That's why I said not top ranked opponents. There is a near zero chance that people with < 200k power will have something that good, and be able to setup such a trap.
I've been using this method for this event since the last time, never lost once in ~1000 fights, so if it doesn't work, it's less than 1% chance
See, I'm talking about non-top opponents too. The trap is still just as viable against 4-ticket opponents, it may be even more lethal because you expect it less. The trap I nearly stepped on? With my pink team using a green assist, I battled a guy named fun, who had the pink apron girl SR worth 12,000 points at the far side of his formation. Because my own apron girl is in the center of my formation and is the strongest of my pink cards, one of my weaker pink cards had to fight it and got defeated, which then brought in the assist to get beaten too. Players who aren't rank 1 are very much still able to set up these traps - the 11,000 green maid girl and the 13,000 tentacles girl could both be obtained from the gachas, and the 12,000 pink apron girl could be obtained in the story mode.
Maybe it's only a 1% chance. But had I used a Lilith assist, a purple worth 13,080 points, the pink apron girl would have been defeated, and on the miniscule chance this rank 2 opponent had a Lilith of his own in that spot, I still would have won, giving me a complete, total, 0% chance of failure. And naturally, since the chance of a rank 2 opponent actually having a Lilith is so tiny, I'm almost just as safe using the 13,060 coffin girl assist or the 13,000 tentacles girl assist, each one being sure to defeat any pink traps lying in wait, as well as any potential purple defenders that might come up.
