I think this should be Pansy Parkinson.the blonde girl (dat name)
you dont get the point do you... as everyone defending akabur...Just went through the shitstorm on is ask.fm. I find it quite funny to hear people complain about this game and they never paid money for it. Sure some paid and are disappointed, but most of them just complain.

If it is "free" money, why have you not created a game? I mean, according to you, there is no work involved. You simply get the money for "free." Do you not like money?EDIT:at least he can laugh about the issue since free money is always good to have
ok my bad, it's not free money, it's well earned money, but the people giving it to him are the stupid ones to not realize that the "work" they pay for was hardly the cost paid... that or they just love giving money for free, wait, not free... well earnedIf it is "free" money, why have you not created a game? He doesn't miss the point, and you don't have to defend Akabur's game to find people complaining about something they paid nothing for ridiculous. Enjoy the free game OR simply do not download it. Nobody is forcing you to play.
Oh I got your point and I also want a diffrent/better game.you dont get the point do you... as everyone defending akabur...
the problem is NOT the lack of full CG-s the game isn't based around them at all, the problem is... that... it is very boring to play the game, simple as that.
my experience with the game was: laugh my ass off at the snape fight with the final fantasy seven boss music, write a lot, train hermione a bit get bugged a fiction book, being unable to progress since i can't read the first volume of any book, lost two hours and didn't advance further than the buttgrope scene. drop the game
grindind the books is tedious AND a necessity, sinces it triples money hoarding yet it is very boring.
sure, the content IS fun and it is well written, but to get there is a chore and to finish all of them is not fun
just because you don't pay doesn't justify the flaws a game has
just because you pay you are not bound to lick the ass of someone who post thing like "today i wrote over 90 different lines of dialogue for training" and actually meaning "every chapter of every book has a POINTLESS little dialog just to make stupid people say ("oh, he writes a lot")"
wheter someone paid or not, the quality of the game is poor, the design is poor and if you want to get really picky, he shouldn't even be able to use some of the content and be be making profit out of it...
for me at least, akabur lost the huge amount of respect i had for him.
EDIT:at least he can laugh about the issue since free money is always good to have
true you can't complain or demand a thing, but you can still state your opinionyou can only complain if you had paid for the game.
I tried once to do a game (Didn't we all? xD) the amount of work is amaizing, and that just to do the bases of the game, Yummytigger here is doing a game and knows how much work it entails just doing a cg, preparing it to a apropiate quality and all that.ok my bad, it's not free money, it's well earned money, but the people giving it to him are the stupid ones to not realize that the "work" they pay for was hardly the cost paid... that or they just love giving money for free, wait, not free... well earned
i had no idea that giving your opinion on free stuff was ridiculous, sure, being a dick about the creator or the game is inapropiate, but hey...
saying "the game is poorly designed, easily fixable by shortening certain parts of the gameplay and missed a lot of potential" is the right thing to do.
what akabur is doing is basically not taking any criticism at all and you are right, people are behaving like kids toward him but "kids and drunk people don't lie" and i'm pretty damn drunk now
exactly, i agree fully with you , yet "Grinding for the princess with jobs and to send her to the school was replaced with improving the genie" takes the most time of the gameplay and in PT it was not that tedious, here is hold the ctrl key and spam the booksI tried once to do a game (Didn't we all? xD) the amount of work is amaizing, and that just to do the bases of the game, Yummytigger here is doing a game and knows how much work it entails just doing a cg, preparing it to a apropiate quality and all that.
He just tried something new in my opinion is better that princess trainer, the cg that people are missing (And i think that one day will be added) were substitued by gifs, its not worse, its different. Grinding for the princess with jobs and to send her to the school was replaced with improving the genie and the public works as i said, its not worse, its different, people will not like it or will love it but thats how it is, we entered the terrain of personal opinions and that terrain is dangerous and full of discusions xD.
For my part seing that he didin't have coding experience and that he leveled up adding decent animations (Even if they are chibis) and thats a TON of work i'm not dissapointed and i think the amount of work he put is greater (Harder to do the animations than the cg) its totally not a "free" game and seing that people is not leaving his patreon at all i think that a lot of people think like me
Lurker wolf going back to his cave good luck and have fun!
Dude, the coding for these types of games is super basic, in a super accessible programming language, in a program that does half the work for him. He just didn't bother to actually "write" the code. Coding on these things is like 2 days(hyperbole) work if you have your game all planned out already. I know writing, planning, drawing and animating, and the creative process that comes with each one takes serious work, but the programming does not and he has experience with it all to boot. For my part seing that he didin't have coding experience
I've can't fully speak for Ren'Py (although I did create a demo with it years ago), but I've spent at LEAST 100 hours learning and getting custom scripts setup and working in RPG Maker. That is supposedly "super basic" and "super accessible" as well. I'm not a programmer, and learning these things takes time. For you, it might take 2 days because you have a solid understanding of the programming language, but that does not apply to everyone.Dude, the coding for these types of games is super basic, in a super accessible programming language, in a program that does half the work for him. There is a reason there's a billion shitty "slave makers" with bad to no writing and copy pasted art assets out there.
