Re: ROBF

tried to edit my level (search for your level, level up, search again) with cheat-engine, only to realize that that only effected my Job points and health value, all your other stats like STR and DEX don't change.

on the other hand, you can search for the number of stat points you have left to spend, then spend one, they search again till you find that value...

so anyway, long story short, i now have like, 100 luck at level 11.

not fucking with anything else though, makes it too easy,

This game is good enough that I'd recommend playing through it legit.

I've had problem with Mega and large downloads when using Chrome. Try Firefox instead.

I didn't even know there was a +1 normal attack card. I'd assume one of the final bosses drops it though. Doppelganger (060) would be my guess as she is the highest level boss that uses the +1 attack skill and naturally can hit multiple times with all her H moves. The card usually kind of matches the girls abilities so it makes the most sense to me. She's located at the bottom of Geffen Tower.

I only have 80% of the cards and I've bought them all from all the towns so I assume the ones I'm missing are mostly bosses.

Edit: So wow, I went to go test her drops and I just found a new sword I've never seen anybody mention before on her. Awesome. Adding it to my weapon faq above.
Hooray for my educated guessing abilities, just found it. "Number of times the normal attack is +1. (078) doppelganger card" So yes, Doppelganger drops it.
Damn now I kind of want to go farm all the bosses. I thought I was done with this game for a bit.

Re: ROBF

Any tips I can get for this game? I know there's a walkthrough (although I still can't figure out how to start or finish some quests), but the hardest part I have is that any monstergirl outside the sewer, is still pretty much too difficult to actually handle.

Re: ROBF

A lot of people seemed to like the int builds. Personally I went and put points pretty evenly into everything but int and luck (Though I had some luck). Got Agility, Strength, Dex and Vitality to the 50 base mark for the bonuses some attributes get there (+1 attack from agility, status resists from 50 vit). I like balance. I wish I would have had the points to bring my luck to 50 for the bonus to drop rates, that made me sad.

There's a skill that requires Auto Counter 3 and a lot of other reqs but it hits harder than any other skill in the game (I've hit 8k with the right buffs but it's usually around 3-5k depending on the boss's defense). It can't be used every round though and that's where your other attack skills or normal attacks come in. One of the prereqs is also an attack skill that negates defense so it's very powerful and can be used inbetween turns.

Picking up all the lines of +1 attack skills is also very helpful for a str/dex/vit build. The best one (Looks like a purple blob of goo but is actually a bunch of little purple stick figures) not only adds +1 to all your normal attacks but greatly buffs attack so that's an option inbetween using your wicked damage skill. The +5 Vit pet can also randomly buff your attack attributes and you will be hitting HARD (I saw like 30-40%ish damage increase with it activated even with skills). 40% Crit card is very helpful with this build.

After I take a break from this game for a while, I'm going to replay it with an int build though. Mostly I want to see the tentacle bondage move and get the special int attack that I couldn't get from the crystal ball lady. I have like 8 folders of saves for my first playthrough with my fear of missing important things in rpg games lols.

Sorry to disappoint you, but both attacks have no special associated animation. Just a bunch of flashes on the screen.

As far as builds go, from lv1 to 50 nets u 245 points to spend. Page 4 of this thread has a link to the ROBF FAQ telling you what the point bonuses are.

"Good" End Game Builds IMO (format is STATS; weapon; pet; card1, card2, card3, card4):

STR+AGI build:

LV30:
35STR 50AGI 50VIT 10DEX; any; +5VIT, STR+DEX+INT buff / +5STR, mob def down debuff; +10VIT stun-immunity, +10HIT, any, any

LV50:
76~86STR 99AGI 50VIT 10~20DEX; +1 normal attack wep; see above; see above; +40 CRIT, +40 CRIT, +1 normal attack, +10VIT stun-immunity

This build is centered on multiple attacks and making the most of them. With this build, you get -SIX- normal attacks with an 80% critical chance each time. HIT is gained per 10 DEX points, so keep that in mind.

