Re: 淫獣と魔女とその娘 RJ126372

Summary of story:

You play as Abigail, a young witch in training. Her family has protected a barrier that has kept the monsters inside for generations (basically something like Gensokyo's barrier in Touhou, but darker).

(Note that the barrier represents your health like in a tower defense game. The barrier kills monsters that pass through it, but once enough monsters reach the barrier it would be breached and you will lose the game. There is another losing condition -- if Abigail loses her clothes and is 'caught' by a monster, you'll also lose if you don't escape fast enough. You can upgrade the barrier's strength, Abigail's clothes and her resistance towards monster 'advances' in the shop.)

You start off in a tutorial map, with Abigail's mother (The Witch) training you. Once you finished training, the mother retires into the house and tells her daughter that she can go out and play. Abigail resents this slightly, since she doesn't want to be treated as a child any longer.

Naturally, a goblin scout sees this and thinks it would be a great time to attack.

[Rest of story under spoilers]:
Abigail successfully guards the barrier and is praised by her mother for her growth. The village alchemist (the shopgirl) visits to sell some things, and to ask Abigail's mother for helping in trying to locate a girl who has wandered inside the barrier. The Witch sets off, leaving Abigail to guard the barrier. She told her daughter that she would soon return.

Days pass by. The monsters' attacks became stronger with each passing day. Abigail grew worried. She thought about her past, about how she used to be a crybaby who wouldn't bear the sight of her mother leaving her alone. Her mother comforted her and gave her a gift -- her hat. She asked her to be strong, and left.

A month soon passes. Abigail thought about her past again. She thought of a time when she ran to her mother crying with a bleeding cut on her forehead. She tried to visit her village. She was not welcome, and rocks greeted her.

Abigail's mother comforted her and told her not to visit the village again. Her family are not allowed inside the village. They are pariahs -- "defiled existences".

Abigail is jolted out of her thoughts. She senses movement ahead. It is something big. She prepares for the onslaught, setting up towers of scorching fire, frigid ice, and crystallized lightning.

The beast soon approaches. It is a tentacled monstrosity. Abigail fights. Miraculously, she wins. As the beast dies, a woman fell out of its maw. It is Abigail's mother. Abigail checks her mother's pulse. She is alive.

Days pass, and Abigail's has nursed her mother back to health. Yet her mother remains despondent. Not a word has passed through her lips since then. Abigail tries to comfort her mother, but fails. She leaves to prepare dinner.

Abigail soon comes back to fetch her mother. Her mother, however, is no longer around. This comes across as strange to Abigail. She has sensed no monsters around, so her mother must have left on her own will.

Abigail searches for her mother. The day has grown darker, and Abigail soon finds herself deep inside the barrier, in a place where she has not gone before. The fearsome forest.

Abigail continues her search under the moonlit sky. To her relief, she meets no monsters along the way, and soon come across her mother. Abigail asks her mother to come back with her. It is dangerous, she said.

Darkness descends at that exact moment. The moon has winked out abruptly, shrouded behind by heavy clouds.

Abigail finds herself caught off-guard. Something is holding her. She screams. She screams for her mother.

Her mother replies. She is at her limit, and can no longer hold back.

The clouds part away, and Abigail can see again. She is pinned down by fleshy tendrils. Abigail sees a strange protuberance in her mother's lower body. It is a thing that does not belong on a woman's body.

Unable to hold back, The Witch advances towards her daughter. Abigail pleads her mother to return to her senses.

Her pleas fell on deaf ears.

The Witch violates her daughter, lost in the throes of her ecstasy. Abigail screams. She asks her mother to stop. The Witch refuses.

Even as she is being violated her mother, Abigail's thoughts are still on the time they spent together. A memory surfaces.

Abigail remembers. Her mother has once told her of a strange property of the monsters' seed. Women who have received their seed are no longer human. Their hearts became defiled, and their debased minds and bodies will soon take on the form of the monsters.

Abigail asked her mother if those women can be saved. They cannot, her mother replied. They can only be killed. The Witch told Abigail that she did just that to her mother, Abigail's grandmother. She killed her before she can fully transform into a monster. She then asked Abigail to do the same to her should the same fate befell her.

Abigail knows what she must do.

With a surge of strength, Abigail frees herself from her mother's grasp. Again she screams. But this scream is no longer one of fear. It's one which bears a promise. A promise which she will soon fulfill.

Laughing manically, The Witch approaches her daughter again. More fleshy tendrils erupt out of the ground, to bind Abigail's once more. But Abigail dodges. She swerves, ducks, and runs around, all the while keeping a barrage of shots on The Witch.

Abigail succeeds. Her mother soon fell. Abigail lets out a scream of anguish. She has killed her mother. The woman who has brought her into the world, and cared for her. Her own flesh and blood.

More months pass. Abigail's belly is swollen. The alchemist is in front of her. Abigail has asked her to come. She needs someone to care for the barrier until she can give birth to her child.

The alchemist congratulates Abigail on her soon-to-be successful pregnancy. Abigail thanks her, but she is also concerned that she would be too immature and inexperienced to raise a child. The alchemist consoles her. She tells her that her mother used to be the same. They were like two peas in a pod, in both appearances and personality. Her mother has asked her about the same thing in the past when she was bearing her, and now she has raised such a wonderful daughter.

Abigail agrees, hesitatingly. The alchemist asks her whether she has decided on a name for a child yet. Abigail replies in the affirmative. She has, as her family, the curators of the barrier, has always inherited the same name...

"My name is Abigail. It is a gift I received from my beloved mother."

I knew it was going to be a sad story when there were flashback scenes and then her mother raped by a tentacle, even though I cant understand Japanese.

So... the father of Abigail's child is Abigail's mother? And if Abigail's life and her mother's life are about the same (according to the alchemist), then Abigail's grandmother is her father? That is pretty fucked up lol o_0

Re: 淫獣と魔女とその娘 RJ126372

I think the father of her child is more of that ball of tentacle which took over her mother's body, but yeah it's pretty messed up stuff. But is it even more messed up than Raven is destined to give birth to her father Trigon and end the world?

I wouldn't be surprised if the maker actually took some inspiration from Raven.

Re: 淫獣と魔女とその娘 RJ126372

Just a thought, rather terrible one
I feel as if the Alchemist is the one behind the whole thing.

Like, if she's the Reimu of this place (considering she never ages, despite how Abigail clearly grown taller in the ending), but since she's too lazy to do her job of protecting the land, she created a homunculus, the first Abigail, to do it for her.

But in all likelihood, the first Abigail got raped by the tentacle, which most likely is one of those 'once every now and then, a stronger than usual monster appears' (i.e. a lesser version of Demon King)

However, be it fortunate or not, the Alchemist probably saved the first Abigail, then realized she's pregnant with the tentacle's child.
And that child grows up to have magic power to deal with the monsters in the barrier.

So the alchemist makes sure the process repeat one way or another (once the 'next' Abigail is grown enough to handle monsters, send the older one off to get raped, then send the tentacle to the next gen. If she wins, set her up to get rape by her mother later, if not then the alchemist will interferes when she's pregnant)

And as to ensure that there's never too many Abigails, she makes sure e older one is disposed...possibly by the younger one to ensure the story passes on...

Maybe I'm thinking too much here 'A '

Alternatively:

Alchemist = Yukari
Abigail = Reimu
The Witch/Abigail Senior =

WMG: The previous generation Hakurei Miko's name was also Reimu.
