true in this game. If you're low on HP after the battle is over, she reminds in that state of dress she had. So if your clothes were ripped and she has low HP outside of battle, she stays nude until you heal her.

No walkthrough per se. this guy won't cross sea because of level 50 monsters. You need to Sacred Mirror to repel them. Get it by talking to Mayor of other town this side of mountains on this continent and going to basement of Church there.

Once you cross, you will need to talk to descendant of Saint in next town. He does not have full power of Saint. You are informed that there are 4 portals that must be sealed to limit power of demon you released. Here are some notes I made about finding them (from posts made here).

To get Holy Sword, you must have Holy Water to break seal that holds it in place in orc stronghold. See notes. Sword also is needed to seal the portals. So do orc stronghold after getting water, before doing any portal tower. I think you will be forced to fight (or surrender) to orcs before you can interact with sword. Afterwards, touch sword and use Holy Water and fight again. If you talk to chief beforehand, it is a wasted fight.

I made a recent post about getting Heart skills - you may want to find it.

After portals sealed and meetings that follow, you are directed to birth Saint child. See endings.txt. Once ready go to other dock from one you arrived at.

:p

So if I use the newest version, the translation will not work? Anyone have the older version of this game compatible with the trans patch? I'm short on freetime so waiting mean hell to me :(

If you use patch on new version it would just likely revert the version to 6.0 mostly. No guarantee.

Yep, that's exactly what's going to happen.

You can still copy some of the translation and not mess anything up. Most of the changes he did are stored inside file "Scripts.rvdata2"

So theoretically if he didn't do any changes to "Items, weapons, enemies, armor, UI" you can copy

Actors.rvdata2
Items.rvdata2
Weapons.rvdata2
Armors.rvdata2
Items.rvdata2
Enemies.rvdata2
Classes.rvdata2
Skills.rvdata2
States.rvdata2
System.rvdata2

Just remember that if he did any changes to items, they will be gone if you copy over the translation from previous version. Chances are he didn't do anything with those. He could have added new items or something like that, but to confirm you would need to open both versions and compare items.

If you do this then you would have some the the UI translated since that translation is stores inside scripts.rvdata2 which you can't carryover from previous version if you want to have 8.1

You can either do this or be patient and wait till me (I'll wait for another month or so, just to be sure he doesn't release another update) or yugi does it and uploads it for you guys.

v8.1 still clothes bug when got status or low mana... it's kind of annoying...

Re: [RJ131698]Sword Princess Cistina - The Chosen Saint(own bought)

He probably gave up on that bug, considering it was one of the most obvious bugs in the game and still ignored.

You get that outfit from one of the normal endings, where you don't have sex with the male MC. You are given a choice to have sex with him or not, but this may also require you to be a virgin and pick no, I can't remember exactly how I got it, just that I was given a scene at the end in the garden area in the snowy mountains near the beginning of the game where she was running away from someone in this dress, then in the next playthrough she was wearing it from the start.

Hum, that explains a few things. So you must get that with a true virgin ending as opposed to the happy ending where she does Lewis after the credits. That ending might also be the key to unlocking other things. Thanks a lot! :D
