Pretty darn sure virginity is restored only if you chose the 'restart' option. Which happens to also wipe all virginal inscriptions and histories. For those playing in normal, welcome back to level 1 Roland.

It also reset all boss kill counts and treasure chests, but you can still access Roland's room anyways, so it doesn't matter.

You obviously don't kill those fast enough. And Roland's also a goner with clothing on even if they get behind you.

Arachne/Arachnid are ones of the most annoying mobs to fight. At high enough level, once they bind you, you can't even use scrolls, and they kept stealing your turn with Bind + Paralyses + knock-down lock-down that it's not even funny.

There are essences and equipment which reduce the probability of getting hit with paralysis, even so the wiki does warn players about the dangers of getting surrounded by summoning mobs.

Last I checked, the arachnids had weaknesses just like every other creature. Simply bring along a weapon they are weak to and swing away.

you know how you're fast forward (shift-running) in the corridor, and before you know it your turn begin with Arachne+ mob (already summoned) and they manage to bind you the next turn....

It's happened before, the good news is if you run into them while you're still in the corridor then they can only attack you from two sides. It's then a simple matter of equipping a weapon that either kills one quickly or paralyses/confuses them long enough for you to clear out one end before focusing on the other.

If it's in a small room, that's where the skills holy vial/redemption come in useful. It's less likely the summons come in straight behind you, usually they are spread out in front making the skills that much more useful.

It's a lot of trouble trying to find dullahan.
Quite funny to see monsters randomly hit EVERYTHING(They even kill each other too) when I toss in the confusion scroll.

That's your decision regarding equipment, so you can't complain when the game screws you over on your weaknesses.

I like taking on arachnids because they drop paralysis and guard essences, so I don't take risks and have the right equipment to farm them no matter what dungeon I choose.

Any equipment is the right equipment for me~
No seriously, 1hko has it's perks.

You know what's really bad in Makai mode?
Those big demons with 2 extra slashers attached to their shoulder and is ice element.

Why are they bad in Makai?
One hit = 30~40 damage. And they hit twice just because. (Also move twice after agi debuff) Add in their hp bank, and viola.

I clearly remember just two of those and nothing else downed me in low level BoE. (I think I had 140 hp or so there)
Had 3/4 bar of a hp, got down to 1/4 bar. Eat a potion, and *waves roland goodbye due to getting kilt off by RNG/no dodge*

Just note, if a monster dies, the monster that killed it will consume it's levels.
For example, Lv15 Dullahan kills a Lv15 mob = Lv30 Dullahan.

I thought they just gained xp that may level them... I may need to be more careful with confusion scrolls and friendly fire incidents.

The Hell-battler? I remember having trouble with it when I first explored the catacombs, but it has weaknesses like everything else.

For starters, don't engage in melee even if you have the one-hit build unless you're desperate. Guns work fine even if it's bullet-resistant since the ranged attack is not as painful, since you use the vanguard lancer the laser attack bypasses the usual ranged resistance.

The wiki recommends equipment which grants the faith bonus or has anti-demon essences to take out the hell-battler. The Athame knives I use have blind-2 and paralysis 1 so usually after 2-3 rounds I stop the onslaught and prevail provided it's still 1-on-1.

Entrance to a room, two of them at the same time (and other mobs I killed off first, which is why they got close to me)

I can take any # of anything (outside of dullahan and chaos portals) in a corridor, but entrance to a room takes some judgement.

Hell-battler wise, I recall Roland was downed twice (which force a restart due to the way I play)
1) BoE, low level, got bursted down accidentally by 2 of them after I killed the other stuff in the room
2) Catatombs, deep (Floor 20+), misjudged an entrance, thought it was one that prevented diagonal melee but it wasn't.

Healthy respect for those, I put them at higher priority now.

Different people, different play style, different problems. I usually align myself with the Hell Battler so that he shoot agi-down, then using consecrate to repel, then redemption on the last second before he arrives. I fear the enemy Disabler + Nuke combo more than the assault-type.
My biggest enemy is Spouting. Damn, I wanna use Blute-inscription so I had her Futa/Congested, but she just kept on Spouting in a room field with perverts. Now I'm considering using Corruption + Violet-spore + Incubator combo and see what happens. Btw, I'm a melee player, so any comments?

Nope, you're on the right track, but fighting in corridor is different than fighting in the open you know?

Step 3) Step back one step
Step 4) Quick-swap to feather duster

Blind attack - attack - attack - attack
100+20+100+20, +100+20+100+20, +100+...

Step 5) Didn't see a number pop up
Step 6) Quick-swap to melee
Step 7) Angelic Halo and didn't hit a thing
Step 8) Room cleared

...
What's the point of Feather-duster's melee anyways? Nothing even gets close ._.

Just to clear out misunderstanding: seems like sex-kind involves Passion-Beat, Ecstasy, Animal-Passion, Sensitive, etc. and not just Vagina-sex.
Also, is it just me or does it seems like you had to avoid using Redemption/Angelic-Hallow when fighting against disabler enemies, since most of the Focus-based skills will make you more vulnerable to being Stun/Capture/Blablabla. I found that Jack/Banshee dissonance are more likely to stun you when you're preparing for delayed-skills.

Ok, after awhile, I played back the game, and I stumbled upon a Spined Blade (or Whip-Keris), a 2-squared-range melee weapon, with a paralyze-2 red essence (but with resilience-1 red which makes it less pretty). The problem is that it requires me to combine my Rapier+30 status-ailment build ONLY, and that it refuses to combine with any other Rapier 4-slot (even when filled with different essences).
So, does anyone knew how to get the Spine-Blade without me needing to sacrifice my favorite weapon? Thanks.... *Silence*....

Need a little help here using the latest version of maidensnow I am unable to upgrade items at the dwarf selecting them or holding down Z does nothing, used an older version to test and it works fine there.

Any ideas? not being able to upgrade via dwarf isn't game breaking but it is annoying, all other services from him and other merchants work so I have no idea.

And yes the items are able to be upgraded I got rid of everthing I was carrying picked up a new weapon and killed some things with it until it showed up in his Reinforce menu but still unable to select it or use it.

Seem like someone (probably Crown) got this in the past too... seem like you have to wait for patch from author or wait for the new version
Or you could just report the problem to the author.