Normally I just read and dont write ... but ... this is just rediculous to say that you needed a lot of time and he would need the same amount of time ... you have to think about that YOU tried to build your first game with it while AKABUR already did atleast 2 fully made games with the same engine and even if he implented some new features all in all ca. 80% of the game is the same as PT or MS ...I've can't fully speak for Ren'Py (although I did create a demo with it years ago), but I've spent at LEAST 100 hours learning and getting custom scripts setup and working in RPG Maker. With Ren'Py, I remember trying to setup a dating simulator style game and eventually the guy who created Ren'Py ended up creating a daily scheduling system and PDA system within the game. Again, I looked over what he did, and it did not seem "super easy."
I'm not even trying to justify this game as good with this post, just challenging this notion that using something like Ren'Py or RPG Maker is super easy. It's only easy if you settle for the basic or generic gameplay it comes with.
Is there any evidence for that aside from the Sacred Scrolls? I've never seen Akabur say that he cut content out of rage, or decided to release the game earlier than planned for similar reasons. All the indications were that the final game was out for testing and proofreading, so to me, the scrolls seemed to be items left on the cutting-room floor that he either didn't follow through with or decided to trim because they didn't fit in. So far, the only half-coded stuff I've seen in the game is more freaking books to increase your efficiency at paperwork, and a bunch of commented out stuff for tutoring that, if memory serves, was only a menu that never had its options implemented. This is all fun and dandy, but you do realise the leak/blowout/ragefest version we got here has about ~40%+ content removed from it ? Check the scrolls : there's about 3-4 alternate costumes for Hermione alone, some sort of leash-strutting with the blonde girl (dat name), the ball-and-gag CG would also suggest many scenes we're lacking, etc........
I counted over a hundred people who claimed they were scammed, "not leeches", and were pulling their funding from Akabur's patreon. His patreon supporter count has not dropped since the release of his game. Over a hundred people are lying about being supporters in order to "make a point" about the quality of the game. What are you? His cheerleader accountant?
A fool and his money, as people say. After the way this was released and this amazing display: ask.fm/AKABUR i don't understand how anyone who contributed any significant amount can feel anything but scammed.
Eight thousand dollars paycheck. 8. Nearly half the content of his previous "born out of love" labor. Ok then...
EDIT: Actually, why am i being so generous? This is more like a quarter of PTs content
Go read his "commentary" on the cut content that is in the game. He bitches about people "rushing him" and pins the blame on them. Just more bullshit, everyone knows there was no such thing, and even it were true he would have 8 thousand reasons to ignore it and finish the job.Is there any evidence for that aside from the Sacred Scrolls? As to Ren'py, he's not exactly taxing the system from what I can tell. I think most of his time there is wasted in not understanding how to encapsulate code in useful ways, so when he has to make a change, say, to how one book works, he then has to repeat that about 15 times and test all of them.
lol dis guyI love to see how some of you are in such a rage mode, talking about scam and other bullshit...
and when the game will finally be out, we'll see the exact same peoples licking Akabur's ball to show how they "always were his best fans".
Most of you never spent a single cent on his patreon and you're talking about scamming ? have you spent too much time jizzing your pants on his games that your brain stopped working or were you like that since your birth ? Stop talking about something you're not even understanding yourself, you're just making everyone else waste time and showing them what an a-hole looks like.
Does anybody know how reliable or quick to update the Patreon counter is? If you've already given for the month, do you disappear from the count immediately after you withdraw funding? He went up to 888 or 890 and then back down to 880 at one point. I don't know if that's new funding coming in and others leaving, or if the counter is just unreliable as all hell. Akabur himself complained that the Pledge amount on the page was inaccurate, and he was actually receiving 10%-20% less than stated. I don't know if that means actual inaccuracy, or if it's just a timing issue for a given month that merely conflicts with his expectations.I counted over a hundred people who claimed they were scammed, "not leeches", and were pulling their funding from Akabur's patreon. I find it absolutely fucking hilarious that people are pretending to take money away from him because a porn game didn't meet their expectations.
Where is this commentary? He always bitches about being rushed, frankly. He doesn't seem to have the capacity to just ignore those complaints, and it seems like feeling responsible to his patrons made that worse.Go read his "commentary" on the cut content that is in the game.
