For people who don't understand Japanese and want text hookers: I've managed a (moderately) successful hack of the game so that it works with ChiiTrans2 (NB: Not QuickAtlas or TranslationAggregator; the 'scrollback' feature of ChiiTrans is absolutely necessary).

Would people be interested if I packaged up my hack and uploaded it somewhere? It'd take a bit of effort on my part so I'd want to know that at least someone wants it.

And if people are interested in the premise of the story: Chris tried to summon a demon king, and ended up being reverse summoned to hell, where Bell got cursed into her cat form. Cue trying to dispel the curse and escape from hell. It's a pretty fun story, actually.

Yeah... no. I'm not translating the game. And my 'hack' is about ~20 lines of python, including a minor patch to the Ren'Py engine that the game uses to run.

Anyhow, link to a packaged version of my hack:

You must be registered to see the links

Usage instructions: unzip over the top of your DMC game, making sure to overwrite the renpy/text/text.py file. Then open the new rcv directory and run rcv.exe; it will launch DMC and copy any Japanese text it sees to the clipboard. You absolutely must use

for the translator, as it's scrollback is essential; just switch on ChiiTrans2's clipboard monitoring and you should be good to go.

The hack simply blasts any text that the Ren'Py engine sees over a local socket to the rcv program, which checks to see if it's Japanese, and if it is it will copy it to clipboard. As only Japanese text is sent to be translated, it's advisable to use the English UI to cut down on text spam.

Anyone know how to get through the 3rd dungeon? I was being stupid and didn't read it so I missed any hints my may have given. It's the one with all the doors hurting you except for one of them.

Two doors don't hurt you, actually. One contains a treasure chest, the other contains a boss. That's pretty much it.

did u go this way up lvl and catch 2 new mob? if cant go there try change other clothes and choice , this also can get another new clothes too, for exp. if dress icecream clothes can get 2 new clothes. Just clear and lvl 36-37, if want true ending need in party, if she in back, get bad ending only

BTW dont play easy, possibly cant clear game

Anna, the Suigintou-look-alike, says that you can't aim for her route when playing on Easy. Which is annoying, considering how grindy the game is.

Set options for maximum grind speed (see picture).

Use auto battle. A lot. The fastest way to enter auto battle is to press X and then enter. The fastest way to find encounters is to find a long corridor and use W to start auto-walking down it.

You can cheat money using Cheat Engine, some basic instructions were given earlier

Be aware the number for your money does not change on a purchase as such, so if you search for a value and find it, and then purchase, the value will not change, there will be a new memory address with the new value.

So as noted it is sort of trial an error, scan for the number and try changing the value, then try a purchase and see if the money has changes. Best with a large number as there will be only a few matches.

Thanks. I got some skill points after clear dungeon, should I attach all of them into 1 suit or not? Because the 1st suit was destroyed by them slime so I lost 1 skill point that I attached to it.
Also, do you get a bug "after loading save, automatically back to home" like me. Every time I save in dungeon and load again, I travel back to home. A little bit annoying.

save in dungeon is bug, only can buy 200$ item for save in dungeon (btw i never buy this and try...)