The VIT pet periodically buffs your STR, DEX, and INT, which is helpful in general. The STR pet debuffs your opponent (chance of failure or immunity). The STR pet will net you more damage in the long run through raw stats, but her debuff may fail. The VIT pet is more reliable in that sense.

Weapon is gained from last castle (quest #32). VIT pet is found in pyramid (mob #22). STR pet is found in western forest (mob #7). +40 CRIT card is from boss monster on bottom floor of SE town cave (mob #59). +1 normal attack card is from doppelganger boss in tower town dungeon (mob #60). +10VIT stun-immunity card is from defeating blacksmith while having her "set" your weapon.

The only skills this build really benefits from is the one mentioned above by FruitSmoothie that looks like a cloud of purple with white stick figures running. Other than that, get the usual lv1 heal, guaranteed dodge, invisibility, lv3 HP regen, lv3 SP regen, "flash" (lights on skill), steal + forced undressing and/or acid bottle, etc.
INT build:

LV30:
25STR 70INT 50VIT; any; +5VIT, STR+DEX+INT buff; +10VIT stun-immunity, any other cards

LV50:
76~86STR 99INT 50VIT 10~20DEX; see above; see above; see above

INT-centered build. The STR is included for those enemies resistant/immune to INT-based damage that you will meet late in the game, so know that a pure INT build is not such a great idea. HIT is gained per 10 DEX points, so keep that in mind.

See previous build for how to obtain pet/card.

Just get the skills with pictures of breasts. You want the one with multiple levels that are displayed as multiple levels. (Not the single skill you pick multiple times to level up, although that is a pre-requisite for the other cool INT skills.) Go wild. See above build for other recommended skills.
Hope that helped somehow.

Re: ROBF

Hi , i think build INT when begin game is the good choice , easy to defeat any boss and mods
And when you reach lv 25>30 , you can use reset ( point , skill) items to reset all your status and skill , i only need 50 INT to use Rotor attack skill , and leave my point to build STR , AGI , DEX , VIT
And use card 40 crit , +1 normal attack with the weapon from dark castle( +1 normal attack) and learn some skill add +1 normal attack

Answers:
The "Branch of Old" (Branch icon in your post) is in my item guide above.

The cup removes curses (The death symbol I believe, that greatly lowers your stats) and translates to something like "Spirit Water". I had to search through my whole inventory for the proper translation but now I know where it's from.

This can be stolen or acquired from any of the "Holy" human npcs. Some monsters also drop it but I know for sure that all these humans do:
Himepu (042) (Girl outside the inn at the starter town), Syrup (051) (Arena fight)

Updated my post above with the jap names of most items to avoid confusion (Hopefully you can all tell what an apple looks like). I tried to add more quest items as well.

Reminds me that there were a lot of key items that I don't remember ever being used. The mining helmet and the box of treasures are some. That switch in the room of memories I can't use bothers me too.

thanks, i have been trying to navigate the game using etigoya guide.

he(?) seems to put loads of effort into writing walkthroughs, but even with so many images to help, its still hard to tell what he's saying sometimes.

(sorry etigoya)

one last thing through, where exactly ARE the Ghost Ring (057) or the Moonlight Flower (059)? its all good telling me what mob to hunt, but i have no idea where any of these are, my monsterbook is at like, 45%.

edit: nevermind, managed to find then farm ghost ring, think i have everything i need now.

Yeah I wrote Angeloid Ring and Ghost Ring's spawn spot about half dozen times in items section. I figured by then it was pretty easy to spot it in there. Clarified for that one item anyways (Only one I missed, oops)

Re: ROBF

So...what exactly is the item I need for the Tentacles/Warp spell? I got the skills but can't seem to find the item no matter how much I look and it seems to be so basic it's not listed in these guides.

Gemstones (ジェムストーン). You can buy them from Geffen City (Tower Town) at the consumable shop for 100 each, I believe. Some mobs may also drop them and you can certainly find them in chests and such.
