Re: Rift Touched

B3.Use Shortbow on most wounded Spider to drop it. Then switch to Throwing Knives and Rats.
-X.Use Aura Sight to confirm the number of occupants in the room we don't want to be surprised.
--A1. only if the Spiders break before you can down 4 more Rats. (Using Shortsword Only)

Never watched that anime any good?

Current Questing Count:
4 Spider Sacs Need 1
5 Rat Tails Need 5(1 is already dead so really its 4)

Anime is pretty good, if a bit cliche. Also if you like nose-bleeding, a fair amount of ecchi, and sadistic girls then it's not a bad pick :D There's only one season which is a shame :(

C - bow

Letting your enemies kill each other and picking off the stragglers is the roguiest choice

Re: Rift Touched

Gotta agree with C, bow. No sense jumping into a chaotic melee when we don't need to and risk turning both sides on us.

Re: Rift Touched

Problem with C is that if the battle is dragged out too long then either sides might get backup or new enemies might show up and BBQing them WILL bring in new baddies.

Hitting a Spider then killing some Rats will net us the required amount in the least time.

But hey if you guys want to sit back and let this thing grow go right ahead.

Edit: both sides want to kill each other we are a bit too tough for the Spiders and the Rats will be less then likely to attack us after our last run in.

Re: Rift Touched

B3 agreed with bloodshifter pick off the rats first but than switch based on trying to ensure all are dead by the end, if we kill all of them we can ask for extra more easily. However it might be better to start with knives, since the fire arrows are flashy and would scare the rats off possibly scatter the whole group.

Re: Rift Touched

We don't need to kill them all. Rats would break once we drop Half there Numbers likely and Spiders would be killed if its only 2 of them.

Re: Rift Touched

Yeah of of course we don't need all, but its a situation where we have the advantage and could go for overachieving more easily. Also Colette already mentioned asking for extra, getting more then what was asked seems like the best way to do that. Also fire arrows could scare the rats before we get the four that we need.

B3 using bow for distance, but if they get close use the sword...get out of there as soon as we kill enough to complete the mission

If we used it against the Rats. Attacking one of the Spiders would simply drive them away from the Spider in question at worse? Cause Shock in the Vermin Lines then we follow up with Knives on the Rats after breaking the Spirit of both sides causing a Rout. From there we move to carve up the wee beasties and loot the corpses before we go a hunting once again.

There will be more chances for killing stuff later but let's at least fulfill the conditions of the Contract right now.

Mini-Update Post

~~~~~
The votes are currently at a stalemate between B3 and C so I think I'll take this opportunity to have a mini update (don't worry about the stalemate too much; if it remains then there will be improvisations)! Currently Colette is queued to go to the temple of Yyssbo and search for the feral goblins outside the city. Since there are so many other places to explore I'm using this mini-update to let you guys choose where you want to go next, and what you want to visit later on.
Mini-Update Choices
Where you want to go next after the sewers job is finished (if everything works out of course)
1. Go to the temple of Yyssbo (Specify what to do there)
2. Search for the feral goblins outside the city
3. Stay in the sewers and continue to explore them
Other places to visit in the city before the day is over
4. Visit another place in the merchant district.
4A. Explore the merchant’s district for more shops
4B. Head to the blacksmith
4C. Make a stop at the stylist’s
4D. Go back to “The Size that Fits” (possibly model for Xillia)
5. Visit another temple in the temple district.
5A. Go to Kramulet’s temple (specify what you want to do there)
5B. Go to Victressia’s temple (specify what you want to do there)
5C. Go to Dwynvel’s temple (specify what you want to do there)
6. Make a stop at the noble district.
6A. Visit The Noble’s Finery
6B. Visit Jazra’s Alchemical and Magical Emporium
6C. Visit The Proper Lady: A Gentleman’s and Woman’s Club
6D. Enter the dome of the permanent rift and check it out
6E. Visit the Capital Building of Kilnhaven
6F. Go to Yulag's inn to rest, eat, drink, or something else
6G. Go back to the notice board and look to see if there are more jobs
7. Go to the red light district
7A. Explore the red light district and what it has to offer
7B. Visit the bordello and figure out what it is
7C. Go back to “Exotic Sway” (get a job as a dancer, enjoy the entertainment. Specify.)
7D. Find and visit the shop that sells items of a “particular nature” Charles spoke of
8. Head off to the slums
8A. Explore the slums a bit
8B. Go back to Chap’s General store
8C. Visit the inn the slums has
9. Wander and explore the city at random
10. Try to get the job as a waitress at the slums inn
11. Other
We probably shouldn't give a prospective future employer the impression that we play around in poo
Re: Rift Touched
Well we don't stink any more at least and if we remove the Trenchcoat we wouldn't be mucky anymore.
Check the last update only the Trenchcoat (and boots) have muck.
Actually, the muck from the shoes rolled off thanks to the ice shield. However, the muck on Colette's coat is still there. As for the smell...guess we'll all find out at the next update ;)
Huh... well... I think once Colette finds out about Ice Shields appearant cleaning Abilities she might buy more Leather and Latex. Cleans anything that doesn't soak into the material! Its a Wizards lazy cleaner.
