Here's some videos, though I'm going to wait until after the maintenance (and the Karma revival event) before I try the maps again; I haven't even attempted the last Karma map because I didn't have any rogues or proper 50CC archers at the time (despite what Dragon thought, that map was pretty easy for anyone that had a few silver assassins). The first one should let you know the complete pathing for the enemy units.

The last karma map? I don't recall having problems with that one at all. If anything, it's the gold wolf map afterwards that forces me to use Karma.
Karma maps has always been brutal due to the farm, not due to the difficulty.

Also, those videos are amazing. Just to prove that the devs designed the map to significantly decrease in difficulty if 3 stars aren't required.
15 lives allows the players to skip a lot of stuff.

So. Latest patch broke my app on Android. Package installer, from the DMM app, won't let me tap install though cancel works fine. Anyone else with similar issues?

Yeah after seeing that 1 star attempt, I just did my own thing, managed to 1 star with a plat armor and affection item drop, worth it. I can't imagine getting 2 star on the final will be too difficult either, so that should be 21 stars soon. Thanks for the videos~

Yep got 120/135 2 star clear using a similar strat. Event complete~ Whoooo.

Two cent to add to Karma discussion. While AW Orb maps are quite challenging there has been a steady drop in game difficulty since AW patch. Units gained a lot of power, and it seems enemies couldn't keep up without totally screwing new players. But before that patch there were maps which Karma could make or break. Starting for instance with black Oni swinging for 3k. Or spawning a Lich supported by multiple range attacking skeletons... I recall that anyone who attempted those maps could immediately tell how broken black Karma is.

We haven't seen a truly difficult map for a long time now. But once (if) they start appearing again, you will be very glad to have her in your ranks.

Yeah on the priest issue, the google translation doesn't really help, I can't even tell if they said that they fixed it or that the change was intentional.

I'll try to test it. To avoid placebo effect:

Edit: AI is still stupid as bricks and 2 healers in range will still both try to heal 1 damaged allied instead of spreading their healing around. It is now the age of herp derp healers. The good news is that your healers now seem to target an ally when they cast rather than when they first start charging their spell, so it's not as bad as yesterday where any low hp unit was guaranteed to die if you had multiple units taking damage. Still blows, but eh, it's not a massive nerf to all low hp units like before.

I don't understand how sometimes they save a low hp unit that was struck after they started their casting animation, but two healers still will waste their healing on one unit when multiple teammates are damaged. Maybe it has something to do with the healers I'm using? Could just be that the healing isn't maxing the unit but I can't tell because both healers are perfectly in sync or something. They seem like they aren't though, which is what is annoying me.
Somebody else test it and see if you notice any differences. It's an annoying thing to test, I wish I had recorded maps myself earlier to check for specific frames. This isn't something I paid much attention to before the other day, so I wasn't even 100% sure how the healing worked anyways (When targeting frames and cast frames started compared to when the heal actually occurs).

That's the way they always worked, selecting target on the final frames of the cast. It was never 100% perfect but worked well and distributed healing almost always.
Just tested twice and seems it was reverted to the original scheme so good news.

Hah, it seems they removed the story dialogue from this Revival Event. I already did rough translations based on old videos for anyone that's curious about the story for this event. This makes me wonder if Great Elder from the Dragon Princess's Revival had its story dialogue removed (if so, then I guess I should try and find videos with the story for the latter maps if they ever revive it again).

Well, I'm glad that it looks like they didn't tamper with the silver unit drops. I really need one more heavy armour to awaken Jelius, and multiple copies of Christopher for Chloe, Sedis, and whoever else needs him for their awakenings.

EDIT:
Realised that I should mention that whoever has been responsible for the spoiler data up to now hasn't been active on the Japanese community. So the drop rates for the Memento event were all based on aggregate data.

Another point is that the Revival Crystals will carry over after this event, so even if you don't want/need Karma, you probably should take advantage of this in case there's a character you want in the future (in my case, I want the Black Ninja Saki).

Yeah I know that was the original way, I just don't remember healers wasting their heals as frequently as they do now. They don't seem to split healing between multiple injured allies like they used to. I just can't tell if it's because my healers are in sync or not. 30 map isn't the best for testing, but it's the only one I really remember.

I get story dialogue in this revival event. Maybe because I'm doing this the first time, was not playing Aegis when it was an original event.

40/4 map - I've got 4x Revival Crystal I and 1x Revival Crystal II
no silvers so far and out of stamina/charisma.

Actually, they redid the story:


Vincent: "I see... if there is a way to make her an ally—if you obtain the revival crystals that are said to possess a mysterious power—then it may not be impossible."

I don't know how different the rewritten story is from the original, but if you keep getting a different number of text lines when you do the maps, let me know.

I just hit the 60 mark (new high score for me) and I can get 3 to 5 more from the current events :p

Saw a video by , so I quickly tried a modified strategy on the 100/2 map, and got 3-stars on my second try. I accidentally let a big mummy slip through on my first try with a sliver of its health because I didn't want to retreat High Princess Lilia for Immortal Princess Karma just then. Lilia completely wrecked 2 out of 3 of those 1.2k defence skeleton cavalry when I deployed her to the right of Calliope and Nenya (the first one Lilia was supported by Noel's skill, and the second one Lilia tanked with her own skill):


Now to see if I can figure out how to 3-star the previous map (I want to get the 24-star rainbow fairy trial reward).

Above map is as bad as Hores maps to 3 star. Though a lot of it has to do with "theoretically Waltz should give me enough raw firepower to kill off even the last rush"

For all intents and purpose, monne's a lot of reproduce-able, hence I highly suggest you attempt that instead.
